MATCH FOUR

Jim Ross: Still to come, we've got Sami Zayn versus Ted DiBiase in our main event... with General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special guest referee! Up first though, we'll see one half of the Tag Team Champions, Dean Ambrose, take on Ryback!

"Meat on the Table" hit and the crowd booed as Ryback made his way to the ring, accompanied by his tag team partner, Wade Barrett.

Jerry Lawler: Well JR, the last time we saw these two, they interfered in the Tag Title match at Destiny, causing a double disqualification. I'm sure Dean Ambrose will be looking for retribution against Ryback here tonight!

Jim Ross: No doubt about that, King... Barrett and Ryback will be marked men after their actions at Destiny. I wouldn't be surprised if Luke Harper and Stardust want revenge too... after all, Barrett and Ryback cost them the opportunity to be champions!

After Ryback had entered the ring, "Hey Hey, My My" by Neil Young hit and the crowd cheered as Dean Ambrose headed to the ring, accompanied by Seth Rollins. Rollins and Ambrose entered the ring together and held up their Tag Championships proudly, taunting Ryback with the gold. Ambrose then handed his title belt to Rollins, who exited the ring. Jim Ross: Another near fall! This time Ryback gets a two count!

As Ryback got to his feet, Ambrose jumped from the turnbuckle, hitting a diving elbow drop. Ambrose hooked the leg once more – 1... 2... kickout! At ringside, Rollins shouted words of encouragement to his partner. Barrett then got in Rollins face and began mouthing off at him, causing one of the officials at ringside to separate the two superstars. Both men got to their feet and Ryback lifted Ambrose up once more, this time hitting a fallaway slam. Ambrose got to his feet and Ryback hit the Meat Hook clothesline, then hooked the leg. Jerry Lawler: This doesn't look good, JR!

As Barrett re-entered the ring and set the table up, Rollins began to stir. Barrett noticed and he grabbed Rollins, throwing him out of the ring. Barrett then grabbed Ambrose and lifted him up, passing him to Ryback, who powerbombed Ambrose through the table!

Jim Ross: Bah gawd! Ambrose has been broken in half!

Ryback and Barrett made their way to the back as Warfare went to a commercial break.

MATCH FIVE

When Warfare came back from a commercial "Glass Shatters" was heard over the PA system as the crowd absolutely went ballistic for the GM Stone Cold Steve Austin as he emerged from the back. He wore a referee shirt and a pair of cut-off jeans and his black boots. He strutted to the ring as the bell rang.

Christy Hemme: The following contest is set for one fall, introducing first the special guest referee. STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!

Jim Ross: Well here we go King, looks like Sami Zayn is going to have a chance to strike first against Vertex on the road to Fanniversary, he takes on Ted DiBiase tonight.

Jerry Lawler: With Stone Cold as the special guest ref, oh man all hell might break loose here, JR.

The cheers quickly turned to boo's as "Awake and Alive" hit and the Vertex made their way through the curtain. DiBiase was of course in ring gear, Owens, O'Reilly, and Balor were as well just with the black with red lettered "Vertex- You Wish You Were Us" shirts. The Miz was the last one to emerge from the back and the boos intensified. He wore an expensive suit and had the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder. He nodded to the rest of the group, and they all made their way down to the ring together.

Christy Hemme: Introducing first from West Palm Beach, Florida. Being accompanied by Kyle O'Reilly, Finn Bálor, Kevin Owens, and the EBWF World Heavyweight Champion The Miz, TED DIBIASE.

Ted entered the ring and glared at Austin, who returned the glare and even mouthed some trash talk, which Ted gladly returned. Vertex lined the ring, while Miz went over to the announcers' booth.

Jim Ross: Well it looks like as we often are, we are being joined by the Miz.

The Miz: You can call me Champ.

Jim Ross: I'd rather not.

The Miz: So bitter huh JR? Try and focus on Austin being in the ring, that should bring you back to the days where people actually cared you were over here.

Jim Ross: Always such a pleasure having you over here, Miz.

The Miz: Indeed the pleasure is ALWAYS all yours.

Jim Ross: Well in any event, we are getting set for action here, and here comes Sami Zayn, the man that will challenge you for the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship in a couple of weeks at Fanniversary.

The Miz: Whoopdie Doo...

World's Apart by CFO$ hit the PA system and Sami Zayn, ran through the curtain to loud cheers from the capacity crowd. He wasted no time going through an entrance and was down to the ring in a flash.

Christy Hemme: His opponent- from Montreal, Quebec, Canada- SAMI ZAYN!

Zayn had already slid into the ring and he went right for DiBiase but Austin cut him off and yelled at him to get back to his corner.

The Miz: For once Stone Cold doing something right- this little donut hole has to wait for the match to start.

Jerry Lawler: Donut Hole?

Stone Cold rang the bell and the match began. Sami charged Ted and wasted little time hitting 4 straight rights that backed Ted into the corner. Sami then back pedaled quickly and charged Ted with a clothesline that hit square. Ted slumped down in a seated position in the corner. Sami ignited the crowd with a reaction to his hot start.

Jim Ross: Right away Sami Zayn, taking control of this match. He is fired up after what happened last month at Destiny.

The Miz: I always get a little more fired up when I lose too... fortunately it doesn't happen very often anymore... exhibit A.

The Miz patted the EBWF Championship as the match continued in the ring.

Sami grabbed Ted by the hair, but this time Ted slapped his arms away and hit Zayn with a knee to the chest. Ted then ran the ropes and hit a high knee right to the face of Zayn who was slightly slumped over. Ted went for a cover but only got a one count. The two were back up to a vertical base, and they locked up- advantage Zayn who got Ted in a side headlock. Ted threw Zayn off into the ropes, and went for a back body drop on the rebound, but Sami landed on his feet, and planted Ted in the middle of the ring with a bulldog. Sami went for a cover and Austin counted 1... 2... but Ted kicked out.

The Miz: Pretty fast count- luckily I don't think Steve can count to three so Ted was pretty safe there.

Jim Ross: Back and forth action here so far. A win would really help Zayn gain some momentum against your group The Vertex, Miz.

The Miz: Pfft...

Jim Ross: Very insightful retort, "champ."

Both men were back up once again. Sami went for a kick to Ted's midsection, but Ted caught his foot and spun Sami so that his back was to him. When Sami turned around, Ted planted him with a clothesline. He then went up to the second rope and looked to come flying knees first into Sami's midsection but Sami moved out of the way. Ted was back up dazed, and Sami hit a tornado DDT in the middle of the ring. Sami went for the cover, but once again Ted kicked out at two. Sami was back up first. Ted was dazed as Zayn whipped him into the corner. Sami backed up and it looked like he was setting him up for a Helluva Kick. As this happened Bálor was up on the ring apron. Austin would have none of that as he hit a running forearm that sent Bálor down to the floor. Austin was so pumped up, that he followed Bálor to the outside. He began stomping repeatedly into the chest of Bálor.

Jim Ross: Stone Cold STOMPING A MUDHOLE in Finn Balor and walking it dry, but Steve wait LOOK!

In the ring Kevin Owens, similar to the way he had at Destiny, was in the ring and he hit a POP UP POWERBOMB on Zayn. Owens quickly slid out of the ring. Austin's attention went back into the ring. DiBiase was coming to.

The Miz: FINISH it TED!

Zayn slowly crawled back to his feet only to be hit with Dream Street in the middle of the ring.

Jim Ross: This can't be! Not again!

The Miz: When are you going to learn JR? We are running this company.

Ted crawled into the cover and Austin counted... ONE... TWO... but he then stopped the count and flipped Ted two middle fingers and the crowd went nuts. Ted was up to his feet and got right in Austin's face arguing. Austin obliged him by hitting a stunner on DiBiase and the crowd went insane.

Jim Ross: STUNNER! DiBiase is down... Zayn is down.

The Miz had taken off his head set and instructed Owens and O'Reilly to get in there. Balor was still down on the outside. Owens ran in and whiffed on a clothesline... STUNNER! O'Reilly went to throw a right hand. Austin blocked it, STUNNER. He got down on his knees and began talking trash in the ear of both the fallen members of Vertex.

Jim Ross: BAH GAWD! STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN IS STUNNING EVERY VERTEX MEMBER THAT MOVES! You might want to stay over here Miz!

Miz looked rattled at first, but quickly got his wits about him. Bálor was up now and went to run into the ring, but before he could even climb in Austin kicked him in the face before he got up to the ring apron. Owens and O'Reilly had rolled out of the ring in pain. Austin locked eyes with Miz and began yelling trash talk to him. Miz for once had no reply as he just stared at Austin, and the situation in the ring. Ted was up but he had used the turnbuckle to come to his feet and Zayn was up on the other side. Miz looked like he was about to come into the ring, but Austin watched him like a hawk the entire time it took for Zayn to run and hit a Helluva Kick. Ted slumped down and fell in the middle of the ring, and Zayn went for the cover. Austin counted while staring at Miz, who looked like he was gonna run in, but decided against it. ONE... TWO... THREE! The bell rang.

Christy Hemme: Here is your winner! Sami Zayn!

Jim Ross: YES! JUSTICE! With Stone Cold Steve Austin as the new sheriff in town things may just be about to go south for the Vertex!

Jerry Lawler: Couldn't have happened to nicer guys, JR!

Miz was still eyes locked on Austin. When Sami got his hand raised, Miz began talking trash to him, and Sami just smiled which seemed to enrage Miz even more. The three fallen Vertex members on the outside were up weakly to their feet as Miz pulled Ted out of the ring and the group made their retreat up the ramp. Miz was yelling "you'll be sorry about this!" As Austin was right up on the rope nearest to the ramp flipping Vertex the bird. Sami celebrated on the opposite turnbuckles as Warfare went off the air to "World's Apart" by CFO$ blaring and the crowd going nuts.
