SEGMENT

Mauro Ranallo: Good evening everyone and welcome to Warfare live from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana!

Corey Graves: It’s going to be an amazing night tonight Mauro.

Mauro Ranallo: Without a doubt. King of the Ring Seth Rollins takes on EC3 in tonight’s Main Event!

Corey Graves: Not to mention Andrade Cien Almas and Rey Mysterio challenge for the EBWF Tag Team Titles. You’ve got to wonder if they’re prepared for the Sumerian Death Squad.

Mauro Ranallo: I’m not certain you can prepare for Tommy End and Michael Dante.

“Toreador II” by Apocalyptica started to play across the arena and Aiden English stepped out onto the ramp with a microphone in his hand. Raquel Diaz stepped out behind him and they both paused at the top of the ramp to pose. The crowd roared with disapproval.

Mauro Ranallo: Speaking of not being prepared for Tommy End. Aiden English is making his first public appearance since losing to End at King of the Ring.

Corey Graves: I have it on good authority that he was taking a much needed vacation from in ring action.

Mauro Ranallo: Much needed because Tommy almost took his head off with an Owari Death Kick!

Aiden taunted the crowd in his usual manner as he made his way down to the ring. Once he was at the ring, he sat on the middle rope and allowed his wife to climb in first. He followed her into the ring and walked directly to the corner. Aiden stepped up onto the second turnbuckle and posed with his arms outstretched as his music faded. Aiden walked back to the center of the ring.

Aiden English: Alright, that’s enough!

The crowd erupted into a chorus of boos and eventually a “you got beat” chant that started somewhere in the front row.

Aiden English: Listen! I don’t have the patience to deal with you idiots from Indiana tonight!

The crowd responded as expected to Aiden’s cheap heat. He leaned over the top rope and yelled back at them to drive the boos over the top.

Mauro Ranallo: I don’t think the people in attendance tonight care much for the Drama King.

Corey Graves: They just don’t recognize true talent when they see it Mauro!

Aiden walked back to the center of the ring and handed Raquel the microphone. After a few moments the crowd started to settle down and Raquel looked to her husband who nodded in approval.

Raquel Diaz: Thank you! My husband understands that his loss at King of the Ring took some of the momentum out of his rise in EBWF. He understands that while it ended his chances at King of the Ring it also ended his undefeated streak. It was a big blow to his ego and a lot to lose in a single night. But, he also understands that all good things come to an end. What hasn’t ended for my husband is his time in the EBWF or his role as number one contender for the Breakout Championship. What he would like to do is give back to the EBWF Universe for all the opportunities he has been given by giving an opportunity to someone in the back. Tonight, Aiden English will face anyone willing to come down to the ring. THAT’S RIGHT EVERYONE! Aiden English is offering an OPEN CHALLENGE to anyone in the building!

The crowd cheered at the announcement of the open challenge. Then roared for the generic rock music that started to play. A man in a black and yellow singlet stepped out onto the entrance ramp and waved to the crowd.

Corey Graves: What a great guy Aiden English is to give an opportunity like this to, who is this guy?

Mauro Ranallo: I have no idea!

Christy Hemme: Answering the Aiden English Open Challenge, from Indianapolis, Indiana, he is Owen Davidson!

Aiden backed up to the ropes and held them open again for his wife as the local wrestler walked down the ramp to the cheers of his hometown crowd. Owen slid under the bottom rope and stood across the ring from Aiden as he paced from corner to corner. The referee leaned in and said a few words to Owen and then backed away and signaled for the bell.

Mauro Ranallo: And we’re underway!

Aiden didn’t waste any time rushing across the ring and delivering a clothesline that almost turned Davidson inside out. Aiden climbed the turnbuckle and once again taunted the crowd, giving Owen time to get to his feet. Davidson clubbed Aiden across the back and pulled him down off the corner. He whipped Aiden across the ring and delivered a clothesline of his own. Aiden rolled out of the ring and slapped the canvas.

Mauro Ranallo: If Aiden English isn’t careful he might pick up his second loss tonight!

Owen Davidson walked over to the ropes and motioned for Aiden to get back in. Aiden told him to back away from the ropes and the young wrestler obliged. Aiden rolled under the bottom rope and climbed to his feet, being careful to keep an eye on Owen the entire time. The two locked up in the center of the ring and Aiden took control with a side headlock. Owen tried to power out of the move but Aiden had it locked on tight. He backed Aiden up into the ropes and then shoved him off across the ring. Owen dropped his head looking for a back body drop on the returning English but Aiden delivered a running knee lift instead. Aiden rolled Davidson over and made the cover.

Kickout!

Aiden slapped the mat and argued with the referee about the speed of his count. He drug Owen back to his feet and planted him back on the mat headfirst with a DDT. Instead of going for the cover, Aiden dropped a knee on Owen’s head and posed for the crowd with his arms outstretched. English stood upright and again dropped a knee on Owen’s head. The crowd booed as Aiden continued the assault with two more massive knees. Aiden walked a circle around the ring before picking Davidson up and setting him up for the Director’s Cut. Just then Aiden noticed Raquel talking to a fan and shoved Owen back to the mat. Aiden leaned over the top rope and began shouting.

Corey Graves: What is going on at ringside?

Mauro Ranallo: It looks like English is mad that his wife is talking to that fan in the front row!

Raquel returned to the ring and started trying to explain to Aiden what was going on in a conversation that the camera’s didn’t pick up. From behind Owen Davidson rolled Aiden up with a school boy.

3…!

Christy Hemme: And your winner by pinfall, OWEN DAVIDSON!

Corey Graves: What just happened?

Mauro Ranallo: Get this man a contract, he’s just pinned Aiden English!

Corey Graves: He was having a conversation with his wife, that’s not fair!

Mauro Ranallo: Maybe Aiden English should pay more attention to the wrestling match!

Aiden rolled out of the ring and began throwing a fit at ringside. He slapped the mat, kicked the stairs and yelled at the cheering crowd. Raquel rushed over to him and attempted to comfort him but he put his hands up to stop her from getting too close. Aiden turned and headed up the ramp with Raquel right behind him and Owen Davidson still celebrating in the ring. Warfare went to a commercial break.

MATCH ONE

As Warfare returned from a commercial break, "True Love" by CFO$ hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Mike Kanellis made his way to the ring, accompanied by his wife Maria.

Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Up next, we've got Mike Kanellis in action as he goes one on one with Tommaso Ciampa!

As he reached the bottom of the ramp, Mike Kanellis kissed Maria, then entered the ring. "Psycho Killer" by Talking Heads hit and the crowd booed as Tommaso Ciampa headed to the ring.

Corey Graves: Last time we saw Tommaso Ciampa in action was at King of the Ring, when he used a chain to choke out Braun Strowman in a brutal street fight!

Mauro Ranallo: Strowman suffered a fractured larynx as a result of that match, and it is not yet known when he will return. On behalf of everyone here at EBWF, we'd like to wish Braun a speedy recovery.

Corey Graves: If I was Mike Kanellis, I wouldn't want to go anywhere near the man who put Braun Strowman out of action!

Upon entering the ring, Ciampa glared at Kanellis. As the referee called for the bell, Kanellis went to lock up with Ciampa, but Ciampa blocked it and hit Kanellis with a kick to the midsection, then pummelled him with a series of punches. Kanellis stumbled backwards, and Ciampa grabbed him, throwing him shoulder first into the ring post! Kanellis fell into a sitting position, and Ciampa stomped on him in the corner several times, before dragging him to his feet and hitting an uppercut. Ciampa pulled Kanellis out of the corner and lifted him over his shoulder, hitting a back to belly piledriver. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!

Mauro Ranallo: Kanellis is taking some punishment here... he's a lover, not a fighter!

Ciampa pulled Kanellis to his feet and hit him with some more right hands, then dragged him towards the corner, slamming his head off the top turnbuckle. Ciampa then sat Kanellis on the top turnbuckle, setting him up for a superplex, but Kanellis blocked it and shoved Ciampa away, before hitting a dropkick. Both men got to their feet, and Kanellis hit a DDT, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Kanellis sat Ciampa up, and applied a chin lock. Maria applauded her husband's efforts from ringside.

Corey Graves: Kanellis making a comeback, much to the delight of his wife!

Mauro Ranallo: Wait a second, Corey... we're hearing there is a commotion backstage!

The camera cut to the parking lot, where an ambulance had just arrived. Out of the ambulance stepped Braun Strowman, who was wearing a neck brace. The crowd cheered at the sight of Strowman.

Corey Graves: I thought Strowman was hospitalised... did he steal an ambulance?

Strowman walked into the arena, where he was approached by road agent Dean Malenko.

Dean Malenko: Hey, Braun. What are you doing here? I spoke to the doctors last week, they told me you weren't going to be ready to return to action for another month...

Strowman spoke slowly, his voice croaky from the injury he had sustained at King of the Ring.

Braun Strowman: Where... is... Ciampa?

Malenko's eyes widened with fear when he realised Strowman was out for revenge.

Dean Malenko: He's in the middle of a match, Braun. You can't—

Before Malenko could say anything else, Strowman grabbed him, slamming his head against the nearest wall and knocking him out cold! Strowman then rushed through the ringside area, heading towards the ring. As he stepped out onto the stage, he pointed towards the ring at Tommaso Ciampa.

Mauro Ranallo: Someone call 911 because I think Tommaso Ciampa is about to have an accident!

The camera cut to the ring, where Kanellis still had Ciampa in a chin lock. As Strowman made his way down the ramp, Ciampa escaped the hold and headbutted Kanellis. He got to his feet, looked at Strowman... and challenged the Monster Among Men to enter the ring! As Strowman did so, Ciampa threw Kanellis into Strowman, then exited the ring and fled through the crowd! Strowman lifted Kanellis up over his shoulder, hitting a Running Powerslam! Strowman then removed his neck brace, and raised his arms in the air.

Corey Graves: Ciampa got out of here just in the nick of time!

Mauro Ranallo: He can't run forever, Corey... sooner or later, he's going to have to face Braun Strowman!

MATCH TWO

"I Want it All" by Queen hit and the crowd cheered as Dalton Castle made his way to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Up next, we've got the Gateway Champion Dalton Castle in action as he goes one on one with Marty Scurll!

When Castle had entered the ring, "One True Villain" hit and the crowd booed as Marty Scurll headed to the ring. Once Scurll was in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Castle charged towards Scurll, hitting him with some right hands, but Scurll fought back with some right hands of his own. Scurll whipped Castle into the corner and ran at him, going for a clothesline, but Castle blocked it and then went to the top rope, hitting a crossbody. Both men got to their feet and Castle hit an over-the-shoulder back-to-belly piledriver, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... Scurll kicked out! Castle pulled Scurll to his feet and went to whip him against the ropes, but Scurll reversed the Irish whip, sending Castle into the ropes. As Castle ran back towards him, Scurll hit a hip toss, then as Castle got back to his feet, Scurll hit a sitout suplex slam. Scurll grabbed Castle by the leg, and went to lock in a single leg Boston crab, but Castle kicked him away and got to his feet. Castle whipped Scurll into the corner, then hit a running high knee. Scurll staggered out of the corner, and Castle hit the Fair Winds! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!

Corey Graves: Dalton Castle is in control here... Marty Scurll is in trouble!

Castle pulled Scurll to his feet and hit an exploder suplex, then went to the top rope, signalling for the Anchors Away! Castle leapt from the top rope... but Scurll rolled out of the way! Both men got to their feet, and Scurll hit a neckbreaker, then signalled for the Bird of Prey! He lifted Castle up, but Castle wriggled free and countered with a German suplex! Both men got to their feet, and Castle hit the Bang-A-Rang! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Mauro Ranallo: It's over! An impressive victory for Dalton Castle!

Castle celebrated as Warfare went to a commercial break.

MATCH THREE

Trish paced back and forth as she waited in the middle of the ring. She looked up at the entrance way, hungry to get her hands on EBWF Women’s Champion. She did not have to wait for long as the titan tron rumbled with the loud sound of static. The televisions all faded to static for a slight moment before returning in black and white. “Lost in the Static” blasted onto the sound system as Zahra Schreiber slowly walked out on to the stage to an arena full of boos. The displeasure from the EBWF Universe had no affect on her as she stopped at the top of the ramp and smiled.

Christy Hemme: Making her way to the ring, from Saginaw, Michigan. She is the EBWF Women’s Champion.. ZAHRA SCHREIBER!!

Zahra reached behind her back and unstrapped the title belt and held it up in the air. Zahra tilted her head and with a threw a cocky smile down towards the ring at Trish. After a few seconds of standing with title in the air, Zahra stepped forward and walked down the ramp. She walked around the side of the ring and climbed up the steps. She walked along the apron and smiled at Trish. Zahra lifted up the championship and placed it on the top rope, the plate facing Trish. Zahra shook her as she laid her head on the belt.

Mauro Ranallo: Zahra is taunting Trish Stratus with the EBWF Women’s Championship belt.

Corey Graves: She’s not taunting her.. She’s showing Trish what she’ll never have again.

Zahra entered the ring and walked up to Trish. She lifted the championship and literally shoved it in Trish’s face. Trish didn’t take this disrespect as she reached up and threw Zahra’s arm away. The championship fell to the ground as Trish brought her hand around and slapped Zahra across the face.

Mauro Ranallo: Trish not taking it anymore. She’s had enough of Zahra’s antics.

The referee waved for the bell to ring as Trish begun to lay into Zahra with a few punches. Zahra backed up into the corner. The referee reached down and grabbed the championship belt and slid it out of the ring. He quickly turned back to the match as Trish stood over Zahra in the corner. Zahra sat down on the bottom turnbuckle as she attempted to block the beat down. The referee walked over and pulled at Trish to back off.

Referee: 1… 2… 3…

Trish backed off and mouthed off at the referee. She turned back to Zahra and grabbed at her hair. She pulled Zahra out of the corner. Zahra grabbed at her hair to lighten the pain from Trish pull. The referee walked with the two women and warned Trish about the hair.

Corey Graves: What is this ref doing.. He needs to get Trish off Zahra.

Zahra screamed out as the two women reached the center of the ring. Trish turned to and faced Zahra. She pulled Zahra’s head up and looked her in the eye.

Trish Stratus: I’m going to teach you som…

Before Trish could finish her sentence, Zahra spat in her face. Trish released Zahra’s hair and touched the loogie on her face. She stared at Zahra who smirked. Trish let out a scream as she charged Zahra. She tackled her to the ground. Trish hammered down on Zahra with some closed fists. Zahra squirmed under Trish and inched closer to the ropes. The referee pulled Trish off of Zahra and backed her into the center of the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: What a show of complete disrespect by Zahra. How could she spit in the face of a legend in women’s wrestling.

Zahra pulled herself out of the ring under the bottom rope. She sat up with her feet still in the ring. She smiled at Trish who was still held back by the referee. She fought to get at Zahra, but the referee kept her back.

Mauro Ranallo: Trish looks like she’s ready to kill Zahra..

Corey Graves: This is getting out of control.. Someone needs to take Trish to the mental ward, she’s gone nuts.

Trish spun around and dodged the referee and made her way to Zahra. Quickly, Zahra slid the rest of her body out of the ring and hopped off the apron. Trish bounced off the ropes and screamed for Zahra to get back in the ring. Zahra took the opportunity and pulled Trish’s legs out from under her. She yanked her out of the ring. Zahra put her shoulder at Trish’s midsection and charged her back against the edge of the ring. Trish screamed out in pain. Zahra kept the hold around Trish’s waist and backed up. She charged forward once more and rammed Trish’s back against the edge of the ring once more. The referee bent down through the ropes and urged the women to get back into the ring. Zahra stood up as Trish collapsed to the ground holding her back.

Mauro Ranallo: Zahra taking control here.

Zahra looked down and shook her head at Trish. The referee back in the ring begun to count the two women out. Zahra stomped down on Trish’s back. Trish screamed out in pain and rolled against the ring skirt. Zahra reached down and picked up the skirt and draped it over Trish’s body. Zahra turned to the crowd and wiped her hands.

Referee: 3… 4…

Zahra looked back at the referee and shook her head. She then reached down under the skirt and grabbed Trish by the hair. She pulled her back up to her feet and lead her over over to steel steps. Zahra pulled back on Trish’s head and slammed her down on the stairs. Trish’s head bounced off the steel and bounced back. The referee stopped his count and jumped out of the ring. Trish fell to the ground once more. The referee back Zahra away and leaned down to check on Trish. Zahra wiped her hands once more with a smirk on her face as she walked away. She walked around the side of the ring and mouthed off with the EBWF Universe. Trish sat herself up against the steel steps and nodded that she was okay.

Mauro Ranallo: Zahra trying to take a short cut here.

Corey Graves: Winning by any means necessary.. That’s what Zahra does.

Zahra turned away from the crowd and looked over where she saw the EBWF official as he bent down at Trish. Zahra charged forward and ran around the corner of the ring. Zahra went full speed at Trish and rammed her knee into Trish’s skull. Trish’s head was sandwiched between the steel steps and Zahra’s knee.

Mauro Ranallo: OH MY GOD!!!

The crowd gasped as Trish’s eyes glazed over as she slumped to the side. The referee went at Zahra and forced her to get back into the ring. Zahra listened and rolled into the ring. She walked over to the opposite side of the ring and went into the corner. She hopped up onto the top turnbuckle and sat. She faced the side where the referee knelt down once more and checked on Trish.

Mauro Ranallo: Trish could have a concussion…

The referee asked Trish if she wanted to continue. She didn’t answer at first so the referee was about to stand up to call for the match to be called off, but Trish reached up and tugged at his shirt. She shook her head. He bent down and asked her again if she wanted to continue. She gave a slow nod. The referee asked a third time with the same response. He shrugged his shoulders and slid back into the ring. He walked over to Zahra quickly and told her Trish wanted to continue. Zahra show no reaction as the referee turned around walked back to the side where Trish laid.

Referee: 1… 2… 3…

Mauro Ranallo: Trish wanted to continue, but how is she going to be able to get back into the ring.

Corey Graves: She shouldn’t even try.. Just take the loss.

Referee: 5… 6…

Trish reached up and tugged on the ring skirt as she pulled herself up. Her head popped over the edge of the ring. Zahra shook her head as the referee’s count continued.

Referee: 8… 9… ..

Trish powered her want up and slid into the ring. Her body laid on the mat as the referee waved off the count. Zahra sat on the top rope and shook her head as she watched Trish get back into the ring before the count. She watched as Trish struggled to get to her hands and knees. A smirk grew as Zahra seen what position Trish was in. She quickly hopped off the rope and ran at Trish. She jumped into the air and brought her foot down on the back of Trish’s neck.

Corey Graves: AMERICAN HISTORY X!!! IT’S OVER!!!

Zahra dropped down and quickly covered Trish. She hooked the leg as the referee dropped down for the count.

Referee: 1… 2… 3…

Mauro Ranallo: That’s it!! Zahra beats Trish Stratus!!

Corey Graves: All is right in the world!

Zahra smirked again as she stood up. The referee walked over and took Zahra’s arm into his hand and raised it up in the air. “Lost in the Static” blasted back onto the sound system as Zahra stood tall over Trish.

Christy Hemme: And the winner of this match, the EBWF Women’s Champion… Zahra Schreiber..

The referee dropped down and checked on Trish as Zahra looked on. She walked over and demanded her championship. The time keeper walked it over and handed the belt off. Zahra took it and walked to the center of the ring. She held the championship high above her head.

Mauro Ranallo: The EBWF Women’s Champion continues to show her dominance.

Corey Graves: Did you expect any different? Wait a minute.. What’s this? Who’s that Mauro?!

From the crowd, a hooded figure hopped the barricade and charged the ring. With her back turned, the hooded figure jumped Zahra. As they attacked the hood fell off and revealed Paige.

Mauro Ranallo: IT’S PAIGE!!!

Paige jumped on top of Zahra and rained down a couple of punches. Zahra covered up until she was able to swing her hips and flip Paige off her. Zahra took the mount and started to drop a few punches of her own. The two women rolled back and forth as they exchanged the mounted position a few times between the two of them. Referees and security hit the ring and attempted to pull the two women off each other.

Mauro Ranallo: The heat between these two women is definitely mounting..

They managed to pull the two women apart but the two continued to scream at each other. They clawed and jumped as they attempted to get back at each other. When order seemed to have been restored, Zahra broke free from her captors and ran at Paige. She lunged and jumped over the security and started to lay into Paige. The two women fell to the mat and rolled out of the ring. The two brawled on the outside as the guards continued to try to pull the two women apart. Finally the two were separated as Paige was forced back into the crowd by security. Zahra was pinned against the barricade on the opposite side of the ring.

Corey Graves: Paige needs to quick sticking her nose on Zahra’s business.

Mauro Ranallo: I don’t know if that will be possible Corey.. This seems highly personal between these two women.

Back in the ring away from all the commotion at ringside, Trish knelt up on her knees. She had to referees on either side of her as they attempted to help her to her feet. She asked them for a moment, but all of a sudden, Charlotte Flair slid into the ring. She charged at Trish and flipped over the top of her as she drove Trish’s head into the mat.

Mauro Ranallo: NATURAL SELECTION!!! WHERE DID CHARLOTTE COME FROM!!!!

Charlotte looked down at a motionless Trish as she stood over top here. “Recognition” blasted onto the sound system as she turned her attention to the EBWF Universe. She listened as all the boos rained down on her. Charlotte turned her head and looked down at Zahra who stared back into the ring at Charlotte.

MATCH FOUR

The crowd was pumped for tag team action as the championships were on the line in this bout. End and Rey started things off as End hit some hard kicks on Rey, only for Almas to distract him enough for Rey to turn things around. End was able to quickly get back on the attack though, and got a near fall after a hard knee to the face of Rey Mysterio, who rolled out of the ring. Dante dove onto Rey, bringing him back into the ring, as End got an Oklahoma Roll for another near fall. End wrenched Rey's arm, and tagged in Dante. Dante hit a big dropkick for yet another near fall.

Mauro Ranallo: The Tag Champions are making a strong case here!

Dante whipped Rey into the corner and continued the attack, hitting a pendulum backbreaker. He locked in a chinlock as Rey struggled to his feet. Dante tagged in End, who whipped Rey to the ropes, but ended up on the apron himself, as Rey distracted the ref allowing Almas to knock End off the apron. Rey tagged in Almas as End struggled back into the ring. Almas drove a knee into End, and Rey tagged himself back in. The crowd booed.

Corey Graves: This crowd was ready to see Almas!

Rey targeted Black's leg and Almas' tagged in again, hitting a leg drop on Rey. Dante drop kicked Almas, and Black pinned Rey quickly.

Corey Graves: Michael Dante and Tommy End just stole one! They're still the tag team champions!

Mauro Ranallo: I thought Rey and Almas might pull it out there!

Corey Graves: If you ask me, Almas needs to drop that dead weight in Mysterio! Royalty deserves better!

MATCH FIVE

Seth Rollins was to the ring first accompanied by Paige. Christy Hemme did his introduction and transitioned into introducing EC3 who entered the arena with a rather smug look on his face. Once he was in the ring, the ref called for the bell. Rollins immediately floored EC3 with a dropkick. He stomped away at him, and EC3 rolled out of the ring to recover. They circled the ring, and EC3 went for the leg. Rollins countered and applied a waistlock. Rollins gave a clean break when EC3 got to the ropes. Rollins punched and chopped him before hitting a snapmare. He covered for a two count. Rollins hit an arm drag and applied an arm bar. Rollins looked to Paige at ringside. She cheered him on.

Mauro Rapallo: The top one percenter almost got it there!

EC3 cinched in the headlock, but Rollins fought up, and whipped EC3 off. Rollins dropped down, then leapfrogged him, and hit a hip toss. Rollins then dropkicked EC3 out of the ring, Rollins went after him, and EC3 retreated back inside under the bottom rope. Rollins followed after and Charged at EC3.
