MATCH TWO

Torrie Wilson came to the ring to the sounds of “Aphrodite” and cheers from the EBWF Universe. She moved down the ramp confidently before getting into the ring and greeting the crowd. The cheers turned to boos as Zahra’s music hit and she came to the stage alone with the EBWF Women’s championship around her waist.

Corey Graves: It’s the longest reigning women’s champion in EBWF history!

Mauro Ranallo: And she’s facing off against the most decorated woman in EBWF history!

Corey Graves: Let’s see which will be victorious.

The bell rang and Zahra went after Torrie to start things up, but after a moment of scuffle, Torrie hit the champ with a wicked forearm that caused Zahra to stumble back. Torrie kicked away at Zahra Torrie went for the pin, but Zahra kicked out at two.

Corey Graves: What was she thinking?

Zahra got to her feet and hit Torrie with a clothesline. Back in the ring, Zahra pounded away on Torrie. The Champ nailed a knife-edge chop, before she followed up with the Irish whip into the corner goes. Zahra went to the middle rope to trap Torrie between herself and the corner. She pummeled her with punches before finally grabbing her by the hair and throwing her face first to the mat.

Mauro Ranallo: Zahra has destruction in mind!

The crowd booed as Zahra ran forward and hit Torrie with American History X. Zahra hooked Torrie’s leg.

1... 2... 3!

The bell rang and the crowd booed louder as the ref reunited Zahra with her championship belt. She lifted it above her head as the crowd looked on and EBWF went to commercial.

MATCH THREE

AWWWWEEESSOOOOOMMMMMMEEEEEE!!!!

"I Came to Play" by Downstait blasted out of the speakers as The Miz made his way out onto the entrance ramp to massive cheers from the crowd. The Miz played to the fans as he headed down to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: The Miz had some strong words about his opponent tonight, Randy Orton.

Corey Graves: Yeah he did. Same can't be said for Randy though.

With a trademark flourish, The Miz mounted the turnbuckle and taunted the crowd, soaking in the adulation. He started removing his entrance costume as his music began to fade.

GO BACK TO SLEEP!

Miz's music was replaced by "Counting Bodies Like Sheep" by A Perfect Circle. Randy made his way down towards his opponent, largely unconcerned with the reactions from the crowd. Draped over his shoulder was the EBWF Gateway Championship.

Mauro Ranallo: With a surprising victory, Randy Orton secured himself the Gateway Championship title and secured an opportunity at cashing in the title for a shot at the EBWF World Championship.

Corey Graves: If he can hold onto it long enough to get that shot, that is. It's harder than it looks sometimes.

After Christy Hemme introduced the two competitors, the referee called for the bell.

Mauro Ranallo: Two former World Champions in their own right here! This is why EBWF is the best wrestling show on television!

Randy and the Miz locked up in the center of the ring, jockeying for position. Randy used his height advantage to gain headlock leverage over the Miz. Randy wrenched back on the headlock, attempting to take Miz down to the mat. The Miz stuffed the attempt and pushed Randy towards the ropes. Randy bounced off and went for a clothes line which Miz ducked underneath. Randy put on the brakes and turned around right into a DDT from the Miz. Miz quickly went for a cover and got a two count.

Mauro Ranallo: Miz going for a quick cover here.

Miz picked Randy up and threw him into the corner, going for his signature rope-hung clothesline. Randy kicked up his foot and connected with Miz's jaw, sending him stumbling back from the corner. Randy stepped forward and got his arm around Miz's neck, hitting his inverted headlock backbreaker. Randy hooked the leg and got a two count of his own.

Corey Graves: These guys are elder statesmen of the EBWF, and they don't like each other one bit.

Randy started circling the Miz, taking measured stomps at Miz's hands and feet. He reached down and pulled Miz up into a headlock, draping him over the second rope.

Mauro Ranallo: Randy's looking for that devastating rope-hung DDT! That could be it if he lands it!

Miz shifted his weight and freed his legs from the ropes, getting to a vertical base. He grabbed Randy and hit a northern lights suplex, sending Randy crashing to the mat on his back. With that, Miz circled Randy, measuring him up for the Skull Crushing Finale. Slowly Randy began to get up to a standing position when...

Corey Graves: Wait a minute, what the hell is going on?

The lights in the arena cut out entirely, bathing the entire place in darkness, save for a few sporadic cell phone flashlights.

Mauro Ranallo: I can't see a thing! We're in the middle of a match here!

The crowd had a quiet murmur of noise, confusion as to what was going on. Suddenly unsettling sound of children laughing permeated the entire arena bathed in pitch black. The laughter went on for what seemed like an eternity until suddenly the lights in the Wells Fargo Arena fired back on with a loud pop. The cameras zoomed into the scene ringside. Miz was outside on the floor, motionless. Inside the ring, Randy Orton layed unconscious, a steel chair wrapped around his skull.

Corey Graves: What in God's name happened, Mauro?! Randy and the Miz are down!

Mauro Ranallo: I... I have no idea! The lights were out for several seconds and in that time two former World Champions have been taken out! Someone get security in there and a medical team to take a look at Orton and the Miz!

Trainers rushed the ringside area to check out both athletes while a stunned silent audience watched on and Warfare went to a commercial.

MATCH FOUR

Mauro Ranallo: Up next, it's time for our main event... the reigning World Champion, Aiden English, goes one on one with the ten-time EBWF World Champion, Chris Jericho!

"Break the Walls Down" hit and the crowd cheered as Chris Jericho made his way to the ring. As Jericho entered the ring, he moved into the corner, awaiting the arrival of his opponent. "Moments" by Sevendust hit and the crowd booed as Aiden English stepped out onto the stage, accompanied by his wife, Raquel Diaz. English stood at the top of the ramp and held up the World Title, then headed to the ring.

Corey Graves: This is a non-title match, but if Chris Jericho can defeat Aiden English here tonight, you have to believe he'll put himself in contention for a title shot!

Upon entering the ring, English held up the World Title once more, taunting Jericho. Jericho shrugged, then held up his fingers and thumbs, reminding English that he had held the title ten times. English smirked, then charged towards Jericho and went to hit him with the title belt! Jericho ducked out of the way and turned around, hitting English with a clothesline! As English dropped the title, the referee grabbed it and handed it to one of the officials at ringside, then called for the bell. As the bell rang, English got to his feet and exchanged right hands with Jericho. English was able to get the upper hand, and he went to whip Jericho against the ropes, but Jericho reversed the Irish whip, sending English against the ropes. As English ran back towards him, Jericho hit an arm drag, then as English got back to his feet, Jericho whipped him into the corner. Jericho ran at English, hitting him with a clothesline, then took him down with a one-handed bulldog. Jericho then hit Aiden English with the Lionsault! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... English kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia! I can't remember the last time I actually saw Chris Jericho hit the Lionsault, Corey! Incredible athleticism from Jericho, especially considering it was his 49th birthday last weekend!

Corey Graves: It might have looked impressive, Mauro, but it didn't get the job done...

Jericho got to his feet and stomped on English several times, then pulled him to his feet and set him up for a double underhook backbreaker. English blocked it, then countered with a swinging neckbreaker. Both men got to their feet and English hit Jericho with a series of right hands, then lifted him onto his shoulders, hitting a fireman carry spinebuster. English followed it up with a leaping leg drop, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... Jericho kicked out! English got to his feet and stomped on Jericho several times, then sat Jericho up and applied a sleeper hold. Jericho fought out of it, and as both men got to their feet, Jericho whipped Aiden English against the ropes. As English hit the ropes, he grabbed onto the top rope, stopping himself. Jericho ran at English, going for a clothesline, but English ducked out of the way and pulled down on the ropes, sending Jericho to the outside! As Jericho hit the floor, Aiden English exchanged a look with his wife, then began talking to the referee about something. While the referee's back was turned, Raquel Diaz grabbed Jericho and slammed his head off the steel steps! The crowd booed, and as the referee turned around, Raquel quickly moved away from Jericho and held up her hands, protesting her innocence. English exited the ring and grabbed Jericho, throwing him into the ringside barrier then hitting him with a series of punches. English lifted Jericho up, and dropped him onto the barrier, then rolled back into the ring and yelled at the referee to count him out. The referee began counting – 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... Jericho got to his feet as the referee counted 7, and slid back into the ring as the referee counted 8. English grabbed Jericho and set him up for a single underhook facelock drop, but Jericho blocked it and got behind English, hitting him with a tiger suplex! English's shoulders were down, and the referee counted – 1... 2... English kicked out! Jericho pulled English to his feet and whipped him into the corner, then hit him with a series of backhand chops. As English staggered out of the corner, Jericho hit a double underhook backbreaker, then grabbed English by the legs and locked in the Walls of Jericho!

Mauro Ranallo: Walls of Jericho! Aiden English could be in trouble here!

English cried out in pain and tried to get to the ropes, but Jericho moved forwards, ensuring the ropes were out of reach. As English stretched out his arm, Raquel Diaz grabbed it, pulling her husband towards the ropes! The crowd booed as English grabbed onto the bottom rope and the referee ordered Jericho to break the hold.

Mauro Ranallo: Come on, that's twice that Raquel Diaz has gotten involved in this match! It's not right!

Corey Graves: It might not be "right", Mauro, but if you don't get caught... it's effective!

Jericho glared at Raquel, who smiled innocently. The crowd then began to cheer, and the camera cut to the stage, where Natalya had just walked through the curtain. As Natalya ran towards the ring, Jericho mouthed to Raquel, "you're in trouble now".

Mauro Ranallo: Natalya has had enough, and she's coming out here to help her friend Chris Jericho!

Raquel tried to run away from Natalya, but the Queen of Harts was too quick for her and she speared Raquel down to the ground, then hit a series of punches. Natalya then grabbed Raquel by the legs, locking in the Sharpshooter! Raquel Diaz cried out in pain, and Aiden English tried to go to his wife's aid, but before he could exit the ring Jericho grabbed him and rolled him up in a schoolboy! The referee counted – 1... 2... English kicked out! Both men got to their feet, and English went for a clothesline, but Jericho ducked out of the way, then hit English with the Codebreaker! Before Jericho could pin Aiden English, CM Punk ran into the ring and attacked him! The referee called for the bell, ending the match.

Corey Graves: Well Jericho wins by disqualification, but now he's got both Aiden English and CM Punk to deal with...

Punk pummelled Jericho with a series of punches, before pulling him to his feet and hitting the GTS! Punk then helped English to his feet, but as he did so, English shoved Punk aside and rolled out of the ring to check on his wife. Upon seeing English exit the ring, Natalya let go of Raquel Diaz and stepped back. Raquel appeared to be in a lot of pain, and as English tended to her, Natalya walked back up the ramp.

Mauro Ranallo: Corey, I think Raquel Diaz might be hurt!

Corey Graves: It's not right, Mauro, Natalya had no business attacking Raquel like that...

Mauro Ranallo: Come on, you know Natalya would never deliberately injure someone! She only came out here because Raquel kept getting involved in the match...

Aiden English continued to tend to his wife as Warfare went off the air.
