MATCH ONE

EBWF Warfare went live as a pyrotechnics display went off on the entrance ramp as cameras circled and picked up the fans in attendance, all holding signs supporting their favorite wrestlers.

Mauro Ranallo: We're on a highway to the holidays! And the holidays just mean more sensational matches and more violence in EBWF! I'm Mauro Ranallo and welcome to EBWF Warfare, live from Memphis, Tennessee! We have a terrific lineup for you tonight!

Nigel McGuiness: Tonight we have the Gateway Champion and the World Champion in action.

Mauro Ranallo: Plus the Miz gets a shot at the leader of the Legion, Tommy End.

Nigel McGuiness: But first, Randy Orton in a non-title match against the Psycho Killer, Tomasso Ciampa!

'Psycho Killer' by Talking Heads played as Tomasso Ciampa made his way out to the ring, unconcerned about the reaction he was receiving from the crowd.

Mauro Ranallo: What an opportunity for Tomasso Ciampa to put yourself in the Gateway championship picture by beating the current champion.

Nigel McGuiness: Tomasso has to focus and find a weakness in Randy Orton's game.

Ciampa went to his corner and waited in the ring as his music faded.

And waited...

...and waited.

Mauro Ranallo: Um, is Randy Orton coming out?

More time passed, until the EBWF Tron suddenly fired up with a chaotic scene backstage. Medical staff were crowding an area inside the locker rooms.

Nigel McGuiness: What in the world happened?!

Trainers and medical staff parted out of the camera's view just long enough to reveal Randy Orton, motionless, on the ground.

Mauro Ranallo: That's Orton! Good lord he's completely unconscious!

Nigel McGuiness: Is this the result of his mystery attacker of late?

Tomasso Ciampa looked on from the ring as the scene unfolded on the Tron. A small puddle of blood pooled near Randy's head as staff moved to secure him on a stretcher.

Mauro Ranallo: You have to imagine Randy's going to be transferred to a medical facility at this point. We're going to go to commercial, folks. Stay tuned!

MATCH TWO

Mauro Ranallo: Still to come, Aiden English takes on Edge in our main event, but up next we’ve got Tommy End versus The Miz!

"Lost in the Static" by After the Burial hit and the crowd booed as Tommy End made his way to the ring, accompanied by Michael Dante. After End had entered the ring, "I Came To Play" by Downstait hit, and the crowd cheered as The Miz stepped out onto the stage. When Miz was in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Miz charged towards Tommy End, hitting him with a series of punches and trapping him in the corner. Miz then hit End with a series of kicks, causing him to fall into a sitting position. Miz took several steps back and charged towards End, hitting him with a low dropkick.

Mauro Ranallo: An impressive start by The Miz! He’s taking the fight to Tommy End!

Miz pulled End to his feet and hit him with a neckbreaker, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... End kicked out! Miz got to his feet and stomped on End several times, then pulled End to his feet and set him up for a suplex, but End blocked it, countering with a suplex of his own. Both men got to their feet and End took Miz down with a running high knee. As The Miz got to his feet, End shoved him against the ropes and hit a clothesline, sending him over the top rope. End then distracted the referee which Michael Dante attacked Miz at ringside! Dante stomped on The Miz several times, then picked him up and hit a powerbomb onto the ring apron!

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia! Miz might be seriously hurt... and the referee didn’t even see it! Michael Dante has no business getting involved in this match!

Nigel McGuiness: Miz is at a severe disadvantage here, Mauro... the presence of Michael Dante at ringside effectively makes this a handicap match!

End rolled out of the ring and grabbed The Miz, then rolled him back into the ring. End slid back into the ring and lifted Miz up, hitting a brainbuster! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Miz kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: The Miz isn’t done yet!

Nigel McGuinness: Impressive resilience from the four time EBWF World Champion!

End pulled Miz to his feet and hit a cutter, then locked in the Owari Death Clutch! Miz was able to get his foot on the ropes, and the referee ordered Tommy End to break the hold. As End did so, Miz rolled out of the ring, giving himself a moment to recover. Dante tried to cheap shot Miz again, but this time Miz was ready for him, and he grabbed Dante, throwing him into the ring steps!

Mauro Ranallo: Miz might have just taken Michael Dante out of the equation!

As Miz rolled back into the ring, Tommy End went for the Owari Death Kick, but Miz ducked out of the way and took End down to the mat, then locked in the figure four leglock!

Nigel McGuinness: Clever strategy by The Miz! He’s trying to take out the most dangerous weapons in Tommy End’s arsenal!

End cried out in pain, but he was able to get to the ropes. The referee ordered Miz to break the hold and Miz got to his feet, then stomped on End several times. Miz pulled End to his feet and whipped him into the corner, then ran at him, hitting the Awesome Clothesline! As End staggered out of the corner, Miz went for the Skull Crushing Finale... but End blocked it, countering with a Russian legsweep! End followed up with the Owari Death Kick, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... 3!

Mauro Ranallo: It’s over! Tommy End gets the victory!

The referee called for the bell and raised End’s arm in victory. As the bell rang, Michael Dante entered the ring and began pummelling The Miz!

Nigel McGuiness: The match is over now... there’s nothing to stop Dante and End from destroying The Miz!

Dante pulled Miz to his feet and whipped him into the corner, then ran at him and hit a bodypress. End charged towards Miz, hitting a high knee, then as Miz staggered out of the corner, Dante took him down with a Spear! Dante and End then set Miz up for the Dead Man’s Trigger... but before they could hit it, Chris Jericho ran to the ring!

Mauro Ranallo: It’s Chris Jericho! He’s coming to the aid of The Miz!

Upon entering the ring, Jericho took Dante down with a clothesline, then exchanged right hands with Tommy End. Dante got to his feet and ran at Jericho, going for a big boot... but Jericho ducked out of the way and Dante inadvertently hit End instead! Jericho then grabbed Michael Dante, hitting the Codebreaker! Dante and End both rolled out of the ring, regrouping at the bottom of the ramp. Jericho helped Miz to his feet, and the two former World Champions stared down Legion, making it clear they were ready to fight.

Nigel McGuinness: Well we didn’t think Miz had anyone in his corner, Mauro, but I guess he’s got Chris Jericho!

End and Dante retreated up the ramp as Warfare went to commercial.

MATCH THREE

Mauro Ranallo: Ladies and gentlemen it’s time for the main event of this edition of EBWF Warfare!

Nigel McGuiness: That’s right and tonight Edge is taking on EBWF World Champion Aiden English!

Mauro Ranallo: Aiden seems to be becoming more and more unhinged without Raquel Diaz to keep him focused.

Nigel McGuiness: Hard to believe that Raquel was the sane one of the couple!

Mauro Ranallo: Not something I ever expected to hear!

Nigel McGuiness: As crazy as he’s becoming, he’s also been on a streak in the ring!

Mauro Ranallo: That streak is a mean streak! His untelevised match with Elias last week has me concerned for Elias’s wellbeing.

Nigel McGuiness: Neither he nor Chavo Guererro Jr are cleared to compete after their matches with Aiden last week.

Mauro Ranallo: These are friends and family, you’ve got to wonder what he has in store for Edge tonight.

Nigel McGuiness: Edge is no slouch, he’s a multi time EBWF World Champion!

“Metalingus” by Alter Bridge broke over the arena and the crowd came to their feet. The cheers were overwhelming and only grew as Edge stepped out onto the ramp. He made his way to the ring with a smile on his face, interacting with the fans sitting near the ramp. Edge used the ring steps to climb up onto the apron before ducking under the top rope.

Mauro Ranallo: There he is, Edge! His best friend Randy Orton just won our Gateway Championship Tournament and could be cashing on Aiden English in the near future!

Nigel McGuiness: I’m not sure that’s going to help Edge.

Mauro Ranallo: Maybe not but you have to imagine that a win over the World Champion would cement Edge in the title picture!

The crowd did a one eighty as “Moments” by Sevendust kicked off. Aiden stepped out wearing all black with his silver EBWF World Title hanging over his shoulder. The crowd booed as he walked slowly toward the ring. Suddenly the music cut out and the tron showed footage of Raquel Diaz locked in the Sharpshooter by Natalya. When Aiden noticed this he started screaming. Edge was laughing in the ring as Aiden started shoving camera men and shouting to get it off the screen. Aiden climbed up on the apron and shouted at the referee while pointing to the footage, now on its third loop. The referee yelled back and tried to get him in the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: I’m not sure Aiden finds this as funny as the crowd here in Memphis!

Nigel McGuiness: Who would do this?

Mauro Ranallo: It could be Mr. Ikeda!

Aiden climbed into the ring, still shouting at the referee. The referee took the title from Aiden’s shoulder and handed it to someone over the top rope. Aiden was staring at the tron and continuing to shout when the bell rang. Edge took advantage of the opportunity and hit Aiden with a running forearm to the back of the head.

Mauro Ranallo: Ever the opportunist is Edge!

Aiden climbed to his feet as Edge ran toward him looking for a clothesline. Aiden ducked under the attack and took off in the opposite direction. The two met in the center of the ring and Aiden leapt onto Edge with a Lou Thez Press. Aiden punched repeatedly. Aiden jumped up and marched into the corner, still fuming over the video package. Edge made it to his feet and yelled at Aiden. They circled each other.

Nigel McGuiness: A sort of soft reset to the match as both men are on their feet!

Edge and Aiden locked up in the center of the ring. He swung around behind Aiden into a waist lock. Aiden fought against Edge’s locked hands eventually breaking the hold and reversing into one of his own. Edge acted quickly and hip tossed the Champion to free himself. Edge followed Aiden to the mat keeping a firm hold on his wrist. Edge tried to use Aiden’s wrist to pull him up off the mat but Aiden grabbed a handful of hair. The referee stepped in and broke both men’s holds, shouting at Aiden about the rules while mocking pulling his own hair.

Mauro Ranallo: Aiden resulting to some cheap tactics early in this match!

Nigel McGuiness: He knew he needed the separation and he made it happen! Seems like a veteran move!

The two wrestlers met back in the center of the ring and locked up. This time Aiden took control by dragging Edge’s wrist and locking him into a shooter’s armbar. He applied pressure, leaning back into Edge’s shoulder and prying up on his arm. Edge screamed and grabbed at his shoulder. The referee asked Edge if he wanted to stop the match and Edge shook his head. Aiden took a step out and spun into a standing wrist lock. He spun around lifting Edge’s hand over his head and applying torque to the wrist. He jerked Edge’s hand down quickly and Edge yelled. Aiden snapped Edge’s hand a second time. Edge swung wildly to break the hold and Aiden ducked the strike. English kicked Edge in the gut and hit a snap DDT.

Nigel McGuiness: The World Champion is putting on a clinic.

Aiden grabbed Edge’s hair with both hands and started tugging him up off the mat. Edge hit an uppercut and then a chin breaker on Aiden. Edge covered. 1… Aiden kicked out and then rolled out of the ring. He draped his arm over the apron. Edge ran and hit a baseball slide that catapulted Aiden into the barricade. Edge sat up on the apron and held his arms out wide with a smile. The crowd cheered.

Mauro Ranallo: I’m not sure taking the time to play to the crowd is in Edge’s best interest.

Aiden pulled himself up on the barricade. Edge got a running start and went for a big boot but Aiden rolled out of the way and Edge found himself hung up on the barricade. Aiden stomped on Edge’s leg. He turned and walked around the ring. Edge was slow to follow. Aiden slid into the ring but a limping Edge made his way up the steps and ducked under the top rope. Aiden hit Edge with a knee strike before dragging him onto the middle rope and hitting a hanging neck breaker.

Nigel McGuiness: You can’t say he isn’t cunning.

Mauro Ranallo: Cunning or conniving?

Aiden covered. 1… 2… Edge kicked out at the last second. Aiden sat up and shouted at the referee, showing him how to count to three. The referee slapped his hand twice to show what the count was. A frustrated Aiden English slapped the mat and got to his feet. Aiden hovered over Edge and the referee gently tried to push him back. Aiden shrugged off the referee’s hand and stomped repeatedly. The referee took hold of Aiden’s shoulder and pulled him back a few steps. Aiden turned with a clenched fist, barely managing to hold back from striking the referee.

Mauro Ranallo: A fight with an EBWF referee is one not even the Champion could win!

Edge pulled himself up in the corner as Aiden continued to argue with the referee about the rules. Aiden turned as Edge ran toward him. At the last moment he pulled the referee in the way and Edge hit him with a huge spear!

Nigel McGuiness: Our official has been speared into oblivion!

Mauro Ranallo: MAMA MIA!

Edge knelt beside the referee to check on him but he barely moved. Edge tried to summon someone from backstage and then returned his focus to the ref. Aiden dropped down and clubbed Edge over the back of the neck. He continued his earlier stomping on Edge.

Mauro Ranallo: What disrespect from the EBWF World Champion!

Aiden let out a wicked smirk and then pointed toward the entrance ramp. He lifted Edge’s feet and slowly locked in a Sharpshooter. He sat down deep and Edge wailed out in pain. Edge was attempting to tap but the referee was out cold. Edge clawed and drug himself toward the ropes. After a ton of effort Edge took hold of the bottom rope and drug himself out of the ring.

Nigel McGuiness: Edge is free but the damage is done.

The referee was slowly getting to his feet. Meanwhile, Aiden was leaning in the corner resting. Outside the ring Edge used the ring to pull himself up. Aiden took off across the ring and attempted a baseball slide of his own but Edge caught his feet and pulled him out of the ring. The two wrestlers began to brawl outside the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: This is very quickly devolving into an all out fight!

Edge landed a big right, Aiden returned one of his own, Edge with another one that staggered Aiden. Aiden attempted a second right hand and Edge blocked it. Edge with a storm of right hands pushing Aiden back against the apron. Edge grabbed Aiden by the back of the neck and rolled him into the ring. Once inside the ring Aiden started backing to the far corner. Edge slid under the bottom rope and stalked him across the ring. Edge reached for Aiden. Aiden grabbed a hold of Edge’s hair and pulled him into the bottom turnbuckle face first. Edge staggered out of the corner and Aiden locked him in a side headlock. Edge fought to free himself, trying to push Aiden’s arms up. Aiden tightened his grip. Edge backed Aiden into the ropes and then shot him across the ring. Edge prepared for a back body drop a bit too early and Aiden used the position to set up for a suplex. Aiden rolled his legs around and lifted Edge to his feet. He hit a second suplex.

Mauro Ranallo: Aiden English once again channeling the spirit of his late father-in-law.

Aiden hauled Edge up and hit a third suplex to finish out the Three Amigos. He took hold of Edge’s wrist and ankle and dragged him toward the corner hurriedly. Aiden climbed out of the ring onto the apron and then up the corner. The crowd booed as Aiden posed from the top rope. He launched himself off for a frog splash. Edge tucked his knees up and Aiden came crashing down on them! Edge rolled Aiden off and into a cover. 1… 2… Aiden barely kicked out.

Nigel McGuiness: Edge almost stole a win off the high risk!

Mauro Ranallo: Edge is no stranger to that frog splash.
Edge walked to the opposite side of the ring and took hold of the corner. He motioned for Aiden to get up and the crowd went wild. Aiden slowly got to his feet using the turnbuckles. He stepped out of the ring, turned and SPEAR! Edge drove Aiden back down to the mat. Aiden bounced off the mat and instinctively rolled to the outside. He dropped off the apron with a thud. Edge draped his arm over where Aiden would have been and laid his head on the mat. An exhausted and bewildered Edge looked around when he realized Aiden wasn’t in a pinning position.

Mauro Ranallo: Edge can’t believe he didn’t just win this match.

Edge pulled himself to his knees and pulled at his hair. The referee started to count Aiden out. 1… 2… Edge used the corner to climb to his feet. 3… Aiden pulled himself up and leaned against the apron. 4… Edge rolled out of the ring on an adjacent side of the ring. 5… Edge ran around the outside of the ring toward Aiden. 6… Edge went for another spear. Aiden stepped to the side and Edge went head first into the steel steps! 7… Aiden stomped on Edge’s hand laying on the steps. 8… Aiden stomped on Edge’s back. 9… Aiden rolled under the bottom rope and right back out of the ring.

Nigel McGuiness: That’s our World Champion! He’s not content to win a match by countout!

Mauro Ranallo: I think he just wants to inflict more damage on Edge!

Aiden pulled Edge to his feet and bounced his head off the apron. He rolled Edge into the ring and followed. Aiden motioned to the crowd. A burst of static overtook the broadcast. Suddenly Aiden’s eyes darted around the ring. He looked at Edge laid out and withdrew in horror. The static returned and when it cleared Aiden’s vision was again focused on Edge. He pulled Edge back to his feet and hit a Director’s Cut. Aiden covered. 1… 2… 3!

Nigel McGuiness: The Champion wins!

Mauro Ranallo: What was that?

The referee went to the ropes and was handed the gold version of the EBWF World Title. He raised Aiden’s hand and presented the title to him. Aiden pulled his hand away and shook his head at the referee. He began shouting about his title.

Nigel McGuiness: That’s not Aiden’s belt!

Mauro Ranallo: And the mind games continue!

Aiden snatched the title away from the referee and pulled it close to his face. His eyes narrowed and then he threw the title on the mat. English stormed to the corner and started tearing the covers from the turnbuckles. He stopped after removing the top two and turned his attention to Edge. The crowd booed. Aiden marched to Edge and pulled him up to his feet. English whipped Edge into the corner hard enough to throw himself to the ground. Edge hit the exposed turnbuckles back first and arched in pain. Aiden picked up the Gold EBWF World Title and stared at it. He charged at Edge and hit him across the face with the belt. Aiden stood over Edge, breathing heavily. Static. A black screen. The show logo. Warfare went off the air.
