MATCH ONE

Mauro Ranallo: Good evening and welcome to Warfare! We are live from Minneapolis, Minnesota!

Nigel McGuinness: Kicking things off tonight, we've got my fellow countryman Pac in action as the self-proclaimed "bastard" goes one on one with "The Viper", Randy Orton!

"Gravity Lost" hit and the crowd booed as Pac made his way to the ring. When Pac was in the ring, "Counting Bodies Like Sheep" hit and the crowd cheered as Randy Orton stepped out onto the stage. Orton walked slowly down the ramp, then slid into the ring and glared at his opponent. The referee called for the bell and Orton charged towards Pac, hitting him with a series of punches. Orton then whipped Pac against the ropes, before hitting a snap scoop powerslam. Orton got to his feet and stomped on Pac several times, then hit a jumping knee drop. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Pac kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: A strong start by Randy Orton!

Orton pulled Pac to his feet and hit him with some more right hands, then whipped him into the corner. Orton charged towards Pac, hitting him with a clothesline, then sat him on the top turnbuckle. Orton set Pac up for a superplex, but Pac countered with a sunset flip powerbomb! Pac followed up with a standing moonsault, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... Orton kicked out!

Nigel McGuinness: Incredible athleticism there from one of the best high fliers in the world!

Mauro Ranallo: Is there any chance you could be slightly biased, Nigel?

Nigel McGuinness: Maybe so, Mauro, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong!

Pac pulled Orton to his feet and hit him with a series of punches, then lifted him up for a suplex. Both men got to their feet, and Pac whipped Orton against the ropes, before hitting a leg lariat. As Orton got to his feet, Pac hit a superkick, then climbed to the top rope. Pac went for the Black Arrow... but Orton moved out of the way! Both men got to their feet, and Orton hit an inverted headlock backbreaker, then back pounding the mat. Pac stumbled his feet, and Orton hit him with an RKO! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Mauro Ranallo: It's over! Randy Orton gets the victory!

Orton celebrated as Warfare went to commercial.

MATCH TWO

As Warfare returned from a commercial break, "Lo Horseman (Instrumental)" by Smoke DZA hit and Tessa Blanchard made his way to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Up next, we've got Tessa Blanchard in action as she goes one on one with the Irish Lass Kicker, Becky Lynch!

When Blanchard was in the ring, "Celtic Invasion" by CFO$ hit and the crowd cheered as Becky Lynch headed to the ring. After Lynch had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell and the two women locked up. Lynch put Blanchard in a headlock, but Blanchard fought out of it and whipped Lynch against the ropes, then hit a hip toss. As Lynch got to her feet, Blanchard hit a double arm suplex, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... Lynch kicked out! Blanchard pulled Lynch to her feet and whipped her into the corner, then ran at her, hitting a knee strike. As Lynch staggered forwards, Blanchard set her up for a DDT, but Lynch blocked it, then countered with a reverse STO into the corner. Lynch got to her feet and stomped on Blanchard several times, then climbed to the top rope and hit a diving leg drop. She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Blanchard kicked out!

Nigel McGuinness: Great back and forth action so far in this match!

Lynch got to her feet, pulled Blanchard towards the center of the ring and stomped on her some more, then locked in the Four-Leg Clover. Blanchard cried out in pain, but she was able to crawl towards the ropes and the referee ordered Lynch to break the hold. After Lynch had released her, Tessa Blanchard used the ropes to pull herself up. Lynch charged towards her, going for a clothesline, but Blanchard ducked out of the way and pulled down on the ropes, sending Lynch to the outside! As Lynch got to her feet, Blanchard ran against the ropes and charged towards Blanchard, hitting a...

Mauro Ranallo: Tope suicida!

Both women were down outside the ring, and the referee began counting. As the referee reached the count of five, Tessa Blanchard got to her feet and she grabbed Becky Lynch, dragging her to her feet and slamming her head off the ring apron. Blanchard then threw Lynch back into the ring. As Blanchard re-entered the ring, she charged towards Lynch, but Lynch took her down with a drop toe hold then locked in the Dis-arm-her! Blanchard put her foot on the ropes, and Lynch screamed in frustration as the referee ordered her to break the hold. As Lynch got to her feet, she grabbed Blanchard and set her up for the Manhandle Slam, but Blanchard blocked it and countered with a swinging neckbreaker. She then whipped Lynch into the corner and sat her on the top rope, before hitting the Magnum! She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Nigel McGuinness: It's over! An impressive victory for Tessa Blanchard!

Blanchard celebrated, then made her way to the back.

MATCH THREE

Mauro Ranallo: Up next, we've got the former World Champion Aiden English in action as he goes one on one with Tommaso Ciampa!

"Psycho Killer" by Talking Heads hit and the crowd booed as Ciampa made his way to the ring. When Ciampa was in the ring, "Moments" by Sevendust hit, and the crowd cheered in anticipation as they awaited an appearance from Aiden English... but English was nowhere to be seen.

Nigel McGuinness: What’s going on, Mauro? Where is Aiden English?

Mauro Ranallo: Well Nigel, I've just been informed that there's been an incident backstage... our cameramen are at the scene!

The camera cut backstage to Aiden English's locker room, where Chris Jericho was pummelling Aiden English! Referees and road agents were trying to separate the two men, but Jericho kept shoving them away.

Nigel McGuinness: What is Jericho doing? He's already tried to injure Aiden English once, is he trying to finish the job here?

Mauro Ranallo: He's the World Champion, isn't that enough? There is no justification for this!

Jericho pulled English to his feet and threw him against the wall. There was a sickening thud as English collided with the wall, and as English staggered backwards, blood was pouring down his face. Laughing, Jericho dragged English out of the locker room, taking him to the parking lot. Jericho was about to throw English into the production truck, but English fought back, hitting Jericho with a series of punches. Jericho began retreating, but as he walked towards the production truck, English trapped him in the corner. With nowhere to go, Jericho climbed onto the top of the production truck!

Nigel McGuinness: Jericho is a coward! Now Aiden English is fighting back, Jericho wants no part of it!

English followed Jericho to the top of the production truck then grabbed him, setting him up for the Director's Cut... but Jericho blocked it and threw Aiden English off the truck!

Mauro Ranallo: OH MY GOD!

The camera cut to the ground, where Aiden English was laid motionless. EMTs rushed to check on English as Warfare went to commercial.

MATCH FOUR

As Warfare returned from a commercial break, the camera cut to Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness at ringside.

Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back. Before the commercial break, Chris Jericho threw Aiden English off one of the production trucks in our parking lot. We understand that Aiden has been taken to a local medical facility and we will keep you updated on his condition. Up next though, our main event sees two former World Champions go head to head as Edge goes one on one with The Miz!

"AWWWWWEEEEESOMMMMMEEEE"

The crowd came alive once again as "I Came to Play" hit the PA and The Miz came to the ring in a long, bedazzled black trench coat and spun at the center of the stage before doing his trademark point out into the audience.

Mauro Ranallo: The Miz says he needs this match more than Edge, and that he's going to defeat the Rated R Superstar here tonight, Nigel.

Nigel McGuinness: To complicate matters, Edge has been on quite the tear lately, Mauro. There's no telling how this one will go.

After Miz was formally introduced "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge hit, and Edge came onto the stage, also donning his usual trench coat. He was wearing the EBWF Tag Team Championship belt around his waist, and threw up the horns as the fans were treated to full pyro. Edge was formally introduced and proceeded to the ring, surrendering his belt and his entrance gear to the ring techs at ringside. The bell rang.

Mauro Ranallo: And here we go.

The two men circled each other in the ring for a moment, before Edge took a step back and seemed to relax a little. Edge said something that wasn't picked up by the camera, but it made Miz nod, and Edge extended his hand. Miz accepted the handshake.

Nigel McGuinness: A display of sportsmanship there. Both of these men have been known to socialize together.

Mauro Ranallo: Socialize? I'd dare say they're friends. Edge was at The Miz's recent wedding!

Nigel McGuinness: Well, it looks like they're acknowledging each other's work right now.

They locked up, but despite the excitement of the crowd, they got nowhere, quickly breaking the hold. They circled the ring again and locked up. Edge backed Miz to the corner and Miz turned him, leaving Edge with his back to the corner. Miz went for a chop but Edge quickly turned things around on him again. Miz charged out of the corner, and they locked up. Edge got a waist lock. Edge hit a takedown and Miz quickly got back to his feet. The two men engaged in a stare down and the crowd went wild.

Mauro Ranallo: Stalemate!

Miz went to lock up with Edge, but Edge countered with a beautiful Northern Lights Suplex. Edge went for a pin.

1...

Kickout!

Nigel McGuinness: I can't remember the last time I saw Edge take a Northern Lights Suplex from the playbook, but Miz kicked out!

Edge got a side headlock on. Miz whipped him off but took a shoulder block. Edge taunted Miz and got a favorable reaction from the crowd. They locked up and Edge got a side headlock on again. Miz broke the hold and clubbed Edge down. Edge rolled out of the ring so Miz went for a baseball slide. Edge wasn't having a fight on the outside so he quickly got back in. Miz went to get in but Edge slid out, pulled Miz out, and sent him to the barricade.

Mauro Ranallo: And that's why they call him the ultimate opportunist!

Edge forearmed Miz and sent him back into the ring. Edge hit some punches and whipped him to the corner. Edge charged, avoided Miz when he tried to counter with a boot, by sliding out of the ring! Then Edge swept the feet pulling Miz under the bottom rope. Edge punched Miz on the apron and went to get back in but Miz kneed him in the face. Miz sent him into the ring post and Edge fell to ringside.

Nigel McGuinness: This is getting a little nasty, Mauro.

Miz helped Edge up and yelled "Get in there!" as he whipped him back under the bottom rope. Miz followed after and dropped some elbows to the back of Edge's neck. Miz stayed on him, applying the chin lock. Edge fought up with Elbows, but Miz slammed him back down by the hair. The referee yelled at Miz to "Watch the hair!", so Miz let go and went into the ropes. He hit a running boot to Edge's face for the cover.

2...

Kickout!

Edge quickly went to the ropes, but Miz followed after despite Edge hooking an arm over the bottom rope. The referee called Miz off, and Miz put his hands up in surrender, allowing Edge to get to his feet, before charging him into the corner and laying into him with punches. The referee had to back Miz up, and he complied, but when Edge tried to make his way out of the corner, Miz charged again with a nasty clothesline. Miz went to the top rope and attempted a double axe handle but Edge counters into a flapjack.

Mauro Ranallo: What an onslaught from the Miz.

Nigel McGuinness: The Miz is clearly frustrated here, Mauro.

Both men were down now. The Miz was the first up and he came back in with punches. Edge finally ducked one and hit a Russian Leg Sweep. Edge was growing furious and punched Miz until he was forced to duck. Miz went into the ropes, and came back with momentum missing a big boot. Edge hit a pair of clotheslines before having a whip reversed on him. Edge countered a scoop slam attempt into the Edge-O-Matic.

2...

Kickout!

Mauro Ranallo: Miz kicked out! How did he do that?

Edge kept on him and went for the Edgecution but Miz countered into a backbreaker.

2...

Kickout!

Miz was livid, and got to his feet. Frustration and determination mixed in his emotions as he waited, taunting for the Skull Crushing Finale. But just as Edge stood up and Miz had his hands on him, Edge countered into the Edgecution!

Nigel McGuinness: What? That was flawless.

Edge backed up into the corner and crouched low, taunting Miz to get up. Miz was unsteady to his feet, and Edge ripped forward and leveled him with the spear.

Mauro Ranallo: Spear! Spear! This should be it right here!

Edge hooked the leg.

3!

Mauro Ranallo: It's over. Edge wins it.

Edge stood and allowed his hand to be raised in victory as Metalingus played in the background. He stood up on the turnbuckle, and then as he was climbing down he noticed Miz moving to a seated position on the mat. Edge went to him and extended his hand, leaning over to pat Miz on the back for a job well done. Miz accepted Edge's hand and allowed Edge to help him up, but as soon as he was on his feet.

Nigel McGuinness: Wait a minute!

Miz charged Edge and threw him over the top rope. Edge landed awkwardly on the outside and the crowd was stunned into silence.

Mauro Ranallo: What is he doing?

Miz followed Edge to the outside and mounted him, picking his head up by the hair and laying punches into his face. Miz helped Edge stumble up and draped him back first against the barricade before laying knife edge chops into his chest. The crowd began to boo, but burst into nuclear heat when Miz whipped Edge into the steel steps at ringside. Edge crumpled in a heap, defenseless.

Nigel McGuinness: Someone needs to come out here and put a stop to this.

Miz walked over to the time keeper's area, and without hesitating, he grabbed the EBWF Tag Title and returned to the hard camera side of the ring. Edge had ambled to his feet again, and Miz charged, hitting him at full speed with the title belt. The crowd started a furious "You Suck" chant. Miz dropped the title and helped Edge to his feet again, forcing him back into the ring, before going back over to the time keeper's area and grabbed a steel chair.

Mauro Ranallo: Oh, no no no. No, Miz, don't do it. Don't do it Miz.

Miz got into the ring with the chair and stood over Edge for a moment. Then he looked malevolently toward the weapon in his hand and picked Edge's head up by the hair again. He horse collared Edge's neck with the chair, and the boos grew louder as he stood up and surveyed the defenseless man.

"GO BACK TO SLEEP!"

The boos turned to cheers, and Miz's head whipped toward the entrance ramp as Randy Orton came running from behind the curtain. However, when he slid into the ring, his music cut off and the arena was filled with the sound of a frantic voice.

Female Voice: Mike!

The crowd popped when a distraught looking Mickie James came onto the stage, one hand up, pleading. The other holding a microphone to her lips. Randy Orton between her and her husband, seething and pacing.

Mickie James: Randy, Randy... whatever you're about to do. Please. Mike, what are you doing? Baby, what is happening?

Mickie slid into the ring under the bottom rope. Orton looking coiled and ready to strike Miz at any time.

Mickie James: This isn't you. You...

Miz paced, and then went to lift his foot, as if he was going to slam it down on the chair. Randy jerked forward.

Mickie James: Mike! Randy... Randy... hold on. Hold on. Mike, stop this. You can still stop this.

Mickie's microphone caught Randy saying a simple command.

Randy Orton: Back up. Now.

Miz didn't heed the warning, and his face screwed into a cocky grin.

Randy Orton: I'm gonna drop him where he stands, Mick. I'm gonna drop his ass.

The Miz, a full 4 inches shorter and 30lbs lighter, wasn't fazed as he stepped up to Randy.

The Miz: Oh, you're gonna drop my ass? You're gonna drop my ass?! Do it tough guy, com'on.

Mickie James: Mike, don't do this!

Miz turned to Mickie and snatched the microphone out of her hand. Not taking his eyes off of her as he tossed the microphone out of the ring. This had been a mistake, because the second he turned around...

Mauro Ranallo: RKO! RKO! The Miz is down and... Nigel, look.

With the threat of Miz subdued, the crowd popped once again as their attention turned to the entrance and Trish Stratus ran to the ring even though she was wearing skinny jeans tucked into high heeled boots. She charged in under the bottom rope to Edge's side, and began taking the chair from around his neck. Mickie immediately began apologizing.

Nigel McGuinness: These women have been friends for over 15 years.

Trish looked up at Mickie with contempt.

Trish Stratus: Get your man. Get him out of here.

Mickie shook her head, distraught, and then moved beside Miz who was slowly rolling out of the ring to the outside.

Nigel McGuinness: What has happened here? What was The Miz thinking? Friendships have imploded. Trish Stratus... I mean... Trish Stratus shouldn't even be out here, Mauro. They don't...

Mauro Ranallo: Fans who follow EBWF News on the internet probably know that Trish Stratus and Edge are widely rumored to be a couple, but yes, Nigel, this isn't something they play out on television. You're right. What has Miz done?

Nigel McGuinness: He should have to answer for this!

An "Edge" chant went up from the crowd as EMTs brought a stretcher from the back and began to load Edge onto it. Trish and Randy remained by his side as Warfare went off the air.
