MATCH ONE

Mauro Ranallo: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to EBWF Warfare.

Pyro went off on cue, and the fans inside the Chesapeake Energy Arena cheered.

Nigel McGuinness: Just a month away from Fanniversary, and things are heating up. The Breakout Championship is on the line tonight, and we'll see if Tomohiro Ishii can retain in a ladder match!

Mauro Ranallo: First we have singles action, where the mysterious Luchasaurus will take on the unapproachable Tommaso Ciampa.

Ciampa's theme hit, and he came to the ring during a picture in picture, while the crowd at home got clips of Luchasaurus' most recent promo. Luchasaurus was out to the ring next, and the refree rang the bell to start the opening bout. Luchasaurus opened up with offense. Ciampa quickly came back, but his opponent was ready for him. Luchasaurus sent Ciampa outside the ring and into the guardrail. Luchasaurus didn't follow after though, instead waiting for Ciampa, who made his way back inside. Ciampa came back on the offense slamming Luchasaurus on the mat. Luchasaurus tried to come back, but Ciampa countered with a slam. Luchasaurus came back with chops to the chest and a clothesline. He followed up with a leg sweep and the crowd applauded a stunning moonsault press. Luchasaurus attempted a chockeslam, but Ciampa blocked it. Both men traded some punches and battled each other onto the second rope. Ciampa superplexed Luchasaurus. Ciampa went for the cover.

Nigel McGuinness: What!?

Mauro Ranallo: What a clever dino! Ciampa can't believe it.

Nigel McGuinness: Crafty. Luchasaurus is the victor here tonight.

MATCH TWO

As EBWF returned from commercial, Lacey Evans was already in the ring when 'Celtic Invasion' hit and the crowd booed Becky Lynch.

Mauro Ranallo: And here she comes! The woman who says she's the rightful women's champion.

Nigel McGuinness: It seems she might be screaming into the void on this one. Trish Stratus seems to have moved on.

Mauro Ranallo: We'll see if Lacey Evans can knock Becky down a few pegs here.

Becky rolled into the ring, not allowing the referee to ring the bell before immediately nailing a dropkick and unloading on Lacey in the corner. The referee backed her off, but Becky grabbed Lacey by the shoulders and tossed her to the mat. Becky hit a basement dropkick. Becky took Evans back down and Evans scrambled to the floor for a breather.

Nigel McGuinness: Lacey trying to figure out the puzzle that is Becky Lynch.

Becky ran the ropes and hit a baseball slide. Evans grabbed Becky on the floor but Becky countered and sent her into the barrier. Evans pleaded with Becky and tried jumping over the barrier but Becky grabbed her and slammed her face-first into the apron. Becky brought it back in. She charged but Lacey side-stepped and tried to send her face-first into the corner. Becky avoided it but Lacey kept on and finally got some offense in. Evans worked on Becky's arm and talked some trash while she was down. Evans stomped away on Becky's hand now.

Mauro Ranallo: Lacey Evans trying to give it as good as she got it.

Evans followed through with a Gator Roll into the corner. She continued working on the arm, using the ring post on it as the referee counts. Evans left the corner as not to be disqualified. Lacey got more offense and another pin attempt. She kept Becky grounded and taunted her. Becky got an arm drag but Evans came right back with a neckbreaker and a 2 count. Evans pulled a handkerchief out of her top and wiped her sweat off, then rubbed the handkerchief in Becky's face!

Mauro Ranallo: What an insult!

Becky came back swinging, and dropped Lacey with a kick. Becky came off the top with a flying forearm and Lacey went back down. Becky mounted more offense, and hit the Bexplex, followed by a shot in the corner. Becky came off the top and hit a dropkick. Evans rolled to the floor for a breather but Becky came off the apron and took her down. Becky brought it back in for a close 2 count.

Nigel McGuinness: Becky is frustrated!

The women locked up, and Evans dropped Becky on her face, before following up with a knee for a 2 count. Lacey rolled Becky up but Becky shifted her weight to roll through, and went right into the Dis-Arm-Her. Lacey tried to hold on, but was forced to tap.

Nigel McGuinness: That submission has them tapping every time. Another win for Becky Lynch!

Becky's arm was raised in victory as a promo for Fanniversary began to play.

MATCH THREE

Mauro Ranallo: Up next, it's time for our main event! Tomohiro Ishii defends the Breakout Championship in a ladder match!

"Dead Silent" by Def Rebel hit and the crowd booed as Killer Kross made his way to the ring. Darby Allin was out next, followed by Paul London. Finally, "Stone Pitbull" hit and the crowd cheered as Tomohiro Ishii headed to the ring.

Nigel McGuinness: Tomohiro Ishii made it clear that he was not happy about having to defend his title against three other men in a ladder match... I think he saw it as a lack of respect.

Mauro Ranallo: Well it's clear the EBWF Universe respect him, Nigel, and so they should. He has been impressive since signing for EBWF, and win or lose tonight I am sure Tomohiro Ishii is destined for great things.

Once Ishii was in the ring, the referee called for the bell and the four superstars stared across the ring at one another. Kross charged towards Ishii, taking him down with a big boot. Across the ring, Paul London and Darby Allin were exchanging punches. Allin was able to gain the upper hand, and he set London up for a DDT, but London blocked it, countering with a northern lights suplex.

Mauro Ranallo: That DDT was well scouted by Paul London... although being a time traveller, he does have an advantage when it comes to predicting what his opponents will do!

London ran over to Killer Kross, who was stomping on Ishii, and jumped on his back, applying a sleeper hold. Kross fought out of it and lifted London onto his shoulder, then slammed him onto Tomohiro Ishii. At this point, Darby Allin re-entered the ring with a ladder and he charged towards Kross, hitting him with the ladder and knocking him down. Allin then set the ladder up in the center of the ring and began climbing. As he neared the top of the ladder, Ishii and London both got to their feet and they quickly grabbed the ladder, pushing it over. Allin fell off the ladder, landing on the mat.

Nigel McGuinness: That looked painful... but we know how resilient Darby Allin is! He puts his body on the line every time he steps into the ring.

London went to grab the ladder and set it back up underneath the title but before he could do so, Ishii grabbed him, hitting a snap suplex. Ishii then began to climb the ladder, but before he could reach the top, Killer Kross got to his feet and he began climbing the ladder also. As Ishii reached up for the title, Kross hit him with a body shot, causing Ishii to stumble. Kross then hit Ishii with several more punches, trying to knock him off the ladder, but Ishii kept his balance and grabbed Kross, hitting him with a headbutt! Kross fell off the ladder, and Ishii reached up for the title once more, but this time Paul London grabbed his leg, stopping him from reaching the title.

Mauro Ranallo: Ishii almost had the match one, but the Breakout Title remains out of his grasp!

London pulled Ishii off the ladder, then whipped him into the corner. London ran at Ishii, hitting him with a corner dropkick, then hit Ishii with a superkick. London climbed to the top rope, and was about to hit Ishii with a Shooting Star Press... but Darby Allin shoved him off the turnbuckle! London landed on the outside, and Darby Allin got to the top rope. He went to hit Ishii with a Coffin Drop... but Ishii got his knees up and blocked it!

Nigel McGuinness: A great block by Tomohiro Ishii!

As Ishii got to his feet, so too did Killer Kross. The two men stared each other down, then began exchanging punches. Kross was able to overpower Ishii, and he set Ishii up for the Doomsday Saito Suplex... but Ishii blocked it, then hit Kross with a German suplex! Both men got to their feet, and Ishii grabbed Kross once again, this time hitting him with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster! With all three of his opponents down, Ishii climbed the ladder once more, and this time he was able to retrieve the title. The referee called for the bell.

Mauro Ranallo: It's over! Tomohiro Ishii proves again that he is a fighting champion!

Nigel McGuinness: What a match!

Ishii celebrated his victory as Warfare went off the air.
