FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RANDY ORTON BECOMES EBWF'S LONGEST REIGNING SINGLES CHAMPION

SAINT LOUIS, MISSOURI, January 2021 - EBWF, Inc. announced today that on January 6, 2021, professional wrestler and EBWF Superstar, Randy Orton, became the longest reigning singles champion in EBWF history during his ongoing Gateway Championship run which has lasted a staggering 444 days and counting.

Orton breaks the previous record held by retired EBWF Superstar, PJ Black, who held the same championship (then known as the Path to Glory Championship) for 438 days. Black's historic run ended in him cashing in the championship for an opportunity at the World Title at Fanniversary 2017 where he became EBWF World Champion.

Orton signed with EBWF in 2008, and has held many championships in his rise to prominence. He is currently one half of the EBWF Tag Team Champions with long time tag team partner, Edge, and in 2010 became the longest reigning EBWF Champion of all time, a record he still holds to this day.
