“Lately Allen has been back to his old self, a pretty good father and the man that set goals and accomplished them. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finally won the World Championship at Wrestlemania. He deserves it.” –Wendy Jones
“Just because it’s not the main event doesn’t make it any less important for him. He wants to win the big one, regardless of the spot on the card. It’s now or never for him.” – Jason Reso
___________________________________________________________________
Warfare was over or at least he thought it was, but he didn’t stay to see the return of Randy Orton. AJ Styles had just been in a brutal cage match with Mr. Kennedy and afterwards was kicked out of Trilogy, being busted open the hardway by Ted DiBiase. As far as Allen Jones was concerned he and Mike both built the best possible hype that they could around their WrestleMania match. Over the weeks leading up to tonight it all began to affect their off screen relationship. Mike was actually dating Layla, his ex-girlfriend and quite possibly the love of his life, and it bothered him to a certain extent. Kayfabe, he would call her every sort of disrespectful name he could, but in actuality he was somewhat happy for her. Even though Mike was a douchebag to others, AJ always viewed him as a pretty good guy deep down and Layla needed a guy that would truly care for her. So you could say he was happy for the two, but when it was time for the camera to roll, he would hate them both. AJ said nothing to anyone after their segment concluded and he left the arena after cleaning up. He was on his way to Gainesville, Georgia to spend some time with his kids before the big WrestleMania weekend. He hadn’t really been able to spend the time he wanted to with them and it was always eating away at his conscious. He’d like to think of himself as a good father, but leave it to his ex-wife to let you know how much of a deatbeat he is.
During the flight home he found out that their match would now be moved to the Co-Main Event spot and they would now be going on before Kendrick and Orton’s Hell in a Cell match. It didn’t bother him really; all he wanted was to win. He needed this more than anything at the moment and this was quite possible the only opportunity to solidify himself as a true superstar in the EBWF. The World Championship had eluded him for so long and he was completely determined on finally accomplishing his ultimate goal in winning the most coveted belt in professional wrestling. It felt like a long flight for him, seeing as he would usually get shitfaced drunk and allow his intoxication to take over the clock. Being sober is a bitch, and that’s what he thought each time he had to turn down a drink from the beautiful flight attendants. He wanted to be pure and clean again, no matter what sort of withdrawal he had to go through. He wanted to be the man the definition of a true World Champion. Upon arrival at the airport he expeditiously found the nearest taxi and headed home for a good night’s rest.
Finally making it there early in the morning hours he wasted no time going straight to his bedroom. He had cleared his mind of his big match with Mike at WrestleMania and was ready to get some rest. Without even turning a single light on he came out of his clothes and jumped into his big comfortable bed with the sleep taking over him instantaneously.
He didn’t sleep long. It must have been his self-conscious, but he attempted to cuddle with Lauren, only to wake up and realize she wasn’t there. His heart sunk to his stomach, thinking about what had just transpired between the two of them. Trust was something that he believed was important in any relationship and he could honestly say that there wasn’t a single person who he could actually trust in his life at that very moment. Lauren used and deceived him to get further in life. Mike used and deceived him to get further in the business and Layla… was just promiscuous and didn’t know what she wanted in life.
Tossing and turning for a while he had finally managed to get some rest, waking up around 10am. He took a good shower before heading out to his hometown gym to work out. There was a lot riding on this match at WrestleMania, so it seemed like a good idea to go back to his roots and see exactly what he needed to do to be at his physical peak. Regardless of the lifestyle he led, he had always managed to stay in a gym. The guys were all happy to see him and get a chance to work with him again. They pushed him to his limits and showed him things that he would have to watch for against Mike. This gave AJ a bit more confidence in himself and his regimen. It felt good to be fit and have tons of energy, with a great game plan, instead of constantly partying and feeling like a slouch from smoking so much pot and not having a clue what you’re gonna do next. After a few hours of training he finished up and left to grab a bite to eat at one of his favorite spots. Everyone knew who he was and was giving him a ton of support, inside the diner. Once leaving he walked casually down the busy little sidewalk in the shopping plaza. People spoke to him enthusiastically in his passing and he would cheerfully greet each and every one of them. A lot spoke on his WrestleMania match and wished him luck, even though he remained humble the entire time.
After signing a few autographs for some children AJ was now on the road, making his way his ex-wife home, which he paid for, to see his own children. When he arrived, Wendy Jones greeted him in the usual ungenerous way as he was now accustomed to. There had been hard feelings between the two of them since the Divorce and EBWF signing. AJ just wanted to live his dreams and accomplish the goals he set for himself a decade ago. Now, he just wanted to see his kids and he did just that, regardless of the love-lost. He loved his three boys dearly and was so jolly around them. He was nothing like the guy they saw on TV. Indeed, the boys watch EBWF programming each week and the make sure to always bombard him with questions anytime he’s around.
Ajay: “Daddy, can we go to WrestleMania?!?! I wanna go. Please. Please. Please.”
The most charismatic of the three always wanted answers to the craziest questions.
Avery: “Why Uncle Mike beat you up?”
The youngest was always meek about everything and didn’t speak a lot. He was probably the shyest of the three, but Avery spoke enough for them all.
Avery: “Daddy, you gonna fight Uncle Mike at wrestlevanias? He gon beat you up again?”
AJ could do nothing more but feed them the self-satisfying answers they needed to hear. But when Avery got going, it was sort of hard to stop him, thus leading lil’ Ajay to join in.
Avery: “Why was Uncle Mike kissing yo girlfriend?”
Ajay: “That’s not Daddy’s girlfriend. Stupid. His girlfriend is the skinny blonde bimbo. “
AJ looked at his oldest son as with a questionable expression and quickly received an answer.
Ajay: “That’s what mommy calls her.”
Avery: “Mommy also said we might as well not go to wrestlevanias, because you’re gonna lose to Uncle Mike anyway.”
That hurt, but AJ blew it off and still gave them the reassuring answers they needed to hear. Mommy was a bitter woman, so he knew he didn’t want to start an argument. She probably said really nasty things about him to his sons when he wasn’t around, but it didn’t bother him. He didn’t want to mention a single word on what he planned on doing once he was finally In the ring with Uncle Mike, because that would be the wrong example to set for his kids. After enjoying the few hours or so he was there, he finally made his way back to his home to begin packing for the big upcoming weekend. He would be on a plane in the morning and wanted to be ready for the trip. This would be his first time being booked by the EBWF to have hotel accommodations at the Four Seasons, in a five star suite. He was used to being placed in a shitty room with the rest of the roster, only to watch guys like Miz, Kendrick, Jericho, Orton, and Punk have the best options avalible. AJ would always spend his own money on a good room, just to keep up the appearance. Last year Punk referred to him as a wolf in sheep’s clothing, because of all the designer suits he blew his money on. It got worse when he and The Miz were put into a stable program. Dress to impress every night was something like their motto and they delivered on it, without a doubt. All the expensive vices he juggled was beginning to catch up with him and he truly noticed when came across the unopened stack of mail on the table near the front door. Browsing through a few of the unpaid bills he knew there was no way he could remain staying in this overly-expensive condo. Winning the Intercontinental title and the Royal Rumble gave him a little added bonus that he would be able to use in case of an emergency like this, but he had already blew through half of it, celebrating with Trilogy. An abundance is what Mike Mizanin knew about AJ’s personal life. There was no doubt that he would publicly blast AJ’s past displays of ignorance the first chance he got. AJ’s problems with drugs, alcohol, parties, expensive clothes, cars, Women and more would all be great ammunition for him to use at his advantage.
The road to change was going to be a tough one and he was already on the right path. Nothing could be said or done to further him back onto the trails of corruption. He was going to go out and hire himself an accountant and begin a budget, so he would never be in another situation like this one. Unpaid bill after bill was all AJ seen and he knew that if he didn’t win the World Championship this Sunday, then he might as well not even return home, because he wouldn’t be able to afford it.

Sweetmeat: ”You are listening to K-SHE ’95 real, rock, radio, and I am your host Sweetmeat here with my college U-Man.”
U-Man: “Yeah and we are now rocking your mornings! That was Wherever I may Roam by Metallica you just finished listening to and here in the studio with us now is the man who will be introduced by Metallica this Sunday night at EBWF’s WrestleMania Eleven. He is also the man who will be competing for the Heavyweight Championship of the World, The Phenomenal AJ Styles! Welcome to the show!”
Sweetmeat: ”Welcome to the show, AJ!”
AJ Styles: “Thanks for having me… Sweetmeat and U-man… And people talk about wrestlers having weird names.”
Sweetmeat: “Funny, but my name actually means something.”
AJ Styles: “I really don’t want to know.”
U-Man: “Trust me, you really don’t.”
Sweetmeat:”Anyway, the EBWF is in town all weekend to promote the biggest event of the year, which will be held in the Edward Jones Dome. You, AJ Styles are going to be fighting in the Main Event, am I right?”
AJ Styles: “Well, this year’s Wrestlemania is so big that we actually have two Main Event matches. First, there’s the World Championship match between The Miz and myself and then there’s the Hell in a Cell match between Randy Orton and Brian Kendrick.”
U-Man: “Wow, that’s going to be nuts!”
AJ Styles: “I know right. Kendrick and Orton are two of the biggest names in the industry and are two of the most violent men on the roster at the moment and they’ll be clashing head to head inside the most violent structure ever made. My match with The Miz will be completely different compared to theirs. We will be facing off in a standard wrestling match, meaning the first person to gain a pinfall or submission is victorious with the winner walking away as World Champion. If you come out to the Edwards Jones Dome this Sunday or order the event on pay per view, I promise you that you will be in store for a five star wrestling showcase. The entire card is stacked from top to bottom and I for one think the Ikeda’s have truly outdone themselves. The young guys are going to open up the show in a match that I think could possibly be the match of the night, seeing as the three are so talented. The two women’s matches seem very promising and I’m always entertained by our ladies. Who can deny Torrie Wilson and Kelly Kelly in a cat fight? Come on! We also have CM Punk and Chris Jericho teaming up for the first time ever for a shot at the Tag Team Championships. It’s definitely going to be one for the ages.”
Sweetmeat: “Let’s talk about your match with The Miz for the World Championship. From what I can recall I thought you two were friends. Is this match going to be about friendly competition or has it become personal?”
AJ Styles: “Obviously, you don’t tune in enough to know what has been going down. I will say this, we were friends or at least that’s what I thought before he stabbed me in the back. I can’t say I didn’t expect it, but to answer your question, it is completely personal now.”
Sweetmeat: “Is that because he stabbed you in the back or is sleeping with your ex? “
AJ Styles:”A little of both I guess. But it’s really personal because The Miz is the man with the World Championship. Him turning on me and sleeping with ex is just simple ploys he uses to try and seek some sort of advantage. Layla is old news, I’m over her. The attack this Monday is old news, because I’m a hundred percent now. I’m going to be in that ring this Sunday at my best, nevertheless and I’m telling the world right here, right now live on K-SHE ’95 real, rock, radio. I’m walking out of WrestleMania this Sunday as the new EBWF Champion.”
U-Man: “You two will be colliding in what many see a dream rematch from the one you two had last year. Your thoughts on that?”
AJ Styles:”I wouldn’t call it a dream rematch. Last year Miz had just returned to the ring from a brief hiatus and I was able to soundly defeat him. I’m not making any excuses for him, but he was rusty and I was at the top of my game, like I am now, so to me it was no shocker that I was able to defeat him. Just like It won’t be a shocker in 3 days. The crazy thing is I’m one of the only guys in the locker room that has pinned Miz since he has returned. He’s been on a major role since he returned and topped it all off by winning the World Championship, the richest prize in our business. So much of a role that he has allowed his ego to get the best of him. The guy thinks he’s bigger than Lebron James all of a sudden everyone should bow to him. I don’t fear him at all and I’m certainly not intimidated by his braggadocio demenor. I know without a shadow of a doubt that I can defeat him. This rematch between the two of us is sure to be a classic. It might even be nominated for a Slammy next year.”
U-Man: “Speaking of the Slammy’s, rumor has it you won’t be attending. Care to shed any light on that?”
AJ Styles: “I won’t just say that. Who knows you might see me there as a presenter or something, but I wasn’t nominated for anything so I’m not obligated to be there.”
U-Man: “Wes Ikeda, the CEO of EBWF posted on twitter that you made Miz look good all year, so consider it a nomination.”
Sweetmeat: “Does that bother you at all? Not being nominated for awards that you are clearly qualified for and having your boss belittle you like that.”
AJ Styles: “No, it doesn’t. Wes Ikeda and I haven’t always seemed eye to eye, but we have a way of being straightforward with one another. So, his remarks motivate me more than they would seemingly discourage. A Slammy is just another gold trophy to me. I have a ton of those at my grams house. I’m focused on winning the gold belt at the moment and nothing else really matters. Besides, guys like CM Punk and Brian Kendrick had a great year in 2011 and if anyone deserves to be awarded for their work it’s them. This business is like a revolving door. You have to wait your turn. I have been patient and it has paid off well for me. Not only am I finally getting a shot at the Championship, but it’s going to be on the biggest stage in the world. What more could I possibly ask for?”
U-Man: “An entrance performance from Metallica?”
AJ Styles: “That doesn’t hurt either. The guys were glad that I decided to use the song once again. It was my entrance theme in Ring of Honor a while back and it felt like the perfect song for my persona in the EBWF. I’m still trying to come to terms with coming out to 70,000 fans with Metallica hyping me up for the biggest fight of my life. It’s unbelievable and I truly am excited about it all.”
U-Man: “Can you tell us why people should come out to see you two throw down for the World Championship in the EJ Dome this Sunday?”
AJ Styles: “Like I said earlier, it will be a classic. The Miz and I both know each other very well and in the ring we are both brilliant at what we do. This match has everything you could ask for in a big match scenario. Broken friendship, forbidden love, lies, betrayal, and revenge all in one. Being at WrestleMania is like the icing on the cake and a warranty that the match is going to be off the charts. So, with that being said this is more than a match, it’s a fight and everything is up for grabs. If you’re a wrestling fan, old or new, you won’t wanna miss this.”
Sweetmeat: “Thanks for joining us this morning, AJ. I want to wish you the best of luck in you upcoming match against The Miz. Anything you want to say before we rock out to more jams?”
AJ Styles: “Thanks for having me on the show guys. This has been The Phenomenal One, Mr. EBWF himself, and next World Champion, AJ Styles. If you’re in St. Louis this weekend, come on down to the Fan Access weekend and the Slammy awards to be a part of Wrestlemania weekend. The glitz, the glamor, the granger, and all of your favorite EBWF Superstars will be there. But will you?”
U-Man: “You heard it! EBWF has taken over St. Louis for the entire weekend and it’s sure to be a damn good one. WrestleMania has been sold out since last year, but we have some of those sold out tickets that we will be giving away today on the show. If you can’t watch it live, be sure to order it on pay per view, because I guarantee it will be one show you won’t wanna miss.”
Sweetmeat: “Now let’s get back to the jams, right here on K-SHE ’95 real, rock, radio. Let’s keep our theme for this morning alive. Here is Counting Bodies like Sheep by A Perfect Circle.“
____________________________________________________________________
That Thursday evening the EBWF talent was able to use the production team at their disposal for promos and video packages to hype their matches just a bit more before the event. AJ Styles had arrived an hour early to begin working on his promo since he had a ton of ideas about how he wanted it to go down. After working with the crew and camera techs they had finalized what they were going to do and allowed AJ Styles to begin when he was comfortable. He was dressed in a solid black suit. Not an expensive one like usual, but more of the type you would wear to a funeral. He was sitting on a steel chair in front of a green screen. On the display monitor it showed what the rest of the world would see and in that scene things were a bit different.
Styles appeared as a complete wreck. His face was unshaven and his hair was messy along with his attire. The picture was in black and white and instead of a steel chair it was now a throne he was sat on. When he spoke his voice was crackly and cold.
AJ Styles: ”I’m not satisfied. This throne means nothing without the crown.”
He looked up into the capture of the camera.
AJ Styles: “Winning the Royal Rumble means nothing without winning the World Championship at WrestleMania. There have been a total of ten rumble matches, myself being in the last and winning. Only five of the former winners went on to WrestleMania to win the World Championship and immortalize themselves.”
In the background of Styles massive audiences and past WrestleMania events could be seen on the green screen behind him.
AJ Styles: “But there is always what if? That’s the single question each and every wrestler struggles with throughout their entire career. What if I’m not good enough? What if I lose? What if I never get another opportunity? These are some of the things us wrestlers bottle down deep within and constantly scold ourselves with. But we don’t ask ourselves the important questions. What if there was no tomorrow? What if the world as we know it ceased to exist at this moment? What if the apocalypse came before WrestleMania even made it. I wouldn’t have the chance to become the World Champion and the road I’ve been on lately, would be the preverbal highway to hell.”
The black and white picture change to normal tones and the screen now displayed a green field and a castle with seven gates.
AJ Styles: “Christianity was the religion I used to practice. Now, I’m strictly a spiritual being. I believe there’s a God and likewise Satan. Just as I believe in Heaven and Hell… Without repenting before this apocalypse, my faith would be sealed and Hell would be my destination. I wouldn’t be able to remain in Limbo for long because of my sins and I would be confined to what some like to refer as one of the nine circles of The Inferno. If so, which one?”
Images of Wes Ikeda were shown on the screen behind Styles playing beautiful music on his guitar.
AJ Styles: “The guy at the gate. He would be the one to sentence each soul to one of the eight circles below. Ironic? I like to think so.”
The gates of Hell open in the background and the scene changes dramatically to a very violent sound of storms and strong winds now blow against Styles.
AJ Styles: “The first circle would be too nice for my damned soul. But you would certainly find a certain Ex-Girlfriend of mine by the name of Layla El in the wind. She has been overcome by the power of lust and if we made it to WrestleMania she would do anything in her power to keep me from beating new lover for his championship. I have never condoned violence against women. But what if she did interfere? I would have no other choice than to put her in her place, because it had absolutely nothing to do with her.”
Images of Layla El could be seen in the background of the strong winds before changing to the next circle of Hell, where there’s a vile slush produced by ceaseless foul, icy rain.
AJ Styles: “This circle would’ve been my destination, but I have been able to overcome past addictions. Kelly Kelly would’ve been here but she was able to do the same as I and overcome gluttony. Now she is stuck to spend eternity with Layla. I’m only kidding. Seriously, I’m not proud of some of the things I’ve done and I’ve always found a way to make myself look like a total tool, but I’m really not the scumbag I am know to be. I don’t need drugs to perform better. I’m one of the most naturally gifted men to ever lace up a pair of wrestling boots. When I was young I never intended to be a professional wrestler. I wanted to be a cop. I wanted to put bad guys behind bars and help people who were in danger. My friends thought I was a dumbass for wanting to be a cop, so they finally talked me into coming to their wrestling classes, which my other friends thought was even worse. I never expected to be as talented as I am. I never expected to be the greatest in the galaxy. It was a gift. One I thank god for whenever I can.“
The screen changed to a swamp-like river, where zombie-like creatures fought each other on the surface, and the sullen souls who lost lie gurgling beneath the water. AJ could now be seen sitting in what appeared to be a boat as he traveled across the river.
AJ Styles: “The things I’ve gone through as of late could have led me to this fate. I admit that I have been overwhelmed with anger lately. I dare say cynical at times. The Miz has pushed me to a place where I’ve only been once before. There have been many times when I’ve wanted to explode and hurt him. He has gotten into my mind just as Brian Kendrick once did, but the only difference is this time, I have been able to contain my rage. It has manifested into determination. Determination to rid myself of all the irrelevant baggage in my existence, in order to have a better one.”
The next image was of screaming souls that are trapped in flaming tombs. Then of the next circle where images of Brian Kendrick were shown as if he was the guardian.
AJ Styles: “When things get personal, I tend to become a very violent man. I have been in some very dark situations in my life and I regret some of the things I’ve done to others. I’ve intentionally hurt people like Justin Gabriel, Velvet Sky, and John Cena who I once called friends, all in order to get ahead in the business. If I was to be damned anywhere it would be this river of boiling blood and fire. The only thing saving me form this is the fact that it’s still too good for the sins I’ve committed. I deserve far worse. “
The scene changed to the eight circle of hell where the general population of sinners goes once damned and horrible images of torture, disembowelment, and demons appeared in the background of Styles.
AJ Styles: “Fortunately for me I wasn't a horrible enough person to deserve the torture these poor bastards would.”
Images of most the EBWF roster was quickly flashed in the fiery depths of hell. The scene changes once again to the final circle of hell with images of a giant, terrifying beast with three faces, one red, one black, and one a pale yellow, waist deep in ice, weeping tears from his six eyes, and beating his six wings as if trying to escape, although the icy wind that egresses only further ensures his confinement.
AJ Styles: “Satan himself resides here. Treachery, I believe it is called. That gets you in the deepest depth of hell possible. Cain, who killed his brother. Antenor of Troy, who betrayed his city to the Greeks. Ptolemy, who invited an innocent family to a banquet and then commenced to killing them or better yet, Judas, the man who betrayed Jesus Christ. All of those people are the forefathers for the damnation that lies within these walls. But the worse of all the traitors are fed the beast himself.”
Images of The Miz and Ted DiBiase are shown in the background.
AJ Styles: “Three heads, chewing on a traitor in each of his mouths. Two of the mouths were for Brutus and Cassius, the men who conspired and assassinated Julius Cesar. Until now. See this would be where The Miz and Ted DiBiase would currently reside. They conspired against me and executed on their plans to stab me in the back. Only to be damned to the belly of the beast for eternity. More effective than the ass whopping I had in store for them both, I’ll say that.”
Images of AJ Styles himself were now shown in the background.
AJ Styles: “And there I am food for the main mouth of the monster. I committed the ultimate sin by betraying the EBWF fans. The people who truly appreciate my hard work and dedication throughout my career. I was blind to that fact and this is the punishment I deserve. If I had another chance to make things right, I would.”
The image on the screen changed dramatically once again and the color of the picture was now normal again and in the background of AJ Styles was a preview of this coming Sunday.

AJ Styles: “What if that didn’t happen though and this Sunday I would be stepping in the ring with the Miz one on one? For the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship. In front of 70,000 fans who would love to see me unleash rage, violence, and treachery in order and tear The Miz limb from limb. What if I won? What if that didn’t satisfy my desire for revenge? Taking the one thing that Miz truly cares about away would cripple the Trilogy and end its reign over the ranks. I’m positive that once we are in the ring this Sunday all the mind games, all the sideshow attractions, all the distractions will be nowhere around and it will be just the two of us, duking it out, mano-e-mano for the right to hold the most prestigious championship in the entire wrestling industry. For weeks, Miz has been able to look into my eyes and see that no matter what I would never be inferior to him, because he knows deep down in that black heart of his that I am the guy that can defeat him any day of the week. After the assault I received from the hands of my former allies after my brutal cage match, Miz spoke to me. What he said is still stuckin my head. In his squeaky little hamster voice he said “You were never my ally, you were never my friend, you were always just jealous.” I’m still trying to figure out what exactly I’m jealous of. I have no desire to require anything that the Miz possesses, other than that EBWF World Championship. I don’t wanna walk like you, talk like you, or be smothered by a psychotic hormone raging whore like you. I was your ally until you became a tyrant. I expected it, but I didn’t think you would get Ted to get his hands dirty for you. Shows how low you would go. Shows how much of a dirtbag you truly are. I was never your friend. Our families shared holidays together and my children even refer to you as Uncle Mike. We were not just friends, we were best friends! So the way I see it, it’s the opposite way around, buddy. You were never my ally, you were never my friend, you were always just jealous. You weren’t ever there for me when I really needed you, even though I really didn’t. You showed me exactly what kind of friend you were when you started fucking Layla. Not to mention you have always, always been jealous of everything I’ve done. I’m better in the ring, I’m better around women, I’m better all-around, and you have always been envious of that. When you lost the PTG Champion, you were jealous that I won the Intercontinental Championship. When you won the World Title, you were jealous that I won the Royal Rumble and stamped my name on the Main Event of WrestleMania. Admit it, buddy. It’s nothing to be ashamed about. You beat five men to get here. I beat twenty-nine. I know that’s exactly why you decided to take the route of a coward and in the Edwards Jones Dome this Sunday there will be nowhere for you to run. There will be no leaving the arena early. There will be no skipping out on the rest of the show. Once the referee rings the bell and the match begins, the nonsense will cease to matter and once you finally do leave the building, you will no longer be the World Heavyweight Champion! When I wrap my hands around your measly little throat and shake the life out of you, which I having wanted to do for months now. Who know, I might just send you to see Satan in The Inferno and for me there are no more what ifs. For me there is no tomorrow…”
The picture went back to black and white and got a close up shot of AJ Styles who looked extremely intense before the scene completely faded to black.

Listening to Torrie Wilson go on and on about Alex Rodriguez was not the way AJ Styles wanted to spend Dinner with the Divas. He’d admit that he only asked Torrie out to outdo The Miz and Layla, but he had hope he could possibly get a little action in. Not happening. He needed a drink. The urge to indulge with the others was overwhelming, but he was okay. He made it to the bar only to order a glass of cranberry juice before noticing the guy beside him playing video games with his date.
AJ Styles: “Trent?”
Trent Baretta: “Yo Bro! What’s going on? Seen you come in with Torrie. Nice…”
The two shared a fist bump.
Trent Baretta: “But didn’t I tell you that you were an idiot for dumping Layla. She killed with the dress she’s wearing. I mean the way it-
He abruptly cut him off. Layla on his mind was not going to help him focus.
AJ Styles: “Catch you later, bro.”
He walked away browsing through the prom like atmosphere that Dinner with the Divas was. Trying his best to stay away from Miz and Layla, because he didn’t want to see any of their mushiness. A blonde was standing a few steps away from AJ and he approached her. The dress she was wearing fit her to perfection and he couldn’t take his eyes off of her apple bottom ass. She turned around to face him and it was known at that moment he was talking to Kelly Kelly.
AJ Styles: “Kelly, you look fantastic!”
The noticeable weight loss and complete makeover made her look like a goddess.
Kelly Kelly: “Thanks!”
He had some pressure built up and he wouldn’t mind being with a beautiful. Kelly was well known for being what some would say easy. So he decided he wanted to leave with Kelly since there was no way Torrie would be giving it up.
AJ Styles: “Hey, what do you say we get out of here? This party sucks. We could go back to my room at the four seasons. Fire up the Jacuzzi; possibly play a game of touch each other twister. What do you say?”
Kelly came closer to him and twirled her finger through her curly blonde hair.
Kelly Kelly: “I love touch each other twister! I’ll be right back, let me grab my purse.”
A huge smile appeared on his face as he watched Kelly walk towards her table. He was suddenly approached by a guy who he was quite shocked to see. She didn’t quickly return but instead was having a conversation with a mysterious man. After they were done she returned to him and looked sad.
AJ Styles: “Ready to go?”
Kelly Kelly: “I can’t.”
His enthusiasm turned into curiously.
AJ Styles: “Why?”
Kelly Kelly: “You’re bad for my image. The last time I was with you, we were on video doing drugs. I’m a changed person now and you probably only want to get into my panties, like every other guy I’ve met tonight.”
AJ Styles: “Really?!?”
Kelly Kelly: “You should focus more on your match with The Miz in a few days and take your focus off of my ass. Good luck, AJ. See you around.”
She walked away, but her words stuck with him. She was right. He needed to focus more on winning the World Championship and less on getting laid. That was a big reason he lost the Intercontinental Championship, because he wasn’t focused. He didn’t expect a wakeup call from Kelly of all people, but he needed it. There was no way he was going to get distracted and lose sight of what he wanted the most, The EBWF World Championship.

Michael Cole: “Ladies and gentleman, please welcome The Phenomenal AJ Styles.”
70,000 plus fans within the Edward Jones Dome cheered loudly when the camera caught a glimpse of AJ Styles who was dressed for action. He took his hood off his head and the fans gave an extra pop and it caused him to smile.
AJ Styles: “It feels so good to be here in St. Louis, Missouri!”
Cheap pop, necessary.
Michael Cole: “In moments you will be in quite possibly the biggest match of his career when you go one on one with The Miz. How are you feeling?”
AJ Styles: “I feel great. I’m excited. This is the biggest match of my career on the biggest stage possible. I’m nervous, but anxious. Anxious to finally achieve my destiny and win the World Heavyweight Championship.”
Michael Cole: “Confidence from the challenger.”
AJ Styles: “Exactly, I’m confident in myself. Make no mistake about it. I’m not being arrogant when I say I’m the greatest in the galaxy. No, The Miz will have the chance to find out first hand later tonight. I will outlast him, outsmart him, outwrestle him, and finally defeat him for the EBWF Championship.”
Michael Cole: “Do you think Trilogy’s Ted DiBiase and Layla will play a factor in this match?”
AJ Styles: “I wouldn’t doubt it. When Miz is about to lose, Ted and Layla both will make their presence known in order to help him out when he needs it and trust me he is going to need it. I’m ready for it. I’ve prepared for it and I know that nothing will be able to stand in my way tonight on the showcase of the immortals.”
Suddenly, someone entered the scene and the fans cheered loudly. He was wearing a shirt that read A**hole. Former rival of The Phenomenal One, Mr. Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy: “Sorry to intrude, but I had something to say. AJ, I want to thank you for sticking your neck out for me this past Monday night. If you hadn’t of done that who knows what type of condition I would’ve been in tonight. I want to wish you good luck on you match tonight and just so you know I got your back. It’s your time man.”
Kennedy extended his hand and Styles accepted with a firm shake.
AJ Styles: “Thanks, I appreciate it.”
Mr. Kennedy exited the scene and Styles turned his attention back to Michael Cole, but before he could speak another guy was now in the scene. The fans went completely insane and AJ Styles looked taken back himself.
AJ Styles: “Jason? What the hell are you doing here?”
Jason Reso:”I’m Christian, dude. “
AJ Styles: “Christian? What the hell are you doing here?”
Christian: “It’s Wrestlemania! There is no way I could miss this. There was no way I could miss seeing my boy AJ Styles go out there and finally live his dream of becoming EBWF World Champion. I’ve been in your place. You won the Royal Rumble and you are this close, this close from realizing just how great you truly are. I want to say, you can do it. I know you can. I have faith in you and these 70,000 plus fans in attendance have faith in you.”
The fans cheered in order to approve his comment.
Christian: “Just like I was here to support my good friend Edge last year, I’m going to be here to support another one of my good friends tonight. AJ Styles, go out there and kick The Miz ass and win the World Championship. Not for me, not for the fans, do it for yourself. Good luck man. I’ll be rooting for you.”
The two men shook hands.
AJ Styles: “Thanks man. Trust me, I won’t let you down, I won’t let these people down, and I’m damn sure not going to let myself down.”
Christian left the scene and Cole spoke up.
Michael Cole: “Seems like you still have friends after all. I want to wish you good luck in your match tonight, may the best man win.”
Styles smiled from the encouraging words from Cole, and for once he didn’t see him as such an annoying dweb.
AJ Styles: “I will, Michael. I will”.
The camera followed AJ Styles as he walked away from Michael Cole and down the hallway, throwing his hood back over his head. Everything that needed to be said had been said and it was now time for action. AJ Styles was ready for the fight of his life. Even though it seemed as if he was down on his luck, he wasn’t. He still had people who he cared about and he still had friends and soon he could have the richest prize in the wrestling industry, The EBWF World Heavyweight Championship.

(OOC: First and foremost I would like to thank everyone for the use of their characters in this Roleplay. Permission granted. Special shoutout to Kyle for going out of his pay and making the graphic for me. The beginning is mostly a collection of quotes from past RPs, and some I came up with randomly. All in all I think this is one of my better pieces and I hope it’s enjoyable. I hope nobody was offended by the Inferno promo, it was something I thought would be different. Any feedback good or bad is welcome. Good luck to everyone who participated in WrestleMania XI. Best of luck to my best bud, DJ. I truly enjoyed working with you over the past few months and I wouldn't trade it for the world. You have pushed me to be better and for that I want to thank you, but as they say may the best man win.)
