Over the past few months, many have speculated that EBWF Diva Angelina Love was on her way out of the company. A company that she has claimed as her "home" for the past four years. Angelina Love found great success in EBWF with her former partner, Velvet Sky. The duo was known to the wrestling world as The Beautiful People. A group that originated back in their TNA days, but found even greater success once the duo signed with EBWF.
Angelina was also able to maintain a strong solo career for herself after The Beautiful People came to an end. Love captured the EBWF Women's championship twice and to this very day, she remains the fifth longest reigning EBWF Women's Champion. Angelina also won the EBWF Women's Tag Team Championships (x2), had a notable feud with both Layla and Michelle McCool (separately), and won a few Slammy's along the way. So it wasn't so far fetched for many to believe her lack of air time lately was leading to a release. Angelina has not held a title in more than a year, no current story lines or feuds going, and air time has been cut to a minimum for this top tier Diva.
It was well known that Love did not attend much of the EBWF Wrestlemania festivities this year. Angelina Love was not a part of Dinner with the Divas for the first time since she signed with EBWF back in early 2011. Love was not even advertised for the event, which seemed quite odd, as every Diva on the roster is usually set to attend the event.
Instead, during EBWF's Wrestlemania weekend, Angelina Love was reportedly spotted backstage at a few TNA shows. Many wrestling news sources began to speculate that Angelina would be re-signing with her old company. It is of no surprise that Dixie Carter wants Angelina Love back in TNA, and has since she left in 2011. Could Dixie afford it? Dixie Carter's financial problems are no secret, and WWE can't even compare to the success of EBWF. Although nothing has been confirmed, It seems highly unlikely that Angelina would walk away from the comfortable income Ikeda dishes out to his talent. He openly bragged about it over twitter back in March.
Many took to twitter to ask the Canadian Diva, but no response has ever been given. In fact, Angelina Love's twitter has been rather inactive the past six months. That is, until today when she posted the following tweet:"Wes Ikeda: @ActualALove earns more money in a week than she ever earned in TNA. Also, I kind of think she's an amazing human being, but I'd have to break kayfabe to tell you that..."
"ActualALove: So this happened yesterday. "
Usually private about her personal life, Angelina broke her silence to announce her recent engagement to TNA talent, Davey Richards, real name Wesley David Richards. Angelina has previously been linked to Paul London (2006), and AJ Styles (2011). Richards was previously engaged to his long time girlfriend Jennifer, a nurse working in St. Louis, Missouri. It is unknown when Davey and Jennifer broke off their engagement, or when Angelina Love and Davey Richards began seeing one another. Many speculate it's not as long as some might think.
