Jerry Lawler: But first, the Tag Team Championships are on the line. Wade Barrett and Ryback are challenging Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins for the EBWF Tag Team Championships.

Ryback and Barrett were to the ring first, followed by the tag champions, Ambrose and Rollins. The bell rang, and all the guys immediately started brawling to start the match off. Ambrose and Rollins teamed up on Ryback before teaming up to pick up Barrett and throwing him into Ryback. Ryback and Barrett bailed, and Rollins backdropped Ambrose over the top and to the outside, wiping out both men. Ambrose caught Barrett with a big right hand, then follows up with a giant hip toss. Ambrose worked over the arm before tagging out to Rollins. Rollins hit Barrett with a couple of big clubbing blows and a back elbow for two.

Jim Ross: Wade Barrett is a big man. It’s going to take a lot more than that to keep him down.

Barrett got caught in the corner with a running knee to the gut that Rollins followed up with a slingshot suplex for two. Rollins took the fight to Barrett in the corner, chopping away at his chest. Rollins ended up tossed in the corner, but connected with another back elbow and caught Ryback with a right. Barrett pulled Rollins off the ropes and made the tag to Ryback. Ryback dropped a knee over Rollins’s throat, and tagged back out to Barrett. Barrett came in with a series of stomps to Rollins’s face, sending him into the corner and following up with a sidewalk slam. Barrett headed up to the middle rope, but he was stopped by Rollins. Once Storm and Punk were in the ring, “99 Problems” hit the PA and the crowd cheered for Lance Storm as he proceeded to the ring.

Jim Ross: Not so long ago, Chris Jericho and Lance Storm would have been considered the bad guys, King.

Jerry Lawler: It’s pretty difficult to be the bad guys when you’re up against the worst of the worst here, JR.

The lights went off in the arena, and the countdown clock began down from 10.

Jim Ross: Here we go…

Once the countdown made it all the way to 0, the room went dark again and the outline of Chris Jericho’s light up jacket as he held his arms out to both sides. The tron lit up once more, flashing a series of phrases.

Styles locked a headlock on Jericho. Jericho got to his feet and powered out of it. He came off the ropes and rolled up to Styles for a two count. Once they were on their feet, Styles hit a clothesline for two. Styles got back on the headlock. Jericho rolled out of it with a back suplex. Both men were down. They crawled to their partners. The lights went off again and the crowd heard chaos in the ring as the wrestlers tried to find their way through the dark. The Jericho countdown clock started once more.

Jim Ross: We seem to be having some technical difficulties here. I’m not sure what’s…

The lights popped on again.

Jerry Lawler: Wait a minute…

The crowd roared again as Wes Ikeda was seen on top of the turnbuckle. He took a leap, landing a drop kick to the chest of CM Punk! The referee tried to call Wes off.

Jim Ross: This is a no holds barred match. This is perfectly legal!

Punk stumbled up into a codebreaker, and Styles ran into a super kick from Storm. Jericho and Ikeda were feeding off the crowd, and Wes rolled out of the ring, staying at ringside. Punk started to move to his feet again.

Jerry Lawler: Lance Storm is still the legal man here. As is CM Punk.

Punk hit an elbow for a two count. Punk got a headlock submission to Storm. Punk stood on his head while doing so. Storm got to his feet, but Punk stopped him and hits a neckbreaker.

Wes encouraged Storm from the outside, and Jericho was rallying him from their corner.

Punk mocked Jericho and waited for Storm to get up. He hit the leapfrog legdrop and improvised some kicks. He went for it again, and Storm countered with a back body drop. Both men crawled to their corners for another hot tag to Jericho and Styles. Jericho came in hot with shoulder tackles, ducked the clothesline, and dropkicked Punk on the apron. 3!

Jim Ross: There it is. Chris Jericho is still the IC Champion! Lance Storm is the brand new EBWF Path to Glory Champion.

Jerry Lawler: Lance Storm may very well have an opportunity to become the EBWF World Champion.

AJ and Punk began backing up the ramp, and looked up to the ring as Wes got back into the ring, and stood between the Thrillseekers to raise their arms in victory. It was at this point that the three men in the ring realized that for having lost, Punk and Styles seemed awfully confident. The camera focused on AJ Styles and picked up his words.

AJ Styles: We were waiting for you!

Wes and Jericho both looked a little confused.

CM Punk: We knew you wouldn’t be able to stay away!

Wes looked to Jericho and just as the two men looked like they were about to charge down the ramp “Next Big Thing” hit the PA. The camera focused on Wes and quickly cut away when he mouthed the word “Fuck”. Brock Lesnar came out onto the stage, followed by Paul Heyman. Heyman embraced Punk before turning to shake Styles hand. Heyman had a microphone.

Paul Heyman: Hope you can find two more suckers to partner with you boys, because these guys? They’ll see you at Survivor Series.

“Next Big Thing” hit again, and Wes, Jericho and Storm stood in the middle of the ring watching as Paul Heyman and this unholy alliance left the arena.

MATCH FOUR

The capacity crowd was still on their feet after the thrilling match they had just seen. The cameras panned around the entire arena and came around to the front row of the crowd, showcasing the celebrities in the attendance.

Jim Ross: That's Jon Stewart!

Jerry Lawler: There's Freddie Prinze Jr!

Jim Ross: Even the most dangerous man in the world, Mike Tyson is here tonight!

Jerry Lawler: Celebrities all over the place here at Fanniversary. Look, JR!

The camera got a close up on Adam Sandler who was having a great time with his family. The camera moved on to another celebrity in attendance.

Jim Ross: That’s The Rock! He's here having a cold one with our General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin!

The two legends raised their beers to the camera as it passed by a few seats to catch a beautiful blonde with a pink braid sitting with a few teenagers who were wearing Wes Ikeda t-shirts.

Jerry Lawler: That's Natalie Neidhart and she has to be rooting for her best friend here tonight!

The camera moved on to where it caught a glimpse of another celebrity.

Jim Ross: That's hip hop recording artist, Snoop Dogg! It looks like he brought his whole crew and they are showing their support for the champion tonight.

Snoop didn't even notice the camera and it continued on around until it got to JR and King at the announce tables.

Jim Ross: Tonight has been one hell of a night so far. But the nights not over yet! Now, we move on to the Co-main event, between challenger, Trish Stratus and the reigning EBWF Women's Champion, Sasha Banks.

Jerry Lawler: Tonight Sasha Banks is looking to become the longest reigning Women's Champion in EBWF history, but in order to do that she must defeat her challenger, Trish Stratus, who happens to hold the current record as longest Champion in history.

Jim Ross: This is sure to be a slobberknocker!

The scene faded into a video package highlighting the history of Trish Stratus' reign and afterwards Sasha Banks' reign in comparison. After the video package concluded, there was a brief pause where the crowd was building anticipation.

"Bossy" hit and the crowd cheered as Trish Stratus headed towards the ring. Trish strutted to the ring, looking confident as she made her way down the ramp. After she entered the ring, "Sky's the Limit" hit and the crowd had a mixed reaction once Sasha Banks stepped out onto the stage, Women's Championship around her waist. The flashy champion made her way in to the ring and showed off her title to her challenger. Lilian Garcia preformed formal ring introductions and built the big fight feel as much as possible.

Jim Ross: This match is almost underway!

The bell rang and Stratus and Banks stared each other down. As they locked up neither competitor could get an advantage. They locked up again and Sasha grabbed a side headlock. Sasha threw Trish on the mat and Sasha went for multiple pin attempts, but Trish kicked out of each. Trish was up and she hit the ropes and ran Sasha over with a shoulder block. She followed that will three different pin attempts of her own. Sasha managed to kick out. Back on her feet Banks dropkicked Stratus so hard she tumbled across the ring. Trish scrambled to her feet and attempted to catch Sasha with a belly to back suplex, but Sasha responded with a spinning head scissors takedown. Sasha tried for the Banks Statement early, but Trish held on to the ropes to block. Trish gave Sasha a few good forearms to the face before Sasha fought out of it and retreated to the corner.

Jim Ross: So far, this has been a back and forth match. Neither woman has got the advantage just yet.

Sasha grabbed Trish by the hair and slammed her to the mat. Sasha went nuts, beating Trish from pillar to post. Trish rolled to the outside, but Sasha hit a suicide dive through the ropes on Trish. Sasha got her in the ring and rolled her up, putting her feet on the ropes. The ref seen it and didn't count the fall. Sasha let Trish up and went for a clothesline. Trish ducked and charged Sasha, she moved and Trish almost ran into the ref, she stopped herself and as soon as she turned around Sasha poked her in the eye and went for a small package.

Jerry Lawler: Sasha Banks trying to steal one here!

Jim Ross: Looks like she almost did!

Sasha was already up after the kickout and went to attack Trish, but Trish took her down and pounded her head into the mat. Trish smashed Sasha’s head into the turnbuckle and tried to stack her up in the corner. Sasha sat on the top rope and Trish brought her down with a beautiful Stratusphere. Trish quickly went for the cover.

Jim Ross: We may have a new champion!

Sasha kicked out and rolled out the ring. Trish climbed the top rope and waited for her to stand and once she did she jumped. Sasha moved at the last second and Trish smacked the ground hard! Sasha had a sick smile on her face as she pulled Trish up by her hair.
Sasha with a handful of hair tossed Trish into the steel steps. Sasha proceeded to toss her into the steel steps over and over again. Trish was now on spaghetti legs when Sasha rolled her in the ring and went for a pin, but Trish kicked out. Sasha tossed Trish back out over the top rope and began taunting around the ring as the ref began counting Trish out. Sasha didn't wanna win just yet and rolled out the ring.

Jerry Lawler: I don't think this match is gonna end by count out, JR.

She stopped her pursuit only to give Trish's best friend Natalya a piece of her mind. The two exchanged words for a moment before Sasha turned her focus back to Trish. Sasha grabbed Trish by her hair and began dragging her near the ramp. She pulled her to her feet and hit a sickening snap suplex on the unforgiving steel. Sasha stood up and seemed satisfied with herself.

Jim Ross: The Boss is in complete control at this point. She's really having her way with the Trish Stratus here tonight.

Jerry Lawler: You can't count EBWF's Quintessential Diva out just yet!

Jim Ross: You're right, King. But right now she needs to do something quick because she's being beat like a government mule.

On the way back to the ring Sasha took a moment to take a picture with Snoop Dogg. Out of nowhere she grabbed the famous rappers cup and splashed the contents in Natalya's face. A deafening scream was heard and Sasha laughed as she slid in the ring. The crowd was raining down boos and the referee didn't know what to do. By now his count was at 6 and Trish was nowhere to be seen. The camera focused in on Sasha Banks flossing around the ring.

Jim Ross: What a despicable act by our Women's Champion. I think she is going to be just fine with a count out victory now.

By the referees count of 9 the entire arena exploded as Trish climbed back into the ring. She looked pissed and Sasha continued to taunt her. Trish slapped the smile right off her face and Sasha didn't have a chance to react. Trish pounced with forearm shots in combinations. Sasha was overwhelmed as Trish continued to rain down strikes on her. Sasha tried to counter anything, but Trish got her with a combo in the corner. Trish stacked Sasha on the top rope and followed her up with a big Superplex. Trish went for a cover and the ref counted- 1.. 2.. Sasha got a shoulder up in time. Trish went over and climbed to the second rope and hit a flying dropkick as soon as Sasha stood up. Trish picked her up and put her in the tree of woe in the corner. She hit kick after kick to a defenseless Sasha. Trish set up Sasha on the top rope and climbed up after her but Sasha wiggled out and hit a backstabber in the corner from the top rope! Sasha went for a cover, but Trish leg was under the bottom rope. Sasha was upset, but she continued her assault. This time it was Sasha who put Trish in the tree of woe. Sasha gave Trish a few good kicks and then she tried to spear her, but Trish sat up and Sasha flew right into the turnbuckle. Trish turned around and flipped over her for the sunset pin and the referee counted-1.. 2..

Jim Ross: This has become one hell of a match that's for damn sure!

Sasha kicked out the pin and scrambled to the opposite corner. She used the ropes to pull herself up and once she did she noticed Trish standing right behind her ready to finish her off. Sasha thought twice and slid out of the ring to catch her breath. She turned her back to Trish for a moment only to be met with a cold drink right to her face from Natalya. This time Sasha's scream could be heard throughout the arena. She rolled into the ring, wet and confused only to be met with a stiff Chick Kick from Trish.

Jim Ross: BAW GAWD KING, YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT PAYBACK!

Trish made a cover- 1.. 2.. Sasha managed to kick out at the very last second. Both ladies lay on the mat for a moment only to be greeted by "this is awesome" chants from the crowd.

Jerry Lawler: I've gotta agree with the fans! This match is awesome!

Duelling chants for both women began. Half the crowd was rooting for Sasha and the other half Trish. Both women were standing now and Trish unloaded with shots. Sasha fought back and got behind Trish. Trish avoided the Bank Statement and she went for Stratusfaction. Sasha countered it and out of desperation she shoved Trish head first into the turnbuckle and Trish stumbled right into the Bank Statement! Trish fought the hold and almost got to the ropes. But Sasha rolled over and Trish almost got out again, but Sasha was persistent and slapped it right back on.

Jim Ross: Bank Statement! Sasha has the submission locked in tight! This has to be it!

Trish was yelling in agony while the crowd willed her on. Sasha yelled that Trish is a loser and she needs to give up. Trish fought with everything she had just to make it to the bottom rope. The referee forced the hold to be broken and now Sasha was beginning to get frustrated. Sasha continued to badmouth Trish, and Trish fired back with a kick from the ground. Sasha stumbled back while Trish got to her feet. Trish went to throw Sasha back out the ring but Sasha countered and threw her out instead. The fans were booing as Sasha posed in the ring. The referee went out to check on Trish, but Sasha leaped over the top rope taking out both Trish and the referee with a flip dive. Another "This is awesome" chant broke out within the crowd.

Jerry Lawler: Wow!

Jim Ross: I don't think I've ever witnessed two women this passionate about being champion. How in the world is this going to end?

Sasha got Trish back into the ring and applied another Bank Statement in the center of the ring! Trish crawled to the ropes, but Sasha pulled back some more. Another referee join the match. Sasha tried to pull her back to the center, but Trish reversed it and locked Sasha in her own Bank Statement! Sasha was screaming and thinking about tapping, but was able to reach the rope to force a break. Sasha was dazed and Trish let her to her feet just to nail a classic Stratusfaction! She went for the pin- 1.. 2.. Sasha kicked out! Trish couldn't believe it. "This is awesome" was still going and now was as loud ever. Trish began to stalk Sasha and when she rose she tried for the Chick Kick! Sasha ducked at the last second and caught Trish with a Chick Kick of her own. She covered Trish and referee counted- 1... 2...

Jerry Lawler: 3!

Jim Ross: No, the match isn't over!

Trish kicked out and now Sasha couldn't believe it. More duelling chants followed from the split crowd. Sasha pulled Trish up and used all the strength she had to put her on the top turnbuckle facing the crowd. Sasha went up after her and they fought on the turnbuckle. This time Trish wiggled out and got down, she pushed Sasha's leg and caused her to straddle the top turnbuckle. Trish climbed up with her and the crowd exploded when she hit a Super Stratusfaction off the top rope! Sasha was lifeless and Trish crawled to make the cover. The crowd counted along with the referee- 1... 2... 3!

Jim Ross: NEW CHAMPION!! We have a new EBWF Women's Champion! Her name is Trish Stratus and tonight she just made sure her name remains etched in the annals of EBWF history!

After the match the entire arena gave the girls a standing ovation. Sasha rolled out the ring and collapsed in tears. Natalya now made her way into the ring and was able to present Trish with her newly won championship. Trish was also emotional as her hand was raised by the referee and her best friend. The final image of the celebration was the ladies embracing with one another, before a commercial for the upcoming Survivor Series event next month aired.

SEGMENT

After the commercial for Survivor Series, the camera cut to JR and The King at ringside.

Jerry Lawler: What a match we just saw, JR!

Jim Ross: You're absolutely right, King... I think that might be the best women's match in EBWF history! Congratulations to our new champion, Trish Stratus!

Jerry Lawler: And now it's time for our main event... how great is this going to be?!

The sound of glass shattering echoed through the arena and the crowd went wild as Stone Cold Steve Austin stepped out onto the stage. Austin was wearing jeans and a Broken Skull Ranch t-shirt, and he had the EBWF World Title draped over his shoulder.

Jim Ross: Well there's a sight I'm betting a number of EBWF fans would like to see, King... Stone Cold with the World Title!

As he entered the ring, Austin grabbed a microphone. His music was cut and the EBWF General Manager began to speak.

Stone Cold Steve Austin: If you're having a great time here tonight, gimme a hell yeah!

The crowd chanted "HELL YEAH!" in unison and Austin smiled.

Stone Cold Steve Austin: That's what I like to hear! Now in a few moments time, I'm going to do the honor of hanging the World Title about the ring for our main event, but before that I'd like to address the future of the EBWF World Title picture. You see, I've been looking back at the superstars who've been in World Title matches this past year, and it seems like there are only three ways to get a shot at the World Champion. You have to either win the Royal Rumble, win King of the Ring, or cash in the Path to Glory Championship. Now I don’t have a problem with making guys earn a World Title match – that's the way it should be – but I do have a problem with how often the World Title has been defended. If I've got my facts right, when Dolph Ziggler was World Champion, he went damn near three months without defending the title at one point. So let me make one thing clear... now that I'm the GM, there's no chance in hell I'm going to let that happen again.

Jerry Lawler: Did he just say the phrase I think he said, JR?!

Stone Cold Steve Austin: So Miz, Zayn, whichever one of you walks out of here tonight as the World Champion, mark my words, you will be defending your title at Survivor Series. And to determine the new number one contender, we're going to have a series of matches next week on Warfare. The winning superstars will compete on Warfare the following week in a six pack challenge to earn a title match at Survivor Series... and Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to be the special guest enforcer for that match. Because everyone knows, if there's one thing ole Stone Cold loves, it's a six pack. Now that's that, let's have our second main event of the night. The first was one hell of a match, so I hope Miz and Zayn have what it takes to follow it! And that's the bottom line, 'cause Stone Cold said so!

Austin dropped his microphone and hung the World Title up, then exited the ring.

MATCH FIVE

"Worlds Apart" hit and the crowd cheered as Sami Zayn made his way down the ramp.

Jim Ross: Here we go King! Sami Zayn gets his rematch for the World Title in a ladder match!

After Zayn had entered the ring, "I Came To Play" by Downstait hit and the cheers quickly turned to boos as The Miz stepped out onto the stage.

Jerry Lawler: As per Stone Cold's ruling, there's no sign of Vertex out here once again. If The Miz wants to retain his title, he'll have to do it on his own!

Miz had a sour expression on his face as he made his way down the ramp, and as he entered the ring he glared across at his opponent. After Christy Hemme had introduced both men, the referee called for the bell. Miz and Zayn charged towards one another, exchanging right hands back and forth. Zayn gained the upper hand, and after whipping Miz against the ropes, he hit him with a dropkick. Both men got to their feet and Zayn hit a half and half suplex, then rolled out of the ring and grabbed one of the ladders at ringside. Zayn re-entered the ring with the ladder, but before he could set it up Miz hit a dropkick to the knee, causing Zayn to drop the ladder. Miz then grabbed Zayn and hit a half nelson facebuster, slamming his head against the ladder! Miz stomped on Zayn several times then tossed him out of the ring, before setting up the ladder and beginning to climb it. As Miz was halfway up the ladder, Zayn re-entered the ring and grabbed The Miz, pulling him off the ladder. Zayn hit Miz with the Blue Thunder Bomb, then followed it up with a leg drop. Zayn then climbed the ladder, but Miz got to his feet and hit him with a low blow!

Jim Ross: What a cheap shot by The Miz!

Jerry Lawler: It's a ladder match, JR! Anything goes!

Miz whipped Zayn into the corner and hit the Awesome Clothesline, then set him up for the Skull Crushing Finale. Zayn blocked it and hit Miz with an elbow smash, before clotheslining him over the top rope. Zayn followed Miz out of the ring, and hit him with a series of punches. He then set Miz up for a brainbuster, but Miz blocked it and hit a knee to the midsection. Miz walked towards the timekeeper and went to grab a steel chair, but Zayn recovered and ran after the Miz, hitting him with a forearm smash. Zayn then grabbed the ring bell and hit Miz in the face with it!

Jerry Lawler: Oh my, JR! I bet The Miz is seeing stars right now!

Zayn re-entered the ring and climbed the ladder once more, but as he neared the top of the ladder, Miz came to and grabbed a chair. He re-entered the ring and hit Zayn with a chair, causing him to fall off the ladder. Zayn landed on his feet and Miz drilled the chair into the gut of Zayn, before hitting him across the back with the chair. Zayn fell to the mat and Miz dropped the chair, then went to climb the ladder. As he was about to start climbing, Miz seemed to change his mind and smirked to himself. He picked the ladder up and hit Zayn in the ribs with it! The crowd booed as Zayn cried out in pain.

Jim Ross: Good God! He might have just cracked Zayn's ribs!

Miz hit Zayn in the ribs several times until Zayn rolled out of the ring defensively. Zayn appeared to be in a lot of pain, but The Miz didn't seem to be done just yet. He slid out of the ring with the ladder and stood over Zayn, waiting for him to stand. When Zayn was up, Miz went to hit him in the face with the ladder, but Zayn blocked it and pushed the ladder towards Miz, sending the ladder into Miz's face! The crowd cheered at seeing Miz get his comeuppance and Miz dropped the ladder, then staggered backwards, looking dazed. Miz didn't seem to know where he was and he walked around the ring, trying to compose himself. Sensing an opportunity, Zayn ran towards Miz, then as he neared the corner of the ring he suicide dived through the ropes, hitting a tornado DDT! Both men were down for several seconds, then Zayn recovered and grabbed another ladder, taking it into the ring. Zayn set it up and began to climb slowly, clutching his ribs as he did so. The slow climb allowed Miz time to recover and he re-entered the ring, climbing up the ladder after Zayn. Zayn tried to kick him away, but Miz punched Zayn in the ribs, causing Zayn to lose his balance. Zayn held onto the ladder, determined not to fall, but Miz grabbed him and hit the Skull Crushing Finale!

Jerry Lawler: Skull Crushing Finale off the ladder! A huge risk there by The Miz!

Jim Ross: Both of these men are risking it all tonight, King! The want to walk out of here as World Champion!

Both men were down for several seconds once more, but Miz was able to get to his feet. He climbed the ladder, but as he neared the top, Zayn began to recover. The 2015 King of the Ring didn't seem to have the energy to stand, and he tried to use the ladder to pull himself up. Upon seeing how close Miz was to the top of the ladder, Zayn panicked. Desperately trying to stop The Miz from reaching the World Title, Zayn pushed the ladder over! Miz landed on the ropes, but the momentum of his fall saw him topple to the outside.

Jerry Lawler: This could be it, JR! This could be the moment Sami Zayn climbs the ladder and regains the World Title!

Zayn got to his feet and set the ladder back up in the center of the ring, then looked out of the ring, where he could see Miz stirring. Perhaps thinking that the job wasn't done, Zayn exited the ring and walked up to The Miz. Zayn looked at Miz, then looked at the ringside barriers, and the crowd seemed to sense what he was thinking. The fans cheered in anticipation and Zayn pulled Miz to his feet, then hit an exploder suplex into the ringside barriers! Miz pulled himself to his feet, then laid against the barrier, looking dazed. To the crowd's delight, Zayn signalled for the Helluva Kick! Zayn ran at Miz... but Miz moved out of the way at the last second, causing Zayn to collide with the barrier.

Jim Ross: Another risk there, King... and for Sami Zayn, it was a risk that didn't pay off!

Colliding with the turnbuckle seemed to cause Zayn's ribs more pain, and The Miz took full advantage, grabbing the ring steps and slamming them into Zayn's ribs. Miz then pulled one of the ringside mats up, exposing the concrete underneath. Miz grabbed Zayn and hit a snapmare driver, slamming Zayn face first into the exposed concrete!

Jim Ross: GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY! Zayn might be out cold!

To the Miz's satisfaction, Zayn didn’t move as the leader of Vertex got to his feet. Miz re-entered the ring and climbed the ladder, then unhooked the title. The referee called for the bell and the crowd booed as The Miz began to celebrate.

Jerry Lawler: It's over! Miz is still the champion!

Jim Ross: Someone needs to check on Zayn!

"I Came To Play" blasted through the arena and the rest of Vertex rushed to the ring to celebrate with Miz. Meanwhile, EMTs checked on Sami Zayn. Vertex continued their celebration as Warfare went off the air.
