MATCH ONE

After a promotional package and the opening pyro display, the camera cut to Joey Styles and Corey Graves at ringside.

Joey Styles: Good evening and welcome to EBWF Aftermath! We are live from the sold out Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois!

Corey Graves: We're less than 20 miles away from Chicago, Joey, so I'm expecting a hot crowd here tonight... you know what Chicago fans are like!

Joey Styles: We've got fans from all around the world in attendance tonight as we witness the Aftermath of Wrestlemania!

Corey Graves: Up first tonight, the Breakout Champion Carlito defends his title in a fatal four way elimination match!

"Retaliation" by CFO$ hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Dean Ambrose made his way to the ring. Once Ambrose was in the ring, "Basket Case" by Green Day hit, and Matt Sydal also received a mixed reaction from the crowd. "Subconscious Entry Version" by Julia Claris hit, and the crowd went wild as Shinsuke Nakamura headed to the ring. Finally, "Cool" by Jim Johnston hit, and the crowd booed as the Breakout Champion Carlito stepped out onto the stage. When all four men were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Ambrose went after Carlito, the two men exchanging right hands back and forth. Meanwhile, Shinsuke Nakamura hit Sydal with a knee to the midsection and whipped him into the corner, then hit him with repeated kicks. Across the ring, Ambrose was able to overpower Carlito, hitting a snap DDT then tossing him out of the ring. Ambrose turned his attention to Nakamura, who dared Ambrose to come at him. Ambrose ran at Nakamura, going for a clothesline, but Nakamura ducked out of the way and hit Ambrose with a roundhouse kick. Ambrose staggered backwards, looking dazed, and Nakamura hit him with a series of kicks, then whipped him against the ropes. Ambrose rebounded back off the ropes, hitting Nakamura with a pendulum lariat. Sydal then moved out of the corner, and Ambrose lifted him up for a scoop slam, but Sydal countered with a headscissors takedown. Both men got to their feet, and Sydal hit an enzuigiri, causing Ambrose to land on the ropes. Sydal followed it up with a dropkick, sending Ambrose to the outside, then turned his attention back to Nakamura. Sydal hit Nakamura with a kick to the midsection, then set him up for a cradle suplex, but Nakamura blocked it, countering with a suplex of his own. Both men got to their feet, and Nakamura grabbed Sydal, lifting him up and dropping him on the ropes then tossing him across the ring. Nakamura taunted Sydal, waiting for him to stand, then ran at him and hit the Boma Ye! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Joey Styles: Shinsuke Nakamura has eliminated Matt Sydal!

Sydal rolled out of the ring, shaking his head in frustration as he made his way to the back. As Nakamura got to his feet, Carlito re-entered the ring. The defending champion attacked Nakamura from behind, hitting him in the back of the head then throwing him shoulder first into the ring post. Nakamura fell into a sitting position, and Carlito ran at him, hitting a running knee lift to the face of Nakamura. At this point, Ambrose re-entered the ring, and he took Carlito down with a double-leg takedown, then hit him with multiple punches. As Ambrose got to his feet, Nakamura hit him with a side kick, then lifted him up for a German suplex. Ambrose and Nakamura got to their feet, and Nakamura set Ambrose up for a double underhook piledriver, but Ambrose countered with a back body drop. As Nakamura got back to his feet, Ambrose hit a clothesline, sending him over the top rope. Ambrose then turned his attention to Carlito, who was back on his feet. Carlito ran at Ambrose, but Ambrose reacted quickly, hitting a knee to the midsection, then setting him up for Dirty Deeds! Carlito blocked it, countering with a reverse STO. Carlito then applied the figure four leglock on Ambrose! Ambrose cried out in pain, but he was able to reach the ropes, and the referee forced Carlito to break the hold. As Carlito got to his feet, Nakamura reached under the bottom rope, grabbing Carlito by the leg and pulling him out of the ring. Nakamura hit Carlito with a series of punches at ringside, then threw him into the ring steps. Carlito looked dazed, and Nakamura brushed his foot against Carlito's face, then signalled for a kick. He went to kick Carlito in the face... but Carlito moved out of the way, causing Nakamura to kick the steel steps instead! As Nakamura clutched his foot in pain, Carlito got to his feet and grabbed Nakamura from behind, hitting the Backstabber! He rolled Nakamura back into the ring, then re-entered the ring himself and hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Corey Graves: Shinsuke Nakamura has been eliminated! We're down to just Ambrose and Carlito!

As Nakamura exited the ring, Carlito turned his attention back to Ambrose. He went to pull Ambrose to his feet, but Ambrose fought back, hitting Carlito with an uppercut. Ambrose got to his feet and whipped Carlito into the corner, running at him and hitting a corner forearm smash, then following it up with a running bulldog. Ambrose went to the top rope, and hit a diving elbow drop! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Carlito kicked out!

Joey Styles: So close to a three count! We almost had a new Breakout Champion right there, Corey!

Corey Graves: Carlito isn't done yet, Joey!

Ambrose got to his feet and stomped on Carlito several times, then pulled the Caribbean superstar to his feet and whipped him against the ropes. Ambrose went for a clothesline, but Carlito ducked out of the way, ran against the ropes, then took Ambrose down with a crossbody. Both men got to their feet, and Carlito hit a swinging neckbreaker, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... Ambrose kicked out! Carlito got to his feet and went to reapply the figure four, but Ambrose kicked Carlito away, then got to his feet. Ambrose grabbed Carlito, setting him up for a powerbomb. He lifted Carlito up... but Carlito countered with a hurricanrana! Both men got to their feet, and Carlito hit the Backstabber on Ambrose!

Joey Styles: Another Backstabber! This one's over!

Carlito hooked the leg, and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3! The referee called for the bell, and raised Carlito's arm in victory.

Corey Graves: What a match that was, Joey! Tremendous performances by all four superstars, but in the end Carlito is the last man standing, and he retains the Breakout Championship!

Carlito celebrated, then made his way to the back.

MATCH TWO

Joey Styles: Up next, we've got a triple threat tag match, with the Women's Tag Titles on the line as Trish Stratus and Natalya defend the gold against the Mean Girls, Sasha Banks and Summer Rae, and Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson!

Stacy and Torrie came out first, the crowd cheering for the two beautiful blondes as they made their way to the ring. Sasha and Summer came out next to a chorus of boos, and finally, Beautiful Dangerous came out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Once all six women were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Stacy and Torrie moved onto the ring apron, as did Natalya and Summer Rae.

Corey Graves: It looks like Sasha Banks and Trish Stratus will be starting this match... a lot of history between these two! Sasha actually came close to beating Trish's record as the longest reigning Women's Champion last year, but Trish beat her for the title, keeping the record intact.

Joey Styles: The rules of this match are as follows – there can only be two superstars in the ring at any one time, so all three teams will have to tag in and out to get a piece of the action.

Trish and Sasha locked up, and Trish applied a headlock on Sasha. Sasha fought out of it, pushing Trish into the ropes, then as Trish ran back towards her, Sasha hit a Japanese arm drag. Sasha then whipped Trish into the corner, where Summer Rae held her in place. Sasha ran at Trish and hit a high knee, then tagged in Summer Rae. Upon entering the ring, Summer applied a leg choke on Trish, then pulled her out of the corner and hit a hair-pull mat slam. She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout. Trish got to her feet and Summer went to whip her against the ropes, but Trish reversed it, sending Summer into the ropes. As Summer ran back towards her, Trish took Summer down with a spear. After punching Summer against the mat several times, Trish got to her feet and tagged in Natalya.

Joey Styles: Well that's four of the six women who have been involved in this match now... Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson have yet to see any action!

Corey Graves: That's not necessarily a bad thing, Joey... they can conserve their energy until later in the match!

As Natalya entered the ring, the crowd booed. Nattie shrugged, then grabbed Summer Rae, lifting her up and hitting a double underhook suplex. Natalya then went for the Sharpshooter, but as she grabbed Summer's legs, Summer kicked her away and rolled towards the ropes. Summer got to her feet and tagged in Torrie Wilson, who was the closest superstar to her. Torrie entered the ring, and Natalya dared Torrie to come at her. Torrie ran at her, but Natalya reacted quickly, hitting Torrie with a powerslam!

Joey Styles: What quick reflexes from Natalya!

Corey Graves: Would you expect anything else, Joey? Not only was she trained in the Hart family dungeon, she's also an Ikeda!

Joey Styles: Indeed, Corey... something she's made no secret of recently...

Natalya pulled Torrie to her feet and hit her with the Michinoku driver, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Natalya got to her feet, and tagged in Trish Stratus. Trish and Natalya worked together, hitting a double suplex on Torrie. The Women's Tag Champions got to their feet, and Natalya went to exit the ring... but she then turned around, grabbing Trish and taking her down with a clothesline!

Joey Styles: What the hell?!

Natalya stomped on Trish several times, then pulled her to her feet and hit a sitout powerbomb. Torrie, Stacy, Sasha and Summer watched on, all four women visibly stunned by what had happened. Natalya dragged Trish to her feet once more, this time hitting the Stratusfaction! Natalya then rolled out of the ring, making her way back up the ramp.

Corey Graves: Well Joey, I think it's safe to say Beautiful Dangerous is no more!

Joey Styles: Unbelievable, Corey. Not only as Natalya turned her back on her tag partner, she's also added insult to injury by using Trish's own move against her.

Trish was laid out on the ring mat, but Torrie appeared reluctant to take advantage of the situation. The Mean Girls had no such dilemma, and Summer tagged herself into the match, pushing past Torrie and covering Trish. The referee counted – 1... 2... Torrie broke up the count! Sasha entered the ring, attacking Torrie, but Stacy then came to her partner's aid. The referee intervened, ordering Torrie, Stacy and Sasha to exit the ring. Summer pulled Trish to her feet and set her up for the Summer Crush, but Trish blocked it, then lifted Summer up and hit her with the fallaway slam. Trish still seemed to be feeling the effects of her beating from Natalya, and as she recovered, Summer crawled towards the corner, tagging Sasha into the match. With Trish still down, Sasha ran across the ring, knocking both Stacy and Torrie off the ring apron. Sasha then grabbed Trish, hitting her with a straight jacket neckbreaker slam.

Corey Graves: Bankrupt! I think we could have new champions, Joey!

Sasha hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3! The referee called for the bell, and raised Sasha's arm in victory. Summer Rae entered the ring and celebrated with her partner.

Joey Styles: Poor Trish Stratus... she was left stranded by the woman who's supposed to be her best friend, and the Mean Girls have taken full advantage of the situation!

Corey Graves: Can you blame them, Joey? They saw an opportunity, they seized it, and they've been rewarded with the victory!

Summer and Sasha then headed to the back, leaving Trish laid out in the ring.

MATCH THREE

Christy Hemme: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Path to Glory championship!

“I Came to Play!” Downstait accompanies the entrance of the Miz to mostly boos. He removes his movie star shades and sneers at the crowd.

Joey Styles: The Miz has had a bumpy road on his attempt to get back to the World Championship, Corey.

Corey Graves: And each twist and turn on that road just make him angrier and more determined.

“Obtuse” by a grammatical nightmare calls out the PTG Champion, PJ Black, who is getting cheers tonight opposite the more hated Miz.

Corey Graves: Black missed out on his chance this evening, Joey. He could have cashed that in for a chance at the World title while Wes Ikeda was busy having his nervous breakdown.

Joey Styles: Black is still waiting for what he feels is the perfect moment.

The two men circled each other. PJ turned away for a moment to acknowledge a growing cheer from the crowd, and the Miz pounced on him, throwing punches to the back of the head and knocking him to his knees.

Joey Styles: An aggressive start from the Miz!

Corey Graves: A win tonight is his ticket back to the heavyweight title picture, Joey, so you know he is going to use every trick in the book!

Black pushed Miz off but Miz was right back on top of him, not letting him get to his feet. Black pushed him off again, and this time Miz charged with a running big boot. He pulled Black away from the ropes and covered for a one count. Miz tried to pull Black up into a rear waistlock, PJ kicked behind to nail Miz in the inner thigh and double him over, then springboarded off the ropes to kick Miz in the face. He went for the pin.

1 2! Kickout!

Miz threw a lariat on his way to his feet, catching PJ off guard. Miz stomped Black and continued to beat him as he struggled to his knees. Miz grabbed him and drove his head into the mat with his Snap DDT. Miz went for another pin.

1 2! Kickout!

Miz pushed Black against the ropes then whipped him across the ring. Black grabbed the ropes to stop himself from rebounding. Miz ran at him, Black ducked and pulled down the top rope, causing Miz to tumble to ringside.

Joey Styles: The Darewolf seeing an opening, he hits the ropes!

Corey Graves: Corkscrew plancha to Miz on the outside! Black pulling out the stops here as well, he needs to hold onto the belt three more months until he gets another chance to cash it in.

Black rolled Miz back into the ring and perched himself on the apron, looking for a springboard. He went flying and Miz countered him with a dropkick in midair. Miz stalked the recovering Black and grabbed him from behind.

Joey Styles: Miz looking for the Skull Crushing Finale! Black not letting him lock the arms in place!

Corey Graves: Now that’s improvising! Miz slamming Black’s head into the turnbuckle instead and now drags him back into the center of the ring. SKULL CRUSHING FINALE!

Joey Styles: Going for the cover!

1!

3---No! Kick out!

A frustrated Miz aggressively whipped PJ Black into the corner. He charged in for his Awesome Clothesline. PJ lifted his knees at the last possible minute to catch Miz in the face. A dazed Miz stumbled backwards, and PJ grabbed him for an STO to lay him out.

Joey Styles: The Darewolf is going up to the top rope!

Corey Graves: Get your cameras out! Here comes the FOUR FIFTY SPLASH!

Joey Styles: It connects! Cover!

1!

3!

DING DING!

Christy Hemme: Here is your winner, and STILL Path to Glory Champion, PJ BLACK!

Corey Graves: The Miz’s string of bad luck continues, Joey.

Joey Styles: And PJ Black’s string of impressive victories does as well! Wes Ikeda and Chris Jericho, and anyone else in the world title hunt, better be prepared. If he cashes that title shot in, he’ll be bringing a lot of momentum with him!

MATCH FOUR

Dolph Ziggler and Sami Zayn entered to their own individual theme songs while The Last of Us entered together. The crowd was buzzing for this hotly anticipated tag team match.

Kevin Owens was about to start things off against Sami Zayn, but then tagged out to Punk to the boos of the crowd. He walked around ringside taunting the fans. Zayn hit the ropes, tagging Ziggler as he bounced off, and ran past Punk to dive out of the ring onto Owens! The two rivals began brawling all around the ring.

Dolph Ziggler used his amateur wrestling background to ground Punk inside the ring. Punk tried to fight his way out but Ziggler would grapple him again and bring him to the mat. Punk tried to reach the ropes to force a break but Ziggler rolled him back to the center of the ring and transitioned into a backslide for a two count. After kicking out, Punk landed a roundhouse to the head.

Corey Graves: The Straight Edge Savior getting the advantage now.

Joey Styles: While out at ringside, a war still rages ah!

Corey Graves: Kevin Owens just came flying over our announce table, and Joey narrowly avoided getting taken out for the second pay per view in a row!

Owens climbed over the barricade and Zayn gave chase, they continued to brawl through the crowd. Punk pressed his advantage in the ring with some Muai Thai strikes, and tried to follow up with grounded elbows to the neck. ZIggler powered to his feet and speared Punk into the corner. He whipped him across the ring and followed with a Stinger Splash then a swinging neckbreaker for another two count. Punk regained control by side stepping a super kick and wrapping Ziggler around the waist for a release German suplex.

Back in the crowd, Zayn clotheslined Owens over a guardrail, sending both tumbling several feet to a tech area. Both men struggled to recover from the fall. Ziggler countered a backdrop attempt into a Famouser for a close two count and gave Punk the heartstopper elbow drops.

Corey Graves: We have a wrestling match inside the ring and a pier six brawl outside of it!

Joey Styles: Kevin Owens has wrapped that power cord around Zayn’s neck! He is choking him in the tech area!

Zayn struggled to get free, but Owens used his grip on the cord to toss Zayn through the air and into a table full of equipment, sending sparks everywhere! Owens slowly made his way back to the ring, leaving Zayn in a heap. Ziggler went for another Stinger Splash but Punk caught him with a boot to the face, then a running dropkick. Seeing Owens on the apron, Punk dragged Ziggler over and tagged him in. He hit a double arm backbreaker while KO climbed the ropes.

Corey Graves: Welcome to Chicago!

Joey Styles: And a Bullfrog…Splash! Owens going for the cover!

1!

2!

Kick out!

Owens tagged Punk back in, draped Ziggler over his knee and held him for Punk to hit the Macho Man elbow drop off the top rope.

Corey Graves: An homage to the Demolition Decapitation Device! That has to be it!

1!

2!

Th-No!

The two men took turns tagging in and beating on Ziggler, but still could not score a three count. Punk as the legal man finally pulled him into the middle of the ring and hoisted him up onto his shoulders.

Joey Styles: CM Punk calling for the GTS. Go! To!

Ziggler slid off his back and nailed him with a superkick. Both men went down, when the crowd suddenly erupted for Sami Zayn appearing on the apron. He cheered Ziggler on and got the tag before Punk could stop him. Zayn nailed Punk with a clothesline, then a second one. Punk tried to return his own but Zayn caught the arm and transitioned him into the Half and Half Suplex. Owens ran into the ring but Zayn dodged him and sprung off the ropes to hit a tornado DDT.

Joey Styles: Sami Zayn, all fired up!

Corey Graves: Exploder into the turnbuckle! A hard landing for KO!

Zayn saw Punk getting to his feet in the corner and charged.

Joey Styles: Helluva Kick to Punk!

He turned and saw Owens in a similar position on the other side of the ring.

Corey Graves: Helluva Kick to Owens!

He went for another kick into Punk but Punk dodged at the last minute. Zayn caught his leg on the top turnbuckle. When he got himself free, he turned around into the Punk corner Shining Wizard. Punk was about to execute the bulldog follow-up but was distracted by Dolph Ziggler on the apron. The two had a shouting match until Zayn interrupted by shifting Punk’s leg and leaping out of the corner.

Joey Styles: BLUE THUNDER BOMB!

1!

Corey Graves: Kevin Owens on his way to make the save!

2!

Joey Styles: Dolph Ziggler with a double leg takedown to stop him!

3!

DING DING!

Christy Hemme: Here are your winners, DOLPH ZIGGLER and SAMI ZAYN!

Joey Styles: A small measure of revenge for Ziggler and especially Zayn, but what will the Last of Us have in store for EBWF next?

MATCH FIVE

Joey Styles: Still to come, Chris Jericho challenges the EBWF World Champion Wes Ikeda in a Wrestlemania rematch, but first, Velvet Sky takes on the EBWF Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss!

"Angel on my Shoulder" hit and the crowd cheered as Velvet Sky headed to the ring. When Velvet was in the ring, "Crushed" by Parkway Drive hit, and the cheers quickly turned to boos as Alexa Bliss made her way down the ramp. Upon entering the ring, Alexa taunted Velvet with the championship, then handed the title to the referee. The referee held the belt in the air and called for the bell. Alexa and Velvet locked up, and Velvet went for a snapmare. Alexa blocked it, countering with a neckbreaker. Velvet got to her feet, and Alexa whipped her against the ropes, before hitting a dropkick. Both women got to their feet and Alexa whipped Velvet against the ropes once more, this time hitting an over the shoulder arm drag. Alexa then hit the Glitz Flip, and hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!

Corey Graves: A strong start by Alexa Bliss! The Women's Champion has dominated the match in these early stages.

Alexa went to apply a keylock on Velvet, but Velvet fought out of it and got to her feet. She whipped Alexa into the corner, running at her and hitting a clothesline. Alexa staggered out of the corner, and Velvet took her down with a one-handed bulldog. Alexa got back to her feet, and Velvet set her up for a northern lights suplex, but Alexa blocked it and took Velvet down with a DDT. She stomped on Velvet several times, then pulled Velvet to her feet and hit a snap suplex. She hooked the leg once more – 1... 2... Velvet kicked out! Both women got to their feet, and Alexa went to whip Velvet against the ropes. Velvet reversed it, sending Alexa into the ropes, then took her down with a shoulder block. Alexa got to her feet and Velvet hit a snapmare, then as Alexa sat up, Velvet hit her with a shoot kick to the back of the head. She pulled Alexa to her feet, and set her up for the Beauty-T... but Alexa blocked it, then got behind Velvet and lifted her up for a back drop.

Joey Styles: Great counter by Alexa Bliss!

Velvet and Alexa both got to their feet, and Alexa hit an STO, slamming Velvet down onto the mat. Alexa went to the top rope, hitting the Sparkle Splash! She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Joey Styles: It's over! Alexa Bliss retains the title!

Corey Graves: What a performance from the young superstar, Joey!

MATCH SIX

Corey Graves: It is time for the main event!

The lights went out and “Break the Walls Down” hit. This brought out Chris Jericho who was in no mood for showboating to the crowd. “Sound of Madness” hit next and Wes Ikeda proceeded to the ring with Natalya at his side.

Joey Styles: Natalya is at her husband’s side. She turned on her best friend Trish this evening.

Corey Graves: That seems to be a family tradition.

Wes proceeded to the ring, and Jericho was already jawing off to him. Natalie stayed on the outside. Wes got inside and held the championship up to Jericho’s face. The two men exchanged words and the referee got between them, breaking them up. The crowd was hot for this matchup.

Joey Styles: Here they go!

Ikeda was aggressive early on with a running cross body block followed by punches. Jericho followed up with a back body drop over the top. Wes teetered on the ring apron then a dropkick from Jericho sent Wes to the floor. Jericho played to the crowd now, and they were behind him.

Corey Graves: Wes got his clock cleaned there.

In fact Wes was shaking off that spot, and pulling himself up. He slid back in under the bottom rope and charged at Jericho for a big clothesline. Jericho was knocked flat to his back, and Wes out a foot in his chest, and did the “Heel Jericho” pin, flexing as he did. Jericho grabbed Wes’ boot, and pulled him down to his back. Jericho got up, and Wes was on his knees. He grabbed the referee around his waist, using him to get up. “Dude, he’s killing me!”

Corey Graves: Mr. Ikeda complaining that Jericho is a little too much for him tonight.

Joey Styles: He did come in hot, Corey.

Jericho had come close to warn Wes, but he seemed to have fallen into a trap because Wes slammed him with a back elbow. It wasn’t enough though as Jericho hit a big suplex onto the top rope and then a vintage Jericho dropkick that knocked Ikeda to the floor.

Joey Styles: Wes can’t stay on his feet.

Jericho landed yet another suplex. Jericho put on a chinlock. Wes fought out of the hold which frustrated Jericho, who responded by hitting him with a dropkick. Jericho went for the pin, but Wes kicked out again at two. Jericho didn’t slow the momentum and attempted a slingshot into the bottom rope. Wes countered with a bulldog and shoved Jericho into the turnbuckle.

Corey Graves: The champion is mounting a comeback!

Wes met a charging Jericho with a clothesline followed by a Tornado DDT out of the corner. The crowd popped big when Jericho hit a double axehandle. Jericho got Ikeda with a neckbreaker, and got another two. Ikeda came back with a forearm smash followed by a bulldog. Wes went for another pin and got two.

Joey Styles: This match is just full of pin falls.

Wes was caught as Jericho came back as he applied the Walls of Jericho in the middle of the ring. Wes struggled.

Corey Graves: Jericho is wrenching that knee. Wes is screaming out in pain.

Wes powered to the ropes, and Jericho pulled him back. He tried again and this time he got to the ropes. Jericho broke the hold, and Wes hobbled up. Ikeda sent Jericho out of the ring. Jericho was on the floor for a moment, and when he made his way to his feet, Wes cleared the top rope and nailed the suicide dive by the announce table.

Corey Graves: This doesn’t usually end well for us.

Joey Styles: Stop it! Wes, stop it!

Wes wasn’t listening as he took the cover off the announce table. Then he went back in the ring to break up the ref’s count. Wes threatened the referee and told him to stop counting. Ikeda climbed up on the table and went for a double hook DDT. Jericho wiggled out of the hold, and quickly set up for what looked like an Alabama Slam, but he swung Wes’ instead for…

Corey Graves: It’s Time to Go! Chris Jericho with the… oh no.

Jericho had hit Wes’ set up on him, breaking the table, but it was obvious Wes had taken a sick bump. They replayed it for the viewers at home, and it looked like the champion had not only come down hard on his neck, but also smacked the back of his head off of one of the discarded monitors. The slow mow replay showed Ikeda’s eyes appearing to roll into the back of his head.

Joey Styles: Wes might be out.

Jericho was pacing in front of the now destroyed announce table. The referee threw the “X” with his arms, and trainers at ringside immediately went to Wes’ side. Ever the professional, Jericho continued his pacing as Natalya came to that side of the ring. She began yelling at Jericho.

Joey Styles: Natalya is asking Jericho what he did.

Corey Graves: I think Wes might be hurt here.

Indeed, the trainers were talking to him, and they began putting a neck brace on him to limit his mobility, but before they could clamp it down, Wes was grabbing at it, trying to take it off. Natalie was pleading with him, but he pushed a trainer away. Jericho’s eyes bulged as Wes sat up and used the barricade to get up. Jericho shook his head and headed back into the ring. Wes was slow to follow after.

Corey Graves: This is why Wes is the champion! He’s going to finish this.

Joey Styles: Or Jericho might finish it. Based on the way the champ is staggering…

Wes made it back into the ring, and the two men locked up in a power struggle for a few moments. Jericho tried to turn the counter into the Codebreaker, but Wes fought it off. Then he bounced off the ropes with a lariat. He went for the pin, and took a two count. Wes was incensed as he moved back into a seated position, yelling at the ref. Wes countered a Jericho attack by sending Jericho throat first into the top rope. Wes climbed the turnbuckle.

Corey Graves: What the hell is he doing?

He flew off with a flying elbow, and then he teased “It’s Time to Go”, but Jericho rolled Wes through and locked on the Walls of Jericho going after that knee again. The referee was asking Wes if he wanted to tap, and Wes answered by countering with a small package. Wes hit an enziguri and Jericho kicked out again at two. Wes yelled at him to stay down, and the two went exchanging blows again. Wes missed a right hand, and Jericho recovered by hitting a back breaker on Wes. Wes went flat and Jericho followed up with the Lionsault. Wes grabbed his midsection in pain and began to pull himself to the bottom rope. Natalya was slapping the mat to cheer him on as he pulled himself up. He turned to charge and ate another Codebreaker. Jericho went for the pin! 1…2…3!

Joey Styles: Jericho did it!

Corey Graves: Chris Jericho is the new EBWF World Champion.

Joey Styles: 9 times! Chris Jericho is a nine time EBWF World Champion.

Corey Graves: He has tied Raven for the most world championships in EBWF History!

Joey Styles: And I think he’s just getting started, Corey! We’ll see you next week on Warfare.

Aftermath ended with trainers tending to Wes Ikeda and Chris Jericho celebrating his victory in the ring.
