A King needs a Queen

-The scene opens up to Seth Rollins' Atlanta home. We see him and Paige sitting at the dinner table finishing up their dinner.-
Paige: I just don't know...
Seth Rollins: What better time than now?
Paige: I'm just not sure if I'm ready to get back in the ring quite yet.
Seth: And I know for a fact that you are.
Paige: Is that right?
Seth: That's right.
Paige: And what makes you so sure?
Seth: Well for one you do currently have the best trainer in the world.
Paige: I do?
Seth: I mean...
-He points over to his Breakout Title which is sitting at a chair right next to him and has it's own plate of food in front of it.-
Paige: Does that thing really have to sit at the table with us?
Seth: Of course. She's still eating...
Paige: You realize you treat that thing better than you treat me?
Seth: You know thats not true!
Paige: I mean I've got a salad over here and it's got a steak over there...
Seth: You know she likes red meat...
Paige: I hate you sometimes...
Seth: Yeah but you love me more than you hate me. Seriously though...I don't think that there will be another opportunity like this for a while.
Paige: I know...but what makes you think I'm ready?
Seth: Because I've been training with you for months now. Even before I joined back up with the EBWF we've been hitting the gym harder than we ever have. Plus...all that extra cardio we've been putting in when not working out.
Paige: I am in pretty good shape right now.
Seth: Truth is you're in the best shape of your life. And I know you've been watching this women's roster as much as I have. And I know that there isn't a single woman on the roster who you can't beat.
Paige: You really think so?
Seth: I know so. I think you need to sign up for the Queen of the Ring tournament while you can. That way when it's all said and done we can and will be the King and Queens of the Ring. We are already unstoppable but that will send a serious message to everyone on the roster that we are for real and that we are here to stay.
Paige: I think you're a little too good and talking me into things...
Seth: That mean you're in?
Paige: Yeah...I'm in.
Seth: That's great news! How does it feel?
Paige: It feels good. We've been talking about it a little since you returned to the ring but I honestly didn't expect to be back this soon. These bitches are about to meet a REAL Queen.
Seth: These bitches aren't going to know what hit them. I think we should celebrate with a little cardio. What do you think?
Paige: Yeah we can do that...but the belt stays here...
Seth: But...she likes to watch...
Paige: I'm heading up...if you bring her then you're going to be watching too...
-Paige takes her shirt off to reveal a sports bra to go with her black leggings. She throws the shirt onto Seth's head before walking away as Seth quickly follows her as the scene fades.-
CURRENT DAY
-The scene opens up to Fed Ex Forum in Memphis, Tennessee where Monday Night Anarchy is set to take place in a few hours. It is an action packed card that not only features more first round King of the Ring matches but also the much anticipated rematch between The Miz and Kenny Omega for the EBWF World Championship. We open up to right outside of Seth Rollins' locker room where we see a camera crew accompanying the beautiful Renee Young. She knocks on the door a few times before the door swings open and Seth Rollins walks out wearing his wrestling tights and a 'Monday Night Rollins' shirt. He has the EBWF Breakout Title around his waist and lets out a big smile when he sees Renee.-
Renee Young: Hey there Seth. How are you?
Seth Rollins: Much better now that you've blessed me with your presence.
Renee: Haha quit that you're making me blush!
Seth: How can I help you today Renee?
Renee: Well it's been a while since I got an interview with you and I was hoping I could get a quick one.
Seth: Of course. Go ahead.
Renee: Perfect. Let's jump straight into it. I know you've got a big match tonight. I'll start with the Breakout Title. It's been a while since you won the belt at Wrestlemania and we still don't have a number one contender for the belt. Is there anyone you have in mind or anyone you think will soon challenge you for the belt?
Seth: Honestly I'm not even sure. I do hate the fact that I haven't gotten the chance to defend the belt yet. I do want to and I will against anyone. It really doesn't matter who it is. As far as who I would consider the number one contender...I honestly don't know. There's a lot of new, young guys who are making their debuts and who are coming back. I'm sure one of these guys will show enough that the front office will either grant them a title shot or grant them a shot to become the number one contender. I think right now is a bad time for most belts because as you know we have bigger things going on. At least for the beginning of the King of the Ring tournament a lot of people are going to be involved. I think we've got something like 30 people competing in the King of the Ring Tournament. I'm talking about some of the best wrestlers in the world too. Some of which are newer and some of which are much older and making comebacks to the best federation in the world. I can't speak for anyone else but I personally have a one track mind right now. I love this belt but that isn't what my focus is on right now. With that said I'll gladly put the belt on the line against anyone on the roster. I'm not hard to find either.
Renee: I'm sure you'll have a few people try and take you up on that. You mentioned that you've got a one track mind right now. By that I assume you mean the King of the Ring tournament?
Seth: That's right Renee. As far as I'm concerned that's the only thing that matters right now. There are a lot of great wrestlers in this tournament and there's nothing I want more than to walk through as many of them as possible on my way to the main event of King of the Ring where I will beat whoever makes it through the other side of the bracket.
Renee: As far as the bracket goes. Are you happy with where you were placed?
Seth: It didn't really matter to me where I ended up. As far as I'm concerned I can beat anyone who gets put in front of me. The one thing that nobody wants to see is a motivated Seth Rollins. And that's exactly what they've got right now. I really could care less who I have to beat to win this tournament. I'm going to do it and I'm going to do it in style. When it's all said and done people will remember that I told everyone that I would win this tournament and then went out and did it. There are guys on both sides of the bracket that I've been waiting to get my hands on. So as long as they take care of business I will get the honor of taking them out one by one.
Renee: Who would you say is your biggest competition in the tournament?
Seth: There's only one person who can stand in the way of me and winning this tournament and thats myself. If I do what I have to do then nobody is going to come close to beating me. I will say there are plenty of talented wrestlers in this tournament. A lot of guys who would have a great chance to win it...if I wasn't competing.
Renee: The first round of the tournament started last week on Warfare. You had the week off though. What were your thoughts on the first round thus far? Did anyone stick out to you?
Seth: It was a great show last week and a great beginning to the King of the Ring. A lot of people showed me some things. And while I am very confident in myself there's a reason for that. I'm one of the hardest working wrestlers in this business. I'm always trying to figure out a way to get a leg up on the competition. Which means I watch a lot of tape. I sat back last week and enjoyed the show while I got shitfaced. I wanted to just enjoy a show without worrying about anything except for my next beer. Because of that I can't really say that anyone impressed me last week. When the time comes I will go back and watch the tape that I need to watch. But as far as last weeks show goes there really isn't much for me to say. It was great to see some of these old legends get back in the ring though.
Renee: Tonight will be the second set of first round matches for the King of the Ring Tournament. Is there any match that you're looking forward to besides your own?
Seth: You mean besides the World Championship match?
Renee: Haha yes...besides that match. Of the actual tournament matches are there any that intrigue you or that you are looking forward to watching?
Seth: Has to be The Rock vs. Jimmy Havoc. I think everyone wants to see if The Rock still has it. We all want to see if he's going to take this tournament seriously or not. I think a lot of people are hoping he is but at the same time a lot of people are hoping he isn't. Personally I hope he comes in and puts on one hell of a show and works his way through that side of the bracket. There's nothing I would want more than to meet him in the finals and be the one who ended his chances at being the King of the Ring.
Renee: Before we get to your match I think a lot of people are curious about Paige. How do you think she will do in the Queen of the Ring tournament?
Seth: There's no doubt in my mind that she's going to win it.
Renee: Even with not having wrestled in months?
Seth: She's been training for months. It's not like she's just been sitting back and doing nothing. She's been working hard and I promise you she is going to make some serious noise in the women's division.
Renee: Lastly we get to your match tonight for the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. You drew the newly returned Rob Van Damn as your first round matchup. If I'm not mistaken he was also who you fought in your very first match back to the EBWF. Do you think he is going to fair any better this time around?
Seth: Honestly he's got no chance. I do respect that he's trying to make another comeback. You've got to give it to the guy he's got some balls to keep trying that at such an old age. The thing is not much is going to be different than last time besides a lot more being on the line. Which gives him even less of a chance of beating me than before. The way I see it I'm way better now than when I first came back. I've been working hard for these past few months to get into the best shape that I can. On top of that I'm in a groove that is basically unmatched here in the EBWF. NOBODY has even come close to beating me and that includes RVD. And he's not going to come close this time either. I watched your interview you did with him and honestly I feel bad for the guy.
Renee: Why's that?
Seth: You talked to the guy. He seemed completely out of it to me. He actually believed that he was making his debut this week. I'm not sure if it's because he's taken one too many hits to the head or the old age but that guy doesn't even remember getting his ass kicked by me a few months back. And trust me I'm a pretty memorable loss. I think I'm going to have to beat the memories back into his head. And hey maybe this time after he takes the L, which he will, he won't disappear off the face of the Earth for a few months. Maybe this time he'll man up, realize he was never going to be the King of the Ring, and move on with his career. Not everyone has what it takes to be the best and even less have what it takes to beat Seth Rollins. There's a reason I call it Monday Night Rollins and he's going to find out tonight...the hard way.
Renee: Thank you so much for the interview Seth. I wish you good luck tonight and in the tournament. Before I go though are there any final words you have for RVD?
-Seth turns his attention to the camera as he pulls his Breakout Title off his waist and throws it over his right shoulder.-
Seth: RVD vs. Seth Rollins part 2. I'm sure ten years ago people would be insanely excited about that. I know I would. Hell a lot of the guys on this roster grew up watching you wrestle. A lot of people here have a hell of a lot of respect for you and what you've accomplished in this sport. The thing is I don't give a damn. I'm not the type of guy that likes to live in the past. And even if I was we would go back a few months and see that I've already beaten you once here in an EBWF ring. What has changed since then? Well you've probably been sitting back smoking more weed and getting even dumber, fatter, and more out of shape. Meanwhile I have been busting my ass week in and week out for this company. I've won match after match against legend after legend meanwhile you've been sitting at home probably crying about how I put you out of this company once.
The real question is how are you going to bounce back from this loss. Are you going to run with your tail tucked between your legs like you did last time? Or are you going to man the fuck up and give it your all every single week until you EARN a title shot. Your chances at winning the King of the Ring ended as soon as the bracket was announced. I'm pretty sure deep down even you know that you don't stand a chance against me tonight. My only hope is that you put up a bigger fight this time because quite frankly the last time you were an even bigger disappointment than I was expecting. And trust me I wasn't expecting much out of you. The thing is I know you're capable of giving these fans a match worth watching. I know you're capable of putting on a show for the crowd tonight and showing everyone why you were once one of the best in the sport. I know you're about ten years removed from actually being relevant in this sport but that doesn't mean you can't put up a fight and EARN my respect. Do that and maybe we can talk about you getting a shot at MY belt. Personally I think you're just going to disappoint me...again...
-Seth smiles into the camera before lifting his EBWF Breakout Title high in the air as the scene fades to black.-
