A medley of Christmas music played inside the arena as EBWF Christmas Eve of Destruction went live inside the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Mauro Ranallo: Merry Christmas EBWF Fans and welcome to the bloodiest night on EBWF’s calendar! This is Christmas Eve of Destruction.

Nigel McGuinness: I’m Nigel McGuinness alongside my broadcast colleague Mauro Ranallo.

Mauro Ranallo: And we’re kicking this unholy night off with a Tables Match!

“Eye in the Sky” hit and the crowd cheered.

Mauro Ranallo: He’s baaaacccck!

Matt Sydal came from behind the curtain and threw up a peace sign as the crowd cheered. He ran to the ring and slid in under the bottom rope, turning to wait for his opponent.

YOU KNOW IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BOOM!

The crowd was on their feet for the arrival of Adam Cole, who played to the fans as he sauntered down the ring. He did his usual boom taunt on the ring apron and then got into the ring to throw his arms up. The crowd shouted along with him.

ADAM COLE BAY-BAY!

Mauro Ranallo: Adam Cole is here and the EBWF fans seem to be loving him!

Nigel McGuinness: Yes, Mauro - this man is world famous and right now we’re going to see if he can earn himself a shot at the Breakout Championship.

Christy Hemme: This match is a tables match and the first man to put his opponent through a table will receive a shot at the Breakout Championship! Introducing first, from St. Louis, Missouri, Matt Sydal! And his opponent, from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Adaaaaam Collllllle!

Crowd: Bay-Bay!

Christy left the ring, and the referee rang the bell. Cole and Sydal exchanged shots, and then Cole dropped Sydal over his back and stomped over his head. Cole bailed and pushed a table up against the ropes. Sydal side kicked the table into Cole’s face. Sydal tried pushing the table in the ring, but Cole blocked it and jumped over it, sending the table into Sydal’s face.

Nigel McGuinness: Adam Cole doesn’t want to be anywhere near that table.

Sydal was slightly busted open over his eye.

Mauro Ranallo: We have first blood!

Sydal slid under the bottom rope, and Cole followed him up the ramp where a series of tables were already set up. Sydal fought back with a kick to the gut and elbow shots to the back of the neck. Sydal looked to set up Cole for a pumphandle slam. Cole countered. Sydal pushed the table over and then took a big shot from Cole. Sydal got a huge big boot that dropped Cole at ringside. Sydal tossed a table inside the ring and set up another near the ring. Cole landed a big right.

Nigel McGuinness: Sydal has big plans for those tables!

Sydal returned with a kick and forearms to the back. Sydal threw Cole over the table, went up to the top turnbuckle…

Mauro Ranallo: Adam Cole rolls out of the way! . Sydal then sent Cole back first into the side of the ring. Sydal tossed Cole back inside and dropped an elbow off the second rope. Sydal had Cole up against the ropes with a series of knee shots. Sydal tried kicking Cole from the ring apron to the table below, but Cole hung on with his legs. Sydal propped a table up in the corner, and put Cole on his shoulder. Cole jumped off and leveled Sydal with a series of clotheslines. Cole got a quick snap powerslam. Sydal tossed Cole over the top rope, but Cole landed on the ring apron.

Mauro Ranallo: Adam Cole with the ring awareness there. Holding on to avoid that table!

Sydal missed a big boot. The two exchanged right hands near the table. Sydal had Cole up for a DDT, Cole slid off, kicked Sydal in the stomach and connected with a DDT. Sydal caught Cole with a sidewalk slam. Sydal grabbed the table and slammed it across the chest of Cole. Sydal set the table back up near the corner. He put Cole chest first over the table. Sydal went up to the second rope, but Cole was quickly after him. Cole hit him in the head with hard rights repeatedly, and when Sydal fell forward, Cole kicked him in the head.

Nigel McGuinness: Matt Sydal is completely out of it.

Adam Cole put Matt Sydal on his shoulders to cheers from the crowd, and drove him right through the table! The bell rang immediately.

Mauro Ranallo: Adam Cole has earned a Breakout Championship match!

Nigel McGuinness: What a way to make a statement as a newcomer to EBWF.

A promo for the upcoming Winter vs Allysin Kay match began to play as Adam Cole celebrated in the ring.

The scene opened backstage to find our "Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns.

Nigel McGuinness: It's the Tribal Chief, Mauro.

Mauro Ranallo: So much for Christmas cheer, Nigel.

Nigel McGuinness: Acknowledge Him! Come on Mauro, you know the drill.

Mauro Ranallo: Yeah, whatever you say Nigel.

Roman walked through the corridor backstage as the crowd booed from inside the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. He stopped almost immediately and looked at someone off-camera. The view panned around revealing his cousin Jey Uso!

Mauro Ranallo: Jey Uso!

Nigel McGuinness: What the hell?

Jey Uso stood in front of the Tribal Chief with a smile. Roman nodded and dropped his bags where he stood. Jey Uso opened his arms wide.

Jey Uso: What's up, Uce!

Roman looked at Jey with a cocky grin and then he snapped. Roman grabbed Jey by his throat and tossed him across the floor backstage.

Mauro Ranallo: What the hell is he doing?

Roman picked up Jey off the floor and ripped off his t-shirt as he tossed him into the brick wall. Jey bounced off the brick wall and hit the concrete with a sickening thud. Roman walked over and looked down at Jey crawling up his legs.

Roman Reigns: ACKNOWLEDGE ME!

Jey was bleeding from his forehead. Roman screamed at him demanding Jey to acknowledge him. Jey crawled back to a standing position. Roman shoved him off and then delivered a sickening SUPERMAN PUNCH! Jey flipped backwards across the floor as security rushed to the scene. Reigns tossed a few of the security guards across the floor as he power walked back to Jey. Roman kneeled and began hitting Jey with a fury of right hands. Blood began to trickle down the face of Jey Uso but Roman continued the beat down. Roman slammed the back of Jey's head off the concrete and then shouted.

Roman Reigns: WHY DID YOU COME HERE HUH!?

The crowd booed. Roman stood up shaking with intensity as he stared down at his bloodied cousin and walked off.

Mauro Ranallo: I don't know what I just saw Nigel but this man has completely snapped.

Nigel McGuinness: What does this mean for Eddie Kingston, Mauro? Roman Reigns' opponent here tonight at Christmas Eve of Destruction.

Mauro Ranallo: I'm actually concerned for Eddie Kingston, Nigel. Roman Reigns is on a completely different level right now.

The cameraman stayed with the EMTs assisting Jey Uso backstage before a promo video for Last Survivor began to play.

Christy Hemme: The following contest is the Inferno Match. The rules are simple. The ring will be surrounded by fire and the match will only end once one of the participants is set on fire.

“The Fight Song” by Marilyn Mansion hit the PA System and the lighting in the arena went pitch black save for a lone crimson spotlight on the center stage. Upon hearing the opening guitar riff, the crowd immediately turned hostile as they knew exactly who was about to make her way out to the ring. Their reaction only intensified once the entrance curtain opened and Winter walked out onto the stage. After a few moments of looking down at the ring, Winter started making her way down the entrance ramp.

Christy Hemme: Introducing first… From London, England… She is the Devil… WINTER!!!

Mauro Ranallo: It’s been over a month since Winter turned on her best friend, Becky Lynch. We haven’t seen Becky since.

Nigel McGuinness: Since then, Winter has been on a rampage, destroying all that’s been put in front of her.

Winter made her way to ringside and climbed up onto the apron, between the ropes and the heating unit. After pausing for a few moments, Winter raised her arms and the lighting returned to normal before she entered the ring. Winter turned her attention toward the entrance and waited on Allysin Kay while “The Fight Song” cut out.

“Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio hit the PA system and the reaction from the crowd warmed up a little bit. Once the opening lyric could be heard, the entrance curtain opened and Allysin Kay walked out on the stage, and paused. The camera did a close-up on Allysin’s face in order to show that she had her forehead stapled. Allysin raised her right middle finger and directed it toward Winter while she also raised her left pinky before she started making her way down the entrance ramp.

Christy Hemme: Her opponent… From Detroit, Michigan… She is the AK47… ALLYSIN KAY!!!

Mauro Ranallo: Allysin Kay made a shocking appearance last Monday night on Warfare when she interrupted Winter.

Nigel McGuinness: She had nothing to do with the mind games that were played on Winter, but she just wanted a fight. As I said before, I know of Allysin Kay. I know what she’s capable of. She is one of the most dangerous women in wrestling today. She has dominated every company that she’s been a part of and now, she’s looking to do the same here.

Mauro Ranallo: As you can see, there are staples in Allysin’s forehead.

Nigel McGuinness: Allysin was working out earlier today and Winter attacked her with a sledgehammer. She doesn’t need any motivation to fight. She just fights, but tonight, she’s more than motivated.

Allysin made it to ringside and climbed up onto the apron before she entered the ring. She glared at Winter while “Gangsta’s Paradise” cut out. The lighting in the arena became focused on just the ring as the fire came up through the heating units surrounding the ring. Then, the opening bell sounded.

Mauro Ranallo: The bell has sounded and we’re gonna need the burn ward on standby.

Nigel McGuinness: Yeah, this won’t be pretty.

When Allysin and Winter came together in the middle of the ring, it took very little if any motivation for the two women to start trading blows. Back and forth, back and forth, both women rapidly threw punches at each other, as each competitor tried to force the other to back off first.

Mauro Ranallo: Annnnd, they’re off.

Nigel McGuinness: Can you blame them? Winter was challenged face-to-face, which took guts from Allysin. Winter tried to catch Allysin off-guard last week, and failed. She caught Allysin off-guard today, and Allysin’s looking for payback.

Allysin and Winter continued to throw punches at each other until Allysin managed to get her arm up to block an incoming punch before she punched Winter in the face, which caused her to back up. Winter attempted to throw another punch, but Allysin got her arm up and punched Winter in the face again, which caused Winter to back up again. Winter attempted to throw a punch for the third time, but Allysin got her arm up and punched Winter in the face again, which caused Winter to back up into the Northeast corner. With Winter in the corner, Allysin continued punching. Allysin punched Winter in the face - one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten , eleven times - before Winter fell to a seated position in the corner, but Allysin’s onslaught didn’t stop there. Now that Winter was in a seated position in the corner, Allysin started stomping at her. Allysin stomped Winter - one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten times - before she stopped and brought Winter up to her feet in the corner.

Mauro Ranallo: Allysin Kay is showing some tremendous aggression here.

Nigel McGuinness: I’m not surprised. She’s always aggressive, but with what happened earlier today…

Once Allysin brought Winter to her feet in the corner, the Devil poked the AK47 in the eye before turning the tables on her. With Allysin in the Northeast corner, Winter whipped her to the opposing corner, the Southwest corner, and gave chase. Once Allysin hit the corner, she instinctively got her foot up, causing the face of Winter to collide with the boot of Allysin. With Winter momentarily stunned, Allysin grabbed her by the shoulders and threw the Devil right into the Southwest corner with enough force that Winter nearly went over the ropes and into the flames.

Mauro Ranallo: The power of Allysin. She almost ended the match right there.

Nigel McGuinness: Yeah, no kidding, but I don’t think she wants to end it this early. She wants to make Winter suffer first.

With Winter in the corner, Allysin started punching at her body. She landed - one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten - blows on Winter’s stomach. She landed - one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten - blows on Winter’s ribcage, and finished off with one hard punch right on her jaw. After the flurry of punches, Winter stumbled out of the corner and Allysin grabbed her by the hair. With Winter’s hair in her hand, Allysin walked her over to the Northwest corner, and she rammed the face of Winter right into the turnbuckle.

Mauro Ranallo: This isn’t how I expected this match to start out. Allysin is in firm control.

Nigel McGuinness: You don’t know her very well, do you?

Allysin grabbed Winter by the hair with both hands and turned her around. With Winter facing her now, Allysin kicked her in the stomach twice before bringing her out of the corner by her hair. With Winter out of the corner, Allysin dragged her closer to the ropes and tried to throw her over the top rope and into the fire, but Winter managed to pull back at the last second and pushed Allysin away from her, saving herself from the flames. When Winter approached Allysin, the AK47 grabbed her by the throat and started choking her, and she tried to back Winter into the ropes. With Winter against the ropes, Allysin lifted her legs up with her free arm and tried to throw Winter over the top rope.

Mauro Ranallo: Winter’s close. She’s dangerously close to the fire.

Nigel McGuinness: She’ll have to do something quick or she’ll be a human french fry.

Allysin inched Winter closer and closer and closer to the fire. When it seemed like Winter was about to be dropped into the flames, she managed to punch Allysin in the face - one, two, three, four, five times - before kicking her away. Winter approached Allysin and Allysin grabbed her by the head. With Winter’s head in her hands, Allysin took her down with a Snapmare, and Winter landed in a seated position. With Winter in a seated position, Allysin kicked her violently in the side of the head, knocking the Devil down to the mat. Allysin reached down and grabbed Winter by the hair, and pulled her up to her feet. With Winter’s hair in her hands, Allysin rammed her face first into the top turnbuckle of the Southeast corner. Allysin turned Winter around and started choking her with her right boot.

Mauro Ranallo: Winter is in a lot of trouble right now against this newcomer.

Nigel McGuinness: I expected Allysin to be dominant. She knows how to get the job done.

Allysin let up on the choking and grabbed Winter by the hair again, and she whipped Winter into the Northwest corner, and she gave chase. Once Winter hit the corner, she caught the oncoming Allysin with a back elbow to the face, which knocked Allysin for a loop. Winter lifted Allysin up and threw her down with a Scoop Slam. Allysin quickly got up and Winter ran at her, and nailed her in the face with a Running Dropkick. Allysin rolled over to a seated position and Winter stomped on her chest. Allysin got up to one knee and Winter punched her in the face, which brought her to her feet in the process and backed her into the Southeast corner. Winter approached Allysin and the AK47 kicked the Devil in the stomach twice. Winter punched her in the face before biting her forehead, trying to pull the staples out of Allysin’s head.

Mauro Ranallo: Winter’s trying to pull the staples out of Allysin’s head with her teeth.

Nigel McGuinness: She’s no stranger to being absolutely barbaric. Just ask Becky Lynch if you can find her.

Winter backed off momentarily before she started stomping at Allysin’s midsection. She stomped at Allysin’s midsection - one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten times - before choking Allysin with her boot. After a few moments, Winter backed off and Allysin dropped to a seated position in the corner. Winter ran into the corner in order to hit the seated Allysin with a dropkick.

Mauro Ranallo: The tide of this match has turned and it’s now Winter in control.

Nigel McGuinness: I wouldn’t count Allysin out, though. Winter might be in control right now, but she can’t let up. That was the mistake Allysin made, and it cost her.

Winter got to her feet and Allysin got to her knees. Without hesitation, Winter kicked Allysin in the side of the head causing Allysin to fall to her back. With Allysin lying on her back on the mat, Winter dropped an elbow right into the throat of the AK47. Allysin sat up while clutching her throat, and Winter kicked her in the side of the head again, which knocked her back down to the mat. Allysin staggered to her feet, and Winter ran at her and she knocked Allysin down with a huge Clothesline. Allysin staggered up to her feet again and was on somewhat wobbly legs. She approached Winter with the latter punching the AK47 in the face, which forced Allysin to back off momentarily. Allysin approached Winter again, and again Winter punched Allysin in the face, this time knocking Allysin down to the mat. Winter grabbed Allysin by the hair and pulled the AK47 up to her feet. With Allysin’s hair in her hands, Winter backed Allysin into the ropes, and tried to throw her over the top and into the fire.

Mauro Ranallo: Now, Allysin is close to the fire.

Nigel McGuinness: She needs to fight out of it.

Allysin was teetering and Winter was getting closer to winning the Inferno Match. However, it wasn’t time for Winter to open that bottle of Johnnie Walker Black just yet as Allysin punched Winter - one, two, three, four, five - times, which forced Winter to back away. Allysin approached Winter and kicked her in the stomach before she punched her - one, two, three, four, five times - backing Winter into the Southeast corner. With Winter in the corner, Allysin punched her - one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten - times before she backed off momentarily. Winter staggered over to Allysin and attempted a kick. Allysin caught Winter’s foot and spun her around, only for Winter to take her down with a Clothesline.

Mauro Ranallo: For a moment there, I thought Allysin was mounting a comeback.

Nigel McGuinness: Winter was smart enough to put a stop to it.

Winter picked Allysin up by the hair and attempted to throw her over the top rope and into the flames, but Allysin managed to elbow Winter in the ribs - one, two, three times - before pushing her away. Winter fired back with a kick to Allysin’s stomach and a punch to Allysin’s face before she grabbed her by the hair again. This time, she rammed Allysin face first into the turnbuckle of the Northwest corner. Winter walked over to the Southwest corner and yelled at the time keeper to throw her a chair, and the time keeper complied by throwing a chair into the ring. Winter picked up the chair and Allysin approached her. When Winter turned around, she swung the chair and a violent crack was heard when Winter nearly wrapped the chair around Allysin’s head. The camera zoomed in on Allysin, and it showed that the staples in her forehead were busted.

Mauro Ranallo: What a brutal chair shot from Winter, and Allysin’s forehead is busted once again.

Nigel McGuinness: Some people faint at the sight of blood. Others become even more dangerous. Allysin is the latter.

Back in the ring, Allysin used the ropes to pull herself up to her feet and Winter approached her. Allysin managed to hit Winter with a back elbow to the face before she whipped Winter to the ropes. After Winter bounced off the ropes, Allysin lifted her up for the AK47 (Yokosuka Cutter) but Winter fought out of it. Without hesitation, Winter dropped Allysin with the Frost Bite (Swinging Side Slam) and Allysin landed next to the chair. Winter walked over to the chair and kicked it away right as Allysin reached for it.

Mauro Ranallo: Allysin almost dropped Winter with the AK47, but Winter was able to counter into the Frost Bite.

Nigel McGuinness: This might be it. All Winter has to do is roll Allysin into the fire.

The Devil reached down to grab Allysin’s now blood-soaked hair and pulled her up to her feet. Winter attempted to throw Allysin over the top rope, but somehow, someway, Allysin fought out of it by elbowing Winter in the stomach - one, two, three, four, five times - forcing Winter to back off. Allysin walked over to the chair and picked it up. Right when Winter turned to face the AK47, Allysin cracked the Devil right in the face with the chair before throwing it out of the ring. When Winter got up to her feet, she slowly turned to face Allysin, who lifted Winter up and dropped her with the AK47 (Yokosuka Cutter). Both women were down.

Mauro Ranallo: There’s the AK47! Both Allysin and Winter are down.

Nigel McGuinness: Whoever gets up first has the advantage.

After a couple of minutes, both women started to stir and managed to get up their feet. Allysin ran at Winter, the latter of whom knocked Allysin down with a Big Boot. Winter walked over to the Southwest corner and slowly climbed up to the top rope. Meanwhile, Allysin kipped up and glared at Winter. Allysin walked over to the ropes on the south side of the ring and shook the top rope, causing Winter to lose her balance. Allysin walked over to the Southwest corner and climbed up to the top rope. With Winter in her grasp, Allysin took Winter down to the canvas with a huge Superplex. The impact causes the fire to rise high enough to engulf the ring ropes. Both women were down again.

Mauro Ranallo: I don’t believe it. That was a hell of a superplex!

Nigel McGuinness: Those flames engulfed the ropes!

Back in the ring, Allysin and Winter slowly but surely got up to their feet. Allysin approached Winter and grabbed her by the hair. She ran toward the ropes on the west side of the ring with Winter and threw Winter over the ropes to the outside.

Mauro Ranallo: MAMMA MIA! Allysin sent Winter to the outside! I think she’s won!

Nigel McGuinness: I think she missed the fire!

The camera crew quickly approached Winter and it was revealed that she just barely missed the fire and the match had to continue, but how could it? Winter was on the outside and Allysin was on the inside. Winter decided that it was fruitless for her to attempt to get back in the ring. So, the Devil decided that she would start walking up the ramp, much to the anger of the onlooking crowd.

Mauro Ranallo: There’s no way back into the ring, so Winter’s just heading out.

Nigel McGuinness: And Allysin can’t even get out of the ring.

Winter continued to walk up the ramp and then stopped. She turned toward the ring, and laughed as she watched Allysin try to leave the ring. Winter backed up the ramp until an explosion of pyro shot up through the stage. Winter whipped around to see what was happening.

Mauro Ranallo: What was that?

Nigel McGuinness: Pyro malfunction?

The pyro continued burning, and this cut off Winter’s escape route. Laughing could be heard through the PA system as Winter backed down the ramp. As Winter slowly backed toward the ringside area, Allysin climbed up to the top turnbuckle and lay in wait. Once Winter was close enough, Allysin jumped off and took Winter down with a flying clothesline. Both women got up and Allysin attempted to throw Winter into the fire, but Winter slipped out at the last moment. Winter was about to push Allysin into the fire, but then “Celtic Invasion” by CFO$ hit the PA System, and the crowd went wild.

Mauro Ranallo: What?! That’s Becky Lynch’s music! Is she here?!

Nigel McGuinness: I don’t know! She isn’t scheduled to be here!

The camera did a close up on Winter’s face. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. With this distraction, Allysin pushed Winter into the fire and the Devil’s back caught the flame. “Celtic Invasion” was replaced by “Gangsta’s Paradise.”

Christy Hemme: Here’s your winner… ALLYSIN KAY!!!

Mauro Ranallo: Allysin beat Winter!

Nigel McGuinness: Even though she didn’t need it, Allysin got an assist from Becky Lynch.

The referee raised Allysin’s arm. Meanwhile, Winter was seen walking away with her back still on fire, the look of rage on her face.

Mauro Ranallo: Up next, we’ve got Eddie Kingston versus Roman Reigns in a “Sadistic Madness” match… the rules of this match mean you have to make your opponent bleed before you can pin or submit them, so this is sure to be a violent contest!

Nigel McGuinness: Absolutely, Mauro. This is going to be more of a fight than a wrestling contest!

“Cold World” hit and the crowd cheered as Eddie Kingston made his way to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: And here comes Eddie Kingston, who could be wrestling his final EBWF match… he says that if he doesn’t beat Roman tonight, he will leave EBWF!

Nigel McGuinness: Talk about putting unnecessary pressure on yourself… especially against a man like Roman Reigns! You saw what he did to his cousin Jey Uso earlier… and what he did to his friend Jon Moxley on Warfare. He doesn’t even like Eddie Kingston, so what sort of punishment is he going to inflict on the “War King”?

When Kingston was in the ring, “Head of the Table” hit and the crowd booed as Roman Reigns stepped out onto the stage. Reigns walked slowly down the ramp, ignoring the crowd completely as he headed to the ring. As Reigns entered the ring, Kingston immediately got in his face and began talking smack. The bell rang and the two men exchanged right hands back and forth. Reigns hit Kingston with a knee to the midsection, then lifted him up for a bodyslam… but before he could hit it, Kingston began raking the eyes! As Reigns cried out in pain, Kingston jumped down and raked Roman’s back, before kicking him in the back of the leg, knocking him down onto one knee. Kingston then went to kick Reigns in the face, but Reigns ducked out of the way and got to his feet, before hitting Kingston with a huge European uppercut! As Kingston clutched his jaw, Reigns grabbed him and lifted him over his shoulders, hitting a Samoan drop. Reigns yelled “Acknowledge me!” to Eddie, stomped on him several times, then rolled out of the ring, lifting up the ring apron and grabbing a kendo stick from underneath the ring. Reigns slid back into the ring, and as Kingston got to his feet, Reigns cracked the kendo stick over his head, breaking the kendo stick in half!

Mauro Ranallo: A vicious shot with that kendo stick, but not enough to draw blood!

Kingston looked dazed and Reigns threw him into the corner, then hit him with repeated clotheslines before throwing him out of the ring. Roman followed Kingston to the outside, but Kingston grabbed the steel steps and threw them at Reigns, hitting him in the face! Kingston then lifted up the ring apron and pulled a table out from underneath the ring, but before he could set it up, Reigns ran at him and took him down with a clothesline. Reigns then grabbed a still chair, and drilled it into Kingston’s abdomen several times.

Nigel McGuinness: If Eddie Kingston starts coughing up blood, does that mean Reigns can pin or submit him?

Mauro Ranallo: I think so, Nigel… the rules just state that you have to make your opponent bleed, it doesn’t stipulate where or how!

Reigns pulled Kingston to his feet and slammed his head off the ring post, then threw him back into the ring. As Reigns re-entered the ring, he went to hit Kingston with a big boot but Kingston ducked out of the way, then grabbed Reigns from behind, hitting a back drop. Kingston rolled out of the ring and grabbed the table he had gotten earlier, sliding it into the ring. Kingston then grabbed the steel chair and as he re-entered the ring, he hit Reigns with the chair, then set the table up in the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: I’m not sure it’s going to make him bleed, but Eddie Kingston wants to put Roman Reigns through a table!

Kingston turned around to grab Roman Reigns, but as he did so, Roman grabbed him by the throat, lifting him up and Chokeslamming Kingston through the table! Reigns then went to pin Kingston, but the referee refused to make the count as Kingston wasn’t bleeding. Reigns was heard saying “fine, I’ll make him bleed then!” as he exited the ring. Reigns went underneath the ring and pulled out a small black bag. He reached into the bag, taking out a set of brass knuckles, then re-entered the ring. As Kingston got to his feet, Reigns hit the Superman punch using the brass knuckles! The shot busted Kingston’s forehead open, and as he fell to the mat, Roman made the cover. The referee counted - 1… 2… Kingston kicked out!

Nigel McGuinness: I don’t believe it!

As Kingston got his shoulder up, Reigns grabbed him and punched him several times with the brass knuckles, drawing more blood. Kingston’s face was now covered in a crimson mask, and Reigns pulled him to his feet, setting him up for a powerbomb… but Kingston countered with a back body drop! As Reigns got to his feet, Kingston swung around, hitting him with the Uraken! Kingston then exited the ring, grabbed a towel and wiped some of the blood from his face, before lifting up the ring apron and pulling out a black bag of his own. Smiling sadistically, Kingston re-entered the ring and opened the back, pouring thumbtacks all over the ring mat.

Mauro Ranallo: Kingston knows he needs to make Roman bleed if he wants to win this match, and he’s decided thumbtacks are the way to do it!

Kingston grabbed Reigns and dragged him towards the thumbtacks, then set him up for a piledriver… but Reigns broke free and hit Kingston with a low blow! Reigns then stepped back, ran against the ropes and hit Kingston with a Spear onto the thumbtacks! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… 3!

Mauro Ranallo: Thank god it’s over!

Nigel McGuinness: Roman Reigns becomes the number one contender for the Gateway Championship, and if I were Edge I’d be watching over my shoulder.

The referee called for the bell and went to raise Roman’s arm in victory. Reigns slapped his hand away then put his foot on Kingston’s chest, raising both hands up triumphantly as “Head of the Table” blasted over the PA system. Reigns looked down at Kingston and yelled “Acknowledge me!” once more, then exited the ring and made his way to the back.

Mauro Ranallo: Up next, we’ve got a Last Woman Standing match as Alexa Bliss takes on Britt Baker!

After a video package recapping the rivalry between Baker and Bliss, “Papercut” by Linkin Park hit and the crowd cheered as Alexa Bliss made her way to the ring. When Bliss was in the ring, “The Epic” by Downstait hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Britt Baker stepped out onto the stage.

Nigel McGuinness: Britt Baker talked about wanting Alexa Bliss to unleash her “dark side” in this match… is she going to regret it? Whatever happens, this is sure to be a thrilling contest!

As soon as Baker entered the ring, she charged towards Alexa Bliss, taking her down with a spear and then punching her on the mat several times. She pulled Alexa to her feet and lifted her over her shoulder, hitting a back-to-belly piledriver, then rolled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair. Baker was about to re-enter the ring with the chair, but before she could do so Bliss hit her with a baseball slide, kicking the chair into Baker’s face! Baker fell to the ground and as Bliss exited the ring she picked up the steel chair, hitting Baker across the back with it several times. Bliss placed the chair on the ground and set Baker up for a DDT onto the chair… but Baker blocked it and shoved Bliss backwards, knocking her into the ringside barrier. Baker then threw Alexa into the ring steps before reaching underneath the ring, getting out a table. She set the table up at ringside, then grabbed Bliss and placed her on the table. Baker climbed to the top rope and went for a diving senton… but Bliss rolled out of the way! Baker went through the table, and as she laid on the ground, the referee began counting. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… Baker got to her feet. Bliss grabbed her and threw her into the ring, then went underneath the ring, grabbing a ladder. She slid the ladder into the ring, then grabbed Britt Baker, hitting a powerbomb onto the ladder!

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia! That might have broken Britt Baker’s back!

Nigel McGuinness: She should just be glad it isn’t a razor wire board, Mauro!

Baker lay motionless on top of the ladder, and once again the referee began counting. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… Baker stumbled to her feet. Bliss whipped Baker into the corner then hit a corner dropkick, causing Baker to fall into a sitting position. Bliss placed the ladder in front of Baker… then hit a low dropkick, slamming the ladder into Baker’s face!

Mauro Ranallo: Oh my god! Britt Baker has been busted open!

The camera zoomed in on Baker, who had blood trickling down her forehead. Smiling, Alexa grabbed the ladder and placed the top of it on the bottom rope, then pulled Britt Baker to her feet. She set Baker up for a suplex onto the ladder… but Baker blocked it, turned Bliss around, then hit a reverse STO onto the ladder! Both women were down, and now both women were bleeding. The referee began counting. 1… 2… 3… 4… Baker got to her feet… 5… 6… 7… 8… Alexa got up just as the referee was about to count 9. Baker grabbed her and hit a DDT, then rolled out of the ring, grabbing a steel chair. Baker re-entered the ring with the chair and drilled it into Alexa’s midsection. As Alexa fell to her knees, Baker placed the chair down in front of her and hit a curb stomp, slamming Alexa’s head into the chair!

Nigel McGuinness: Curb stomp onto the chair! That has to be it!

As Alexa lay motionless on the mat, the referee began counting once more. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… 9… Alexa got to her feet! Baker looked stunned. The crowd were delighted, and began chanting “This is awesome!”. Baker hit Bliss with a big boot, then reached into her shorts and pulled out a black glove, which she placed onto her right hand.

Mauro Ranallo: Is Britt Baker thinking of applying the Lockjaw? This is a Last Woman Standing match… she can’t make Bliss submit!

Nigel McGuinness: No, but if she applies that hold for long enough, Mauro, she may cause Bliss to pass out!

Baker grabbed Bliss and applied the Lockjaw, but Bliss was able to roll over and break free. As both women got to their feet, Bliss hit a swinging neckbreaker, then followed it up with the Insult to Injury. Alexa then rolled out of the ring and went underneath the ring once more… this time she pulled out a razor wire board!

Mauro Ranallo: That looks like the same razor wire board she used to injure Tam Nakano back in January… Britt Baker could be in all kinds of trouble here!

Alexa slid the board into the ring, then re-entered the ring and grabbed Britt Baker. She set Baker up for a powerbomb… but Baker countered with a back body drop, dropping Bliss onto the razor wire! Bliss cried out in pain, and as she rolled over, several cuts could be seen on her back. Baker was heard yelling “you deserve it!” She then pulled Bliss to her feet, dragged her towards the steel chair she had brought into the ring earlier and lifted Bliss over her shoulder, hitting a tombstone piledriver onto the chair! As Bliss got to her feet, the referee began counting. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… 9… 10! The referee called for the bell.

Nigel McGuinness: Alexa Bliss said either her or Britt Baker would be leaving in an ambulance… but after what we’ve just witnessed, I think both of these women will need medical attention!

Baker celebrated, then made her way to the back as the referee checked on Alexa Bliss.

"Unbreakable" by Cage9 hit and the crowd cheered loudly as Stone Cold Steve Austin made his way to the ring carrying a barbed wire chair and had a bandage on his forehead while dressed in a flaming skull version of the Austin 3:16 shirt and cut off jeans.

Mauro Ranallo: Stone Cold will definitely be looking for revenge not only for what happened last week but also for personal comments made by MJF earlier this week.

Nigel McGuinness: Oh so it's alright for Austin to trick MJF into a Barbed Wire match but Maxwell makes a few light hearted jokes and it's wrong.

Mauro Ranallo: Nigel there is nothing funny about trauma in someone's personal life.

Nigel McGuinness: You're just biased for whoever the fans like.

Stone Cold threw the chair into the ring before entering under the barbed wire ropes and turned his attention to the stage. “Better than you” hit the speakers and…Richard Holliday…walked out onto the stage. He stopped and waited, looking towards the entrance, before Maxwell Jacob Friedman limped onto the stage, heavily favoring his left leg, dressed in a bright red suit, his trademark Burberry scarf around his neck and his right arm in a sling. He raised a microphone to his mouth with his right hand, before realizing his mistake and switching it to his left hand.

MJF: Cut my music, cut my music! Steve, I’m sorry to break this to ya pal, but I got into a pretty unfortunate accident last night, and I’m not going to be able to wrestle tonight. You see, I have a letter signed by my own private physician and witnessed by Holliday’s lawyer slash father that says I’m not medically cleared for tonight’s match. Believe me, I’m as disappointed as you are Steve, but according to my physician, I put my back out carrying this company…

Austin received a microphone from a crew member before he turned his attention back to MJF.

Stone Cold: If your back is out then why are you in a sling and limping?

The crowd cheered realizing that MJF might have been caught in a lie.

Stone Cold: Boy you really are a stupid son of a bitch,now since your dumbass just got caught in a lie why don't you get in this ring and get what's coming to you.

MJF conferred with Holliday, before looking back towards Austin.

MJF: My associate has assured me that without medical clearance, I can’t have a match with you tonight…and if you try to make me, HIS LAWYER SLASH FATHER WILL SUE YOUR ASS!

MJF adjusted his lapel.

MJF: That said, I feel like it would be a disservice to you and these fine people…these people…if I stopped them from seeing you wrestle tonight, so you will, in fact, be facing one of The Dynasty tonight…it just won’t be yours truly.

“Everything Blessed” hit as KC Navarro stepped out onto the stage, but after seeing Austin standing in a ring of barbed wire, looked surprised and turned back to Max. Some fairly simple lipreading allowed the words “didn’t tell me it was Austin” to be understood as KC argued with MJF. MJF noticed an impatient Austin exit the ring and charge up the ramp, and pushed KC Navarro into his path while MJF and Holliday ran to the backstage area.
Austin nailed KC with a Clothesline and picked him up before he threw him into the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Austin is done waiting.

Stone Cold entered the ring and picked up the barbed wire chair. KC got to his feet and turned around into a nasty chair shot to the head.

Mauro Ranallo: OH MY GOD.

Nigel McGuinness: This is wrong.

Austin picked up KC again who was now bleeding and hit the Stone Cold Stunner. Austin quickly made the cover.

The Dynasty quickly opened the door and jumped into the vehicle, which made it to the exit of the parking lot as Austin ran into shot.

Stone Cold: COME BACK HERE YOU SON OF A BITCH.

Austin ran to his truck and entered it before he sped off after Dynasty.

Mauro Ranallo: Austin is gonna chase Dynasty out on the road.

Nigel McGuinness: Someone call the police.

Mauro Ranallo: Well folks we gotta get ready for the Breakout championship match.

After a 2021 recap of EBWF’s greatest shows played, the camera returned to the ring which was set up with a glass table with champagne and two sofas. "Ballers Anthem" hit and the crowd booed as MVP made his way to the ring wearing a gray suit and sunglasses.

Mauro Ranallo: Well ladies and gentlemen, I guess we're gonna have an episode of the V.I.P Lounge.

MVP entered the ring and received a mic from a crew member.

MVP: I'm in the V.I.P Lounge and that can only mean one thing: BIG THINGS POPPIN, LITTLE THINGS STOPPIN, so sit back relax and enjoy the view because the V.I.P Lounge is for people better than you.

The crowd booed loudly as MVP had a smug look on his face.

MVP: Now before I get to my guest I have to inform everyone that The All-Mighty Bobby Lashley has….quit EBWF.

The crowd erupted in cheers as MVP shook his head.

MVP: See this is why he quit. Blatant disrespect from everyone, especially all of you jealous, untalented, BASTARDS.

The crowd immediately Booed at MVP's insult.

Mauro Ranallo: Well, what does MVP expect after the way he and Lashley have treated people recently?

MVP: Now, my guest tonight from what I've been told is EBWF's newest signing. Someone who apparently is extremely talented and who could be a game changer in 2022. So without further ado let's bring them out.

Nigel McGuinness: I wonder who it is, Mauro.

Mauro Ranallo: It sounds like it's a big signing.

After a few moments of silence "Unsettling Differences" by Blue Smock Nancy hit and the crowd cheered loudly as Kevin Steen walked out from behind the curtain dressed in sweatpants and a Kill Steen Kill shirt.

Mauro Ranallo: OH MY GOD IT'S KEVIN STEEN.

Nigel McGuinness: Oh NO!

Steen entered the ring with a smile on his face and grabbed a microphone from a crew member. MVP had a look of shock on his face as he spoke.

MVP: Ke..Kevin Steen?

Steen laughed.

Kevin Steen: What's wrong MVP? Are you not happy to see me?

MVP: Wow Kevin Steen back in EBWF! How are you man?

Kevin Steen shrugged.

Kevin Steen: I'm doing really well and by the way for any of you that guessed 12-24-21 you are correct. You'll get a prize after the show I promise.

The crowd cheered as Steen continued to laugh.

Kevin Steen: MVP you should be happy about this because it seems like whenever something special happens you want to be a part of it. For example, last time you did this was with Alexa Bliss and it was special because it was her birthday and she had a big match with Trish Stratus coming up and stuff.

Mauro Ranallo: You know he's got a point.

Kevin Steen: So now you hear that a big signing happened and you jump at the chance to have me on this show. Hey, it's alright. Everyone's gotta make a living especially now that your boy Lashley quit.

MVP looked frustrated.

MVP: Instead of bad mouthing me how about you tell us your goals in EBWF.

Mauro Ranallo: I think Kevin Steen has gotten under the skin of MVP.

It's gonna be Kill Steen Kill.

Kevin Steen nailed MVP with a Superkick and picked him up before hitting a Package Piledriver.

When we returned to the arena, “New Day, New Way” began to play and King Xavier came through the curtain to applause from the crowd.

Mauro Ranallo: King Xavier is new to EBWF, but he’s already making an impact. Tonight he’ll take on Christian Cage for the Breakout Championship.

“TakeOver V2” hit and Christian came onto the stage with the Breakout Championship. He walked down the ramp and joined Woods in the ring as the Cell began to lower around them. Once it was in place, the bell rang, and Woods drop kicked Christian immediately. Christian quickly fought back and punched him in the corner before delivering some shoulder thrusts to the midsection. Christian hit a neckbreaker for a one count. Woods rolled Christian up for a two count. Christian quickly attacked Woods and hit a flatliner. Christian hit a second flatliner while looking at Woods. Christian hit a third flatliner for a near fall.

Mauro Ranallo: The cage is bringing the brutality out of Christian!

Nigel McGuinness: It’s all in the name, isn’t it Mauro?

Christian threw Woods out of the ring. Christian blocked a chair to the head. Christian threw it at Woods and punched the chair into his face. Christian put Woods in the corner and sized him up. Christian charged, but hit the ring post when Woods moved. Christian fell out of the ring. Woods caught Christian with a big baseball slide followed by a second one. Christian angrily got on the apron, so Woods drove the chair into him to knock him into the cage. Woods attacked him with the chair on the floor.

Mauro Ranallo: Xavier Woods is trying to keep Christian down!

Nigel McGuinness: A title is at stake here.

Christian clubbed away at Xavier. Christian stopped Woods from bringing out a kendo stick and sent him into the cage wall. Christian put Woods in the ring and stood on him. Christian elbowed away at Woods. Woods tried for a desperation roll-up, but Christian didn’t leave his feet.

Mauro Ranallo: The resolve of Christian Cage!

Woods hit the ropes, avoiding clotheslines, and hit a chop block that sent Christian stumbling back. Woods hit a dropkick and started hitting Christian with the kendo stick. Woods knocked him out of the ring and came off the apron with a kendo stick shot. Woods dug the point into his neck and continued to smack him with the stick. Woods got Christian back in the ring. Christian blocked a shot, but Woods stunned him with a right hand and kicked him. Woods hit a rolling facebuster for a near fall. Woods charged, but Christian dropped him onto the apron. Woods hit a slingshot DDT for a near fall. Woods set up a table in the ring. Christian attacked Woods and went to powerbomb him through the table, but Woods got out. Woods superkicked Christian onto the table and went to the top rope. Woods hits a big flying elbow drop on Christian through the table!

Mauro Ranallo: Woods is going to pin him here!

A recap video of the feud between AJ Styles and Blaine Ikeda wrapped up and the camera panned to the announce table.

Mauro Ranallo: We're going to join EBWF Cameras outside where an unsanctioned parking lot brawl will take place between these two men.

The scene went to the parking lot area, and found burning headlights coming toward the camera. Blaine Ikeda pulled up in a McLaren and stepped out of the car. He heard screeching tires and quickly looked to his right before rolling to his left. A speeding pickup truck drove by and slammed into the nearby bay of dumpsters. AJ Styles opened the door of the pickup and could be heard laughing as Blaine got to his feet. Blaine reached behind him and found a baseball bat, picking it up. Styles walked up to Blaine, and he tried to take a swing, but stopped short when AJ hit him in the midsection knocking the wind out of him. The bat clanged to the concrete and Styles rolled Blaine up on the concrete.

One rocked Blaine, and sent him backward. Styles went to slam a garbage can on him, but Blaine moved. Blaine pulls Styles into a concrete pillar to take him down.

Nigel McGuinness: Blaine is looking for an escape route!

Indeed, the young Ikeda was headed for a door and disappeared behind it, leaving the parking area. When AJ got back to his feet he went to follow after him, but when he opened that same door a fire extinguisher sprayed, blinding AJ. Blaine walked back out into the garage and buried the fire extinguisher in AJ's ribs. Blaine knocked AJ back down to the concrete. Blaine hit a pump kick.

Blaine Ikeda: Just quit, AJ!

Styles was down in front of his own truck truck. Blaine punched away at Styles. Styles fought back at Blaine and takes him down. Blaine tried to crawl away, but Styles kicked him. Styles knocked Blaine into the side of the truck, and then hit a double axe handle onto the concrete. A grunt left Blaine's body and AJ went for the pin, but Blaine kicked out at two.

AJ Styles: You're as stubborn as your old man!

Styles dropped the tailgate of the truck, and climbed up to stand in the bed of the truck. Styles comes down for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Blaine superkicked him out of mid-air!

Mauro Ranallo: MAMA MIA. AJ didn't see that coming!

Blaine tried to pick him up, but Styles slid out, and hit him in the back of the head. AJ backed Blaine against the pillar and laid hard jabs into his ribs. AJ grabbed Blaine by the head and drove the back of it into the pillar. Blaine slunk down onto the concrete, and AJ got him to his feet.

Mauro Ranallo: This is getting... oh!

AJ whipped Blaine into a nearby vehicle, but quickly grabbed his arm again and threw him into the dumpsters. AJ scooped Blaine up and put him on top of the closed dumpster. The camera caught blood dripping from Blaine's temple.

Nigel McGuinness: Blaine Ikeda is bleeding from his head. I'm not sure he knows where he is.

Styles climbed up on the dumpster and pulled Blaine to his feet. They exchanged right hands. Blaine stumbled and AJ hit him with a right hook. Blaine fell backward off of the dumpster and...

Mauro Ranallo: Through the windshield! No, someone has to put a stop to this!

Nigel McGuinness: It's an unsanctioned match. Styles just has to pin him.

Blaine was bleeding from pieces of glass lodged in his arms and he held his midsection, vacillating between coughing and groaning.

AJ Styles: You wanted to be a big man, huh?

AJ jumped off of the dumpster onto the concrete floor. He went behind the dumpster talking the whole time.

AJ Styles: Daddy wouldn't stand up for the family, so you just had to, right?

AJ came from behind the dumpster with a cinderblock in both hands.

Mauro Ranallo: Oh no. Oh no.

AJ went over to the car and put the cinderblock on the roof. He climbed up on the hood, and stood over Blaine, who was fighting to keep his eyes open. AJ leaned over and picked up the cinder block.

Before AJ could finish that thought an animalistic growl was heard off camera. AJ twisted his head around and dropped the cinder block beside the car before he was tackled off of his feet and onto the concrete floor!

Mauro Ranallo: Wes Ikeda! Wes Ikeda! He's seen enough, Nigel.

Wes had mounted AJ, who was putting his hands up to protect his head from the onslaught of punches. AJ kneed Wes in the midsection and that gave him an opening to grab him about the neck. AJ countered and put on a sleeper. Wes struggled.

AJ Styles: There he is. I knew you'd come.

Wes was fading, and AJ let go of his throat letting him get a breath before pulling him to his feet and whipping him into the pillar. AJ advanced on Wes who leaned against the pillar and began hitting him with hard right hands. Wes stumbled out and began walking away from AJ. Leading him farther away from Blaine, and to the other side of the parking lot.

Mauro Ranallo: Wes has to be concussed.

He slowed, and AJ stalked him. AJ walked up to him quickly, and Wes turned just as fast, knocking the wind out of him. Wes sent AJ flying over some equipment crates. Wes moved slowly around the crates, but as he bent down AJ swung upward with a wrench in hand. He struck Wes across the face. Blood filled Wes' mouth. Wes sputtered. AJ looked up when he heard thunderous footsteps slapping the concrete. The wrench was still in his hand as Randy Orton ran into the frame from one direction. AJ's head was on a swivel, expecting security. But from the other direction came Chris Jericho. Randy and Chris looked at each other for a moment and then each took a step toward AJ, who raised the wrench. Wes spit blood out onto the concrete, and sputtered.

Wes Ikeda: Get him out of here!

Indeed, Blaine had tried to slide off the car and was stumbling toward the scene. AJ kicked Wes in the ribs and he slumped forward a little but didn't fall down.

Wes Ikeda: Take him! Go!

It took a split second, but Randy and Jericho nodded slightly to each other, and then went to Blaine, supporting him on each side and leading him away.

Mauro Ranallo: Wes has been left to his own devices and... oh!

AJ had moved the wrench into his left hand and began hitting Wes in the face with rights.

Nigel McGuinness: Someone has to stop this.

Wes wouldn't fall over, but he was teetering. He grabbed AJ by the pants as if he was going to try to pull himself up, but AJ lifted his left arm and hit Wes in the forehead with the blunt end of the wrench. Wes was wearing a crimson mask in moments and finally fell over. AJ laughed, going back to the equipment crate and finding a pack of zip ties resting on top.

AJ Styles: You wanted to be the hero didn't you?

AJ came back with a zip tie. Wes groaned as AJ grabbed his arms and put them behind his back. AJ zip tied Wes arms behind him, and pulled him back to his knees. He picked up the bloodied wrench again and crouched down into Wes' bloody face.

AJ Styles: But you couldn't save him could you?

He taunted Wes.

AJ Styles: Now he's hurt bad. And you're hurt real bad. And you couldn't save him at all. Just like you couldn't save your daughter. Just like you couldn't save Bel...

Wes pursed his bloodied lips and spit a mouthful of blood right into AJ's face. AJ stumbled back, eyes wide, and began to charge forward but was quickly seized by a throng of security guards.

Security Guard: Get him out of here. Get him...

They were dragging Styles away as he continued to taunt Wes. The camera focused on Wes on his knees, blood dripping down his face and off his chin. Suddenly, Natalya was beside him with a handful of medical personnel. Natalya put a hand on each of Wes' shoulders and he finally collapsed against her as he was tended to by the paramedics. The camera returned inside the arena, focusing on Mauro and Nigel at the announce table.

Mauro Ranallo: I'm just in shock.

Nigel McGuinness: We'll try to update you on the status of Blaine and Wes Ikeda as soon as we have an update.

The scene faded and a video package highlighting the upcoming Women's Title Match began to play.

Mauro Ranallo: Up next, Raquel Diaz defends the Women’s Championship against Leva Bates in the Library of Violence!

The camera cut to the ring, which had been set up like a miniature library. The ring mat had been covered with a black carpet, and around the ring there were bookcases, a desk with a laptop on it, several plants and a library cart. “Geek” by MC Chris hit and the crowd cheered as Leva Bates made her way to the ring. As she entered the ring, Bates looked around at her “Library of Violence” and smiled.

Nigel McGuinness: Leva Bates right at home here… will that give her an advantage and allow her to take home the gold?

“Kingdom” by All Good Things hit and the crowd booed as Raquel Diaz stepped onto the stage. Diaz stood at the top of the ramp and held up her Women’s Championship, taunting Bates and the crowd, then headed down the ramp. After Diaz had entered the ring, Christy Hemme introduced both superstars, then the referee called for the bell. The two women locked up, and Diaz threw Bates into one of the bookcases! The bookcase fell over, sending books flying everywhere, and Diaz picked up the biggest book she could see, then hit Bates across the face with it. Bates fell to the mat, then rolled out of the ring. Diaz followed Bates to the outside, then hit her with a series of punches. As Bates tried to fight back with punches of her own, Diaz hit her with a knee to the midsection, then lifted her up, suplexing her onto the ring apron! Diaz slid back into the ring and pulled Bates away from the ropes, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1… 2… Bates kicked out! Diaz pulled Bates to her feet and set her up for a northern lights suplex… but Bates countered it into a sunset flip powerbomb!

Mauro Ranallo: What a counter!

Bates hooked both legs and the referee counted - 1… 2… Diaz kicked out! Bates got to her feet and grabbed the laptop off the desk. She waited for Diaz to get up, then hit her across the face with the laptop, smashing the laptop to pieces! Diaz was understandably dazed, and Bates lifted her over her shoulders, hitting a fireman’s carry takeover onto the desk!

Nigel McGuinness: You can tell that desk is a lot thicker than the tables you normally see in a wrestling ring… it didn’t break when Leva Bates slammed Raquel Diaz onto it!

Diaz rolled off the table, clutching her back. Bates hit her with a powerslam, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1… 2… Diaz kicked out! Bates pulled Diaz to her feet and hit her with a series of punches, then stepped back. Bates went for the Superhero Kick… but Diaz ducked out of the way! Diaz picked up one of the plant pots, and as Bates turned to face her, Diaz smashed the plant pot over her head! Bates fell to the mat, and Diaz climbed onto the desk, then hit a leg drop. She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Bates kicked out! As Diaz got to her feet, she looked around the ring for another weapon, and decided on the library cart. She wheeled the cart towards Leva Bates, pulled Bates to her feet, and hit her with a powerbomb onto the cart! The cart bent as Diaz slammed Bates onto it, and Bates landed awkwardly on her neck as she fell to the mat. The referee tried to check on her, but Diaz shoved him aside, then put Bates in the Lasso from El Paso! Leva tapped out and the referee called for the bell.

Christy Hemme: Your winner… and STILL the Women’s Champion… Raquel Diaz!

The referee handed Diaz her championship, then raised her arm in victory. Diaz celebrated as a video package for the Tag Team Championship match began to play.

"Booyaka!"

The crowd gave a mixed reaction to Rey and Dominik Mysterio as they made their way down to the ring. Rey was giving Dominik some last minute advice as they walked towards the ringside area. They both stopped and looked with grim determination as they surveyed the area. Inside the ring, a calamity of weapons, equipment, and explosives littered the squared circle. Particle boards lined with C4 were affixed to each of the corner turnbuckles, ensuring a violent result for anyone forced into them. 10-15 ladders surrounded the ringside area, with chairs everywhere and the Tag Team Title belts suspended 12 feet in the air.

Christy Hemme: The following contest is a TLC4 match, and it is for the EBWF World Tag Team Championships! Making their way to the ring, from San Diego, California, Rey and Dominik MYSTERIO!

Mauro Ranallo: I don't think we have to really say it, Nigel, but this match is not for the squeamish.

Nigel McGuiness: You're not kidding, Mauro. This match is a few rolls of barbed wire short of a deathmatch, and I think Rey and Dominik are realizing that right now.

They tentatively stepped into the ring, looking around as they waited for their opponents.

"You Think You Know Me...."

Heavy strobe lights flickered across the stage as the crowd erupted for the Rated R Superstar. The Gateway Championship was over his shoulder, and the Tag Team championship title was around his waist. With an unendingly confident smirk, he casually gestured in the direction of the entrance.

"Go back to sleep!"

Randy slowly stepped out from behind the curtain, his Tag Team title belt clasped around his waist. He smirked as the crowd cheered for them. They both surveyed the ring and, without even a flicker of concern, headed towards the steps.

Christy Hemme: And their opponents. First, from Saint Louis, Missouri...Randy...ORTOOOOON! And his tag team partner, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he is the EBWF Gateway Champion, the Rated R Superstar, EDDDGEE! They are the EBWF Tag Team Champions, Rated...R...K....O!

Mauro Ranallo: Well I don't know how they're doing it, but Randy Orton and Edge don't seem to have a lick of concern between them.

Nigel McGuiness: The two of them have a collective 25+ years experience in EBWF, Mauro. Randy has the least experienced of the two, and this is his thirteenth Christmas Eve of Destruction! Neither of these guys are strangers to the violence of this event.

Mauro Ranallo: A part of you is never prepared for this, Nigel. No matter what you do.

Nigel McGuiness: This is part of the business. Randy Orton and Edge have been remarking that there is no competition left in the EBWF. They say they're desperate for a challenge. Well, wish granted Mauro! This match is about as challenging as you can imagine. A TLC match where each corner of the ring is rigged with explosives!

The referee called for the bell and then quickly headed out of the ring and headed to the timekeeper's desk. Randy and Edge stared down the team of Rey and Dominik Mysterio, neither team looking intimidated by the other.

Mauro Ranallo: And here we go!

Randy lunged at Rey Mysterio and the two began exchanging blows as Edge and Dominik locked up.

Nigel McGuiness: And the smarted thing the referee has done is to get out of the ring and out of the way for this one. This is not going to be pretty!

Edge twisted Dominik's wrist into a wrist lock, and Dominik did and impressive summersault and kip up, reversing the pressure and locking up with Edge. On the other end, Rey Mysterio immediately kicked Randy in the gut and attempted to whip him into the corner. Randy put on the brakes and the crowd exhaled.

Mauro Ranallo: This match is literally rigged to blow. It really changes the strategy when one irish whip into the corner could end the match.

Nigel McGuiness: I love it!

Randy clobbered Rey Mysterio with an elbow and attempted to throw him into the explosive rigged corner, but Rey raked him into the face and clotheslined him outside. The two brawled outside as Edge and Dominik continued to battle each other inside the ring. Dominik whipped Edge into the ropes and ducked as Edge leapfrogged him. They both ran at each other with the same idea and hit cross bodies on each other, causing both men to collapse onto the mat, clutching their abdomen.

Mauro Ranallo: Both of these teams are very interested in ending this one early!

Edge and Dominik were slow to get up, but Edge got up first. He kicked Dominik and went for a powerbomb. Aiming for one of the C4 rigged corners, Edge lifted Dominik up, but Dominik reversed into a huracanrana! Edge went careening towards the C4, but put his hands up and stopped just short of the corner. The crowd gasped again, but Edge whipped right around and went for a clothesline against Dominik. Rey's son ducked underneath and connected with a superkick on Edge, sending him stumbling back. Ringside, Randy and Rey Mysterio were exchanging blows near the announce table. Mysterio got the upper hand, throwing Randy shoulder first into the barricade. Randy winced as Rey closed in on him, laying in several stomps on Randy's shoulder. Rey picked Randy up and laid him down on the announce table, punching him several times to keep him still. He mounted the apron and turned to face the prone Orton on the announce table.

Mauro Ranallo: Rey has violent intentions here...

With a quick leap, Rey went for a body splash and Randy sprung up and caught Rey in an RKO onto the announce table! The table made a loud crunching noise, but didn't break. Randy winced heavily, gripping his shoulder as he rolled off the announce table, Rey motionless on the top of it.

Nigel McGuiness: An RKO out of nowhere, and Randy has the worst luck of all wrestlers!

Randy didn't hesitate and got back on the table, picking Rey back up. He jumped up and hit a second RKO on Mysterio, and crashed into the announce table again. And once again, the table refused to break to Randy's dismay. He groaned in pain again, rolled off the table and looked into the ring. Dominik turned to see Randy approaching him, slowly dawning on him that he was all alone. Randy and Edge both grabbed chairs and stalked the younger Mysterio. He glanced back at his motionless father then looked back at Rated RKO. Deciding to try and fight his way out, Dominik went after Orton furiously with rights to try to get him off his vertical base. Before he could get an upper hand, however...

Crack!

Dominik dropped to his knees, clutching his back after Edge smacked a steel chair into his spine. Randy circled the vulnerable third-generation Mysterio as Edge slid a chair underneath his head.

Mauro Ranallo: Oh no. They're gonna...

Nigel McGuiness: Looks like Dominik is about to get a conchairto!

Randy leaned down close as the crowd gave a mixed reaction. The mics picked up Randy saying something quietly to Dominik:

Randy Orton: Welcome to EBWF, kid.

Randy stood straight and brought the chair above his head, and brought it crashing down on Dominik's skull. Dominik's body jolted from the impact, and then went motionless.

Mauro Ranallo: Oh my god! That was sickening!

Nigel McGuiness: This is about the championships! Rated RKO would pull out all stops to...

Nigel was interrupted as the lights went out in the arena. The crowd gasped as the sound of laughter filled the entire space.

Mauro Ranallo: That's got to be the Fiend!

Indeed as the lights came back on, The Fiend was in the ring, laughing uncontrollably. Randy and Edge immediately made a bee line for him, but the Fiend knocked Edge down with a clothesline and then caught Randy with the Mandible Claw! Randy flailed wildly, but The Fiend held the hold tight as the fans booed the interruption to the match. When Randy went limp, The Fiend went over to Edge and started pummeling him with rights.

Nigel McGuiness: Who can stop this monster?!

The Fiend continued raining blows down on the defenseless Edge until he stopped fighting back. He then looked back towards one of the corners rigged with C4. Grabbing Edge by the hair, he dragged the Rated R Superstar towards the corner.

Mauro Ranallo: Is the Fiend going to do what I think he's going to do?

Nigel McGuiness: Someone has to stop him!!

The Fiend laught as he gripped Edge's hair tightly and moved his face towards the trigger mechanism for the C4 in the corner. The crowd got to a loud murmur as Edge's face inched towards the trigger.

BLAM!!

A big explosion rocked the corner. The crowd gasped as Randy suddenly got up and speared The Fiend through the C4, sacrificing himself for his partner Edge. Holy Shit chants rang out throughout the arena as Randy and The Fiend were motionless amongst a huge plume of smoke. Edge looked at the carnage, utterly aghast. He looked back up at the tag titles and immediately got up, scrambling to get a ladder underneath the suspended belts.

Mauro Ranallo: Edge is trying to do what needs to be done!

As fast as he could, Edge centered the ladder and climbed up the steps, facing no resistance from both motionless Mysterio opponents. At the top of the ladder, Edge quickly unsnapped the belts off the mechanism. The bell rung as Edge dropped the titles to the floor and immediately descended the ladder, quickly moving to check on Randy as their music played. Randy wasn't moving as the Holy Shit chants continued.

Nigel McGuiness: Randy took out the Fiend, but at what cost?!

Edge signalled medical staff to come down as they slid into the ring to check on both The Fiend and Orton.

Mauro Ranallo: I still can't believe what I saw here! Randy and Edge have successfully defended their championships, but Randy looks to be in rough shape after absorbing the brunt of that C4 explosion!

Nigel McGuiness: He did it to save his partner from something much worse! We're constantly hearing narratives about how these two superstars should break up their tag team and either fight themselves or go it alone, but these guys are brothers. There's no doubt about it.

The show faded to a video package for the main event as trainers continued to look at Orton.

After a video package played recapping the build-up to the World Title match, the camera cut back to the arena. At the bottom of the ramp, a Christmas tree had been set up, and around the tree were various pieces of musical equipment including a drumkit, a microphone stand, a set of speakers and several guitars.

Mauro Ranallo: It’s time for our main event… 11-time EBWF World Champion Chris Jericho challenges reigning World Champion The Miz in the first ever “Rock Around the Christmas Tree” match!

“Judas” by Fozzy hit and the crowd cheered as Chris Jericho stepped out onto the stage. Jericho was wearing black tights and a black and red leather jacket, complete with spikes on the shoulder pads. Jericho looked around at the crowd, then made his way down the ramp. Jericho entered the ring just as Judas reached the chorus, and he grinned as the crowd sang along. As his music was cut, he removed his jacket and stared down the ramp, awaiting the arrival of The Miz. “I Came To Play” by Downstait hit and out walked Paul Heyman, holding the EBWF World Championship above his head. Heyman began walking towards the ring, but Miz was nowhere to be seen.

Nigel McGuinness: What is going on here?

Mauro Ranallo: Hey, wait a minute!

The camera cut to the ringside area, showing Miz hopping over the ringside barrier. Miz then slid into the ring and attacked Jericho from behind! The referee abruptly called for the bell, and the crowd booed as Miz knocked Jericho down to the mat, then stomped on him several times. Miz followed up with a knee drop, then rolled out of the ring, grabbing one of the guitars from ringside. He took the guitar into the ring, and when Jericho was up, Miz smashed the guitar over his head! Jericho fell to the mat, and Miz hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1… 2… Jericho kicked out! Miz got to his feet and stomped on Jericho several more times, then pulled him to his feet and set him up for the Skull Crushing Finale… but Jericho blocked it, countering with a dragon suplex! Both men got to their feet and exchanged punches back and forth. Jericho was able to gain the upper hand, and he whipped Miz against the ropes, then ran after him and hit a clothesline, sending Miz over the top rope. Jericho followed Miz out of the ring and grabbed him, throwing him into the Christmas tree!

Mauro Ranallo: So much for rocking around the Christmas tree… Miz just went through it!

The Christmas tree fell over, with Miz landing on top of it. Jericho grabbed Miz once more, this time powerbombing him onto the tree! Miz cried out in pain and began crawling up the ramp, trying to get away from Jericho. Jericho followed Miz and grabbed him, then dragged him back towards the ring. Jericho threw Miz back into the ring, then turned around and grabbed an electric guitar. As he did so, Paul Heyman passed the EBWF World Championship to Miz. Jericho entered the ring with the guitar and lifted it up, waiting for Miz to turn around… but as Miz turned around, he swung the title belt towards Jericho, hitting him in the face with it! Jericho fell to the mat, dropping the guitar in the process. Miz grabbed the guitar, then sat Jericho up and pressed the shaft of the guitar against Jericho’s neck, choking him with it!

Nigel McGuinness: I’ve been in the wrestling business for over 20 years and I’ve never seen anything like this… Miz is using that guitar to choke out Jericho!

As Jericho tried to break free, Miz released him. Jericho rolled around the ring, clutching his neck, then grabbed the ropes to try and pull himself up. When he was up, Miz grabbed him, hitting an inverted facelock backbreaker followed by a neckbreaker slam. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1… 2… Jericho kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: Jericho is still in this contest, but you have to wonder how much damage Miz did with that guitar… Jericho looks like he’s struggling to breathe!

Miz sat Jericho up and applied a sleeper hold, and as Jericho started to fade, the referee lifted his arm up to see if Jericho was still conscious. As the referee let go, Jericho’s arm fell by his side, and the referee lifted his arm up a second time. Once again, Jericho’s arm fell, and the referee lifted it a third time… but this time, Jericho was able to keep it up! He clenched his hand into a fist, then began hitting Miz with it, forcing Miz to break the hold. Both men got to their feet, and Miz went for a clothesline… but Jericho ducked out of the way, then grabbed Miz from behind and hit a release German suplex! Both men were down for several seconds, then they slowly got to their feet. Miz swung a right hand towards Jericho, but Jericho blocked it, then hit Miz with a backhand chop across the chest. Miz cried out in pain, and Jericho chopped him across the chest several more times, then whipped him into the corner. Jericho ran at Miz and hit a corner clothesline, then as Miz staggered out of the corner, Jericho took him down with a one-handed bulldog. Jericho then grabbed Miz by the legs, locking in the Walls of Jericho!

Nigel McGuinness: Because this match is being fought under hardcore rules, there are no rope breaks! So Miz has to either escape the hold or submit!

As the camera zoomed in on Miz’s face, it was obvious the World Champion was in a lot of pain. He cried to roll over to get out of the hold, but Jericho was able to roll him back over! The camera cut to Paul Heyman at ringside, who looked concerned. Heyman entered the ring and grabbed the World Title, and the crowd booed as he approached Jericho. Hearing the reaction of the crowd, Jericho released Miz and turned to face Heyman. Heyman dropped the title and began retreating, but Jericho went after him, grabbing him and hitting him with a forearm smash. Heyman fell to the mat, and to the delight of the crowd, Jericho put him in the Walls of Jericho! Heyman let out a loud scream and tapped out immediately, but Jericho kept the hold locked in. While Jericho’s back was turned, Miz crawled across the ring, grabbing the World Title. He then got to his feet and ran towards Jericho, hitting him in the back of the head with the title! Jericho fell down, and as Heyman rolled out of the ring, Miz grabbed Jericho, dragging him back to his feet and hitting the Skull Crushing Finale! The crowd booed as Miz hooked the leg, grinning cockily. The referee counted – 1… 2… Jericho kicked out just before the 3! Miz looked stunned, and the crowd let out a huge cheer, then began chanting “Y2J!”

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia… I thought for sure Miz had Jericho beat there!

Nigel McGuinness: Miz was sure he had it won too, Mauro… look at him, he can’t believe it!

Miz yelled at the referee, then exited the ring and kicked the drumkit in frustration, knocking it over. Miz picked up one of the drums, throwing it into the ring, then grabbed the two cymbals off the drumkit. As Miz re-entered the ring, Jericho was slowly getting to his feet. Miz came up behind him, and as Jericho turned around, Miz went to hit both sides of Jericho’s face with the cymbals… but Jericho ducked out of the way! The cymbals made a loud clanging sound as they banged together, and Miz dropped them, then turned to face Jericho. Jericho had picked up the drum, and as Miz turned around, Jericho smashed the drum over Miz’s head! Miz’s head broke through the skin of the drum, leaving him wearing the drum on his head, which seemed to amuse the crowd. Grinning, Jericho picked up the guitar that Miz had choked him with earlier and swung it towards Miz, hitting the drum! The guitar smashed as it hit the drum, and Miz fell to the ground.

Mauro Ranallo: Miz is seeing so many stars right now, he thinks he’s in outer space!

Jericho pulled the drum off Miz’s head, and as the camera zoomed in on Miz’s face, he looked completely dazed. Jericho stepped back, waiting for Miz to get to his feet. Miz slowly got up, and once he was on his feet, Jericho hit him with the Judas Effect! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1… 2… 3! The referee called for the bell, handed Jericho the World Title, then raised his arm in victory. Jericho looked genuinely emotional as he held up the championship.

Nigel McGuinness: What a moment… Chris Jericho is Le Champion once again!

Mauro Ranallo: Look at the emotion on his face, Nigel… this might be his 12th EBWF World Championship, but it still means everything to him!

As Jericho climbed the turnbuckle and raised the World Title up over his head, gold confetti began to fall from the ceiling. Jericho continued to celebrate as the show went off the air.
