King Xavier

Oprah Show

Post by King Xavier »

King Xavier was in Chicago. Oprah Winfrey was an icon on television and in Chicago. He considered her the champ of television ratings and it was an honor for him to arrive at the Harpo Studios being a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show. He arrived in a limo getting out in a three piece suit with a beautiful lady on his arm. She reaches in grabbing his crown and placing it on his head. They walk inside to the VIP area as special guest of Oprah. Once the show starts Oprah seats down to speak as the crowd clapped

Oprah Winfrey: Thank you for that warm reception as always. My first guest today does not need much of an introduction. He is a sports entertainer, king and overall huge personality. Please welcome EBWF King Xavier to the show.

The crowd stands and as he walks out they bow showing the ultimate sign of respect. Greeting Oprah he eventually has a seat as they look at each other.

Oprah Winfrey: It is truly a pleasure having you in studio today, King Xavier. The story of how successful you've been in EBWF has traveled the country fast. Believe me when I tell you it's so hard finding a successful black man in this world of craziness. Yet you sit here with the world at your fingertips and expectations unlimited by your desire to be the best. However, with the company’s biggest event of the year Fallout around the corner you have a tough match-up. Most would not want to face a sneaky individual like Maxwell Jacob Friedman but you wanted this. You asked for a tournament and he is the one who survived that alone makes him dangerous wouldn't you agree?

King Xavier: Oprah, you are absolutely right that Maxwell Jacon Friedman is dangerous but that as not the case when I started for before the new year. I mean this as no disrespect because the man is going to be a legend in the ring but he was afraid when I first arrived. He had one match at the time and was successful so he enjoyed being undefeated which I understand believe me. Times have changed though and the main purpose of my tournament was to push him and others outside their comfort zone. He was sole survivor and still remains unbeaten so the confidence he has is what's dangerous. There is nothing in his mind he can't and won't do to me in order to win the Breakout title. Luckily for MJF I enjoy that kind of challenge. I want to be pushed to my limit by anyone I compete against. It's what makes me a great champion in this company. I expect everyone's best. I want this company to be successful for another decade and showing them at Fallout that I am a leader is what they need. So, Maxwell might be dangerous but this is the biggest match of his EBWF career and all the pressure is on him. Let's see if he can live up to all that talking, he does.

Oprah Winfrey: The man does love to talk but as you stated you have to back up everything you say. This match is going to have and stand out if you want to be remembered. I'm sure it is something you thrive at but how can you steal the spotlight from the main event?

He looked at Oprah. He didn't say anything but the body language said it all. He was ready to be in the spotlight at Fallout.

King Xavier: Oprah the main event is always going to be remembered regardless of what happens throughout the show. That does not mean King Xavier won't try though. I believe making an example out of MJF will do the trick. Every time he speaks, I want to knock him out. Every time I see him, I want to slap the smirk off his face. I blame the parents though as they allowed him to be this way. So as the unofficial king of EBWF it is my duty to discipline him and give his spoiled rotten behind what he has needed since the day he was born. You see people like MJF Oprah are annoying because when you feel entitled you really start believing that. The reality of it all is when Fallout is over MJF will be receiving stitches for the wounds I gave to him. I will still be EBWF Breakout champion and he will fall from the mighty unbeaten. He will be humbled to a level he never thought was possible. We are the opening match which means not only do we set the tone for the show but it's up to us to grab the attention and make a successful show. We will steal the spotlight by doing what we do best and that is entertaining the crowd with an all-out beatdown at the hands of King Xavier. Let's be real for a moment the crowd are always going to enjoy seeing someone destroyed and the fact it's MJF who is hated throughout the world will make it that much better.

Oprah takes a moment and shifts in the chair as she continues.

Oprah Winfrey: I have never been the biggest wrestling fan. I admit there is something about it I don't always understand but you are fun to watch. Some will tell us that change is not always needed but your business demands it. So how do you plan to change your approach in a matchup with MJF?

King Xavier: You have to always mold yourself for this business. The mind has to be sharp and the body is great sharp in order to maintain a successful approach here. It's easy for me to say considering I've only been defeated one time during singles competition but I understand the struggle. My approach in this match is going to be something MJF would not expect. He managed to see a lot of what I can do in the elimination chamber match last week. I can say with confidence though that he has not seen anything yet. MJF thought in his mind that I would reveal everything but why would I? That's why I am smarter than him. It was important for me to have him think he knew me. Then flip the script and the opposite of what he knew.

Oprah Winfrey: We have talked about Fallout, the match itself, and what you plan to change. However, we have not spoken about the individual himself. What do you think Maxwell's biggest flaw is and his strength that you will have to overcome?

King Xavier: That is certainly a loaded question. The man is young, talented, quick and witty. Those four characteristics alone spells trouble for most men. I am not most men though. You see when your quick the easy solution is to slow the match down to your pace which I intend to do. He may be talented but last I looked I'm the one with the gold and I am fairly young myself so if he thinks I am going to be tired from a crazy battle between two complete opposites then he is mistaken. I was built for war and always find a way to survive. In regards to his weakness the biggest one is experience. Yes, he clearly has upside because EBWF doesn't sign just anyone. He is still wet behind the ears though when it comes to getting that competitive edge. I am thirty-five years of age and still trying to mold my competitive nature. It's nothing something you can easily control and the fact he is overconfident is a double edge sword. Long before I was Breakout champion, I learned the hard way that someone is always better than you. In this case it's not Maxwell Jacob Friedman even though his catchphrase would state otherwise. My point is he needs to realize that adversity will happen to every young athlete. It will break them under high stress or it can help them blossom into a respectful wrestler that everyone loves and we already know his path. If you break Maxwell down then overcoming what he can do is not that hard. He is a guy that wants all eyes on him. He wants the match to be perfect so he can brag and watch the ego grow. It's going to a hard pill to swallow at Fallout when the biggest opportunity of his life comes crashing down on top of him.

They take a commercial break and upon returning Opera and Xavier can be seen chatting before adjusting back to the show as they talk.

Oprah Winfrey: What do you think of Maxwell, in general, you know he is going to have a few choice words for you. I hope you will not be pushed to this point but are you willing to sacrifice who you are in order to win. You might have to stoop to his level which we all know is hard to do but the Breakout title seems worth it to you would you agree?

King Xavier: Oprah don't let this face fool you. I can be a low-down cheating bum like Maxwell but it is something I do as a last resort. The fans love me for a reason. It's because I do things the honest way. I represent America in a way most can't understand. There is always going to be someone negative like MJF whispering doubt throughout the world. The power of positivity is stronger than anything he can dish out toward me. You see I don't boost myself up by putting others down like he does. Hell, if you ask him, he will tell you that his God. That alone is a pretty bold statement and got the reputation to ahold. I never make promises that my matches will be clean and cut. This industry is about expecting the unexpected and that's why King Xavier is successful.

Oprah Winfrey: Part of the deal was winning the tournament you gave him the power to choose a stipulation. Do you feel that the stipulation in this match makes it very hard for you to win because he used the ability you gave him and assigned his buddy as guest referee what's your thought on that?

Woods smirked and shook his head. He knew this would come up eventually and what a stipulation it was he thought. He cleared his throat as he spoke with Oprah more.

King Xavier: Oprah you know I thought about that on the drive over. I have to give him credit for stacking the odds in his favor. However, the dynasty is destined to fail when it steps into the ring with me. EBWF is my domain and what is going to happen with MJF when his buddy is forced to count to three? It is going to break his heart and I will be responsible for the failure and downfall of the dynasty. I don't care if he has fifteen referees that are his college snob friends the result is going to be the same. I am glad I gave him the opportunity to pick the stipulation because it will make my victory by me that much greater. It will add to my legacy and nothing will give me a greater joy to watch MJF cry not just because he lost but because dynasty is nothing but failures and can never bring home the gold.

Oprah Winfrey: Last question then I will let you go. You have a long way to go before you can rewrite the history books and be the longest reigning Breakout champion. Assuming you leave Fallout Breakout champion do you have a plan of who would be next for your title? Do you have any final thoughts for MJF?

The king looked toward the crowd then back at Oprah as a relaxed look on his face appeared.

King Xavier: There are plenty of newcomers that would love an opportunity at this title. I do have a couple of folks in mind if I am allowed the opportunity to make a demand or two. Then you have some veterans that might want to come back for a one-time chance. The possibilities are endless when you deal with King Xavier. Now that being said it all depends on the match with MJF. I think he enjoys having control over this situation. It's what he thinks at least but the reality is you were never in control. I choose the tournament. I choose the people and I allowed you the ability to have the stipulation. You fell right into my trap because you're a gullible little man who needs someone like me to make you relevant. Stone Cold wasn't enough now you are coming for royalty and it will not end well for you. Get some rest, Maxwell. You're going to need it because every time you close those eyes you will be living the nightmare of fate bringing us together. See you soon and remember I'm better than you because I'm the champ and you know it.

The crowd cheers as he stands up and gives Oprah a hug. They exchange small talk as the camera fades and the show goes off the air. The focus was on MJF for sure but he always tried to be there for friends. Fallout was going to be LEGENDARY...
