Mauro Ranallo: Happy new year, folks… it’s time for the first Warfare of 2024! Tonight, we are live from Boston, Massachusetts, and later on we will witness Warfare Games… but before that, we’ve got Adam Cole defending the Breakout Championship against Lexis King!
“All About Tha (BOOM!)” hit and the crowd cheered as Adam Cole made his way to the ring. When Cole was in the ring, the Terminator theme hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Lexis King headed to the ring, accompanied by Rhea Ripley and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Nigel McGuinness: Adam Cole’s girlfriend Britt Baker defeated The Rapture’s Rhea Ripley in a brutal Sadistic Madness match at Christmas Eve of Destruction, so you have to wonder if that will give Lexis King added motivation here tonight.
After King had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell. Cole ran at King, going for a big boot, but King ducked underneath it, then took Cole down with an arm drag. As Cole got back to his feet, King put him in a headlock, but Cole broke free and shoved King against the ropes, then hit a superkick, sending King to the outside. Cole followed King out of the ring and slammed his head against the ring post, before throwing King back into the ring. Cole then climbed to the top rope, and hit King with the Panama Sunrise! He hooked both legs and the referee counted - 1… 2… King kicked out! Cole pulled King to his feet and hit a brainbuster onto the knee, then hooked the leg once more. The referee counted - 1… 2… again King kicked out!
Mauro Ranallo: Adam Cole in control here, but Lexis King isn’t going down easily!
As Cole got to his feet, he began stomping the mat, signaling for another superkick. When King was up, Cole went for it… but King sidestepped it, then grabbed Cole from behind, hitting a bridging German suplex! The referee counted - 1… 2… Cole kicked out! King pulled Cole to his feet and set him up for a neckbreaker, but Cole blocked it, countering with a suplex. As both men got to their feet, they began exchanging right hands back and forth. Cole was able to gain the upper hand, and after taking King down with a clothesline, Cole applied a figure four leglock. King was able to get to the ropes, and the referee ordered Cole to break the hold. King used the ropes to pull himself up, and Cole grabbed him, hitting the Florida Keys. Cole then sat King up, pulled down his kneepad and ran against the ropes, hitting King with The Boom! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2… 3!
Nigel McGuinness: It’s over! Another successful night for Adam Cole, but 2024 is off to a bad start for Lexis King and The Rapture!
As Warfare returned from the commercial break, the arena was set up for Warfare Games. The Warfare Games cage surrounded the two rings, two shark cages were in place at the top of the ramp, and the crowd eagerly anticipated the main event. The camera cut to ring announcer Christy Hemme, and as she went through the rules of Warfare Games, they appeared on the screen (for fans watching at home) and on the tron (for fans inside the arena).
Christy Hemme: Your main event this evening is a Warfare Games match! The match will start with one person from each team for five minutes. After the five minutes have expired, a member from the Rebellious Angels team will enter the cage. Each team will alternate sending another member of their team in every three minutes. Once everyone is in the cage, the match will officially begin and can be won by pinfall, submission, or surrender. Now ladies and gentlemen… let the WARFARE GAMES BEGIN!
“Senbonzakura” hit and the crowd booed as all the members of Oedo Tai arrived on stage.
Christy Hemme: Introducing first the team of KAIRI, AZM, Jamie Hayter, and Tam Nakano… OEDO TAI!
Mauro Ranallo: This group has run roughshod over EBWF for months, causing pain and destruction to anyone in their path, but it's safe to say that their opponents have gotten the worst of it.
Nigel McGuinness: Many say that they're the most dominant female group in professional wrestling and it's hard to argue with that statement.
“Senbonzakura” faded out as Oedo Tai stood in front of their shark cage. “Shitlist” by L7 hit and the boos turned to cheers.
Christy Hemme: And their opponents, the team of Winter, Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, and Alexa Bliss… THE REBELLIOUS ANGELS!
The team walked out on stage. Becky was wearing an outfit based off of Poison Ivy, Winter wore a Catwoman inspired outfit with a demonic twist, and Liv N Bliss wore different Harley Quinn inspired outfits.
Mauro Ranallo: The Rebellious Angels team have become the Gotham City Sirens for tonight.
As “Shitlist” faded out the two teams discussed amongst themselves who would start the match. Alexa volunteered to go for her team and walked over to Tam, challenging her to start the match with her.
Alexa Bliss: You and me bitch, let's go.
Nigel McGuinness: There is no love lost between these two long time rivals.
Alexa entered the Warfare Games Cage and continued to challenge Tam. Nakano walked a few steps toward the cage but stopped with a smirk on her face and instead sent AZM to start as the crowd booed.
Mauro Ranallo: This is only AZM's second match in EBWF with her first dating back to October where she defeated Alexa Bliss by disqualification.
Nigel McGuinness: A win is a win to Oedo Tai but AZM can't count on Alexa getting disqualified tonight as there are no disqualifications in this match.
The bell rang to start the match and the two faced off. AZM shouted at Alexa “Party's over Grandma” which caused Alexa to laugh before she slapped AZM hard and shouted back “I'm only thirty two dipshit”. AZM angrily charged at Alexa, but Bliss ducked and hit a forearm smash, knocking AZM down. Alexa followed up with Insult to Injury.
Mauro Ranallo: Alexa has taken control here in the early going and remember, after five minutes another member of the Rebellious Angels will enter the match.
Alexa picked AZM up and bounced her head off one of the turnbuckles. AZM poked Alexa in the eye and hit a dropkick followed up by a German suplex into the turnbuckles. With Alexa seated in the corner, AZM charged and hit a penalty kick to the chest. AZM took a moment to recuperate as she held her jaw, then grabbed Alexa and threw her face first into the cage followed by a dropkick that sent Alexa into the cage again.
Nigel McGuinness: AZM taking control here and with time almost up it's in her best interest to weaken Alexa as much as possible.
AZM taunted the crowd and the camera cut to Alexa who was now bleeding from the head. AZM began to grate Alexa's face against the cage with a look of glee. AZM waited for Alexa to get to her feet and went for a front flip piledriver but Alexa blocked it and hit her with an Alabama slam. Both women were down as the clock hit zero. Liv Morgan ran down to ringside and went under the ring, where she pulled out two baseball bats.
Mauro Ranallo: A very fitting weapon of choice.
Liv entered the cage and yelled “Batter up” as she waited for AZM to get up. AZM got to her feet and turned into a baseball bat shot to the stomach, causing her to fall to all fours. As Alexa got to her feet, Liv tossed the other bat to her, and the crowd cheered as the two women took turns hitting AZM across the back. Eventually they stopped and Liv picked AZM up and hit the 201 Facebreaker. Alexa followed up with a Code Red.
Nigel McGuinness: Usually a series of attacks like that would be it, but the match can't end until everyone is in the cage.
The clock ran out and Jamie Hayter made her way down to even the odds. Alexa tried to cut her off at the door, but Jamie slammed it into her face and AZM hit Liv with a chop block to the surgically repaired knee. Jamie grabbed Alexa's arms and pulled her halfway out the door, then grabbed the door and swung it into Alexa's midsection, causing her to scream in pain. Jamie took the door and swung it into Alexa's midsection again.
Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia, Jamie Hayter showing absolutely no mercy here.
Nigel McGuinness: Alexa has had a history of rib injuries and Jamie is exploiting that.
AZM dragged Alexa to the middle of the ring and climbed up the top rope before hitting a diving double foot stomp. AZM used her foot to push Alexa onto the diamond plate between the rings. Jamie grabbed a few weapons and slid them into the ring including trash cans, trash can lids, and steel chairs. Jamie entered and the two Oedo Tai members turned their attention to Liv who was holding her knee. Liv got to her feet and charged at them but was quickly overwhelmed. AZM grabbed Liv and whipped her to Jamie, who hit her with a spinebuster on one of the trash cans.
Mauro Ranallo: This two on two portion has quickly turned into two on one thanks to Jamie Hayter.
Nigel McGuinness: If this keeps up it might still be two on one when either Becky or Winter enter in the next minute.
Jamie picked Liv up over her shoulder and launched her into the cage. AZM grabbed Liv to prevent her from falling down and held her arms. Jamie grabbed a chair and hit Liv in the head with fury. Liv was now bleeding as the clock struck zero. Winter ran down and quickly entered the cage.
Mauro Ranallo: Winter is gonna have to try and turn things around for her team.
Nigel McGuinness: It's been almost two years since she's been in the ring, you have to wonder if ring rust will play a factor.
AZM charged at the Satanic Diva but Winter stopped her with a kick to the gut and threw her over the top rope onto the diamond plating. Alexa, who was leaning against the cage holding her ribs pointed and laughed at AZM's misfortune. Jamie and Winter squared off and both noticed chairs near them. They grabbed them and started swinging at each other, the chairs smacking together. Liv grabbed a trash can lid and hit Jamie in the back causing her to drop her chair and Winter hit her in the head with the other chair. Jamie bounced off the ropes and Winter hit her with the Frost Bite. AZM had recovered at this point and hit both Winter and Liv with a springboard dropkick. She taunted the both of them until Alexa ran up behind her with a baseball bat and hit a White Russian Leg Sweep.
Mauro Ranallo: Alexa taking a page out of The Sandman playbook.
Everyone was down as the clock ran out and KAIRI emerged from the shark cage and filled the ring with tables and a scalpel. KAIRI entered the cage and set up a table in the middle of the ring. Winter attempted to attack but KAIRI hit her with Cutlass and laid her on the table. The Pirate Princess climbed the top rope and hit an Insane Elbow through the table.
Mauro Ranallo: INSANE ELBOW!!!
Alexa got her feet and was met with a big boot from Jamie. Hayter picked Bliss up in a powerbomb position and ran toward the ropes before launching Alexa across the diamond plating and into the other ring. KAIRI and AZM got up, AZM pointed at Liv and Winter and then pointed both her thumbs up in the air. Jamie grabbed Liv and picked her up in an Electric Chair position and KAIRI did the same with Winter. AZM climbed the top rope and jumped off with a double clothesline.
Nigel McGuinness: Doomsday Device!!
The three women celebrated and shouted “Oedo Tai.” The clock hit zero and Becky Lynch came out as the final member of The Rebellious Angels. Instead of going through the door Becky started climbing the cage and the crowd cheered in anticipation.
Nigel McGuinness: What's she doing?
Becky reached the top of the cage and when the Oedo Tai members turned around she jumped off with a crossbody onto them.
Mauro Ranallo: MAMMA MIA!
After a moment Becky got to her feet and hit a Bexploder on AZM onto a chair. KAIRI got up and Becky kicked her in the gut before hitting a fisherman's neckbreaker. Finally, Jamie got to her feet and went for a big boot but Becky ducked underneath it and Liv hit Jamie with a step-up enzuigiri. A stunned Jamie walked into a Manhandle Slam from Becky and the crowd went crazy. All four members of The Rebellious Angels team were on their feet as the clock struck zero and Tam Nakano made her way down as the final participant of the match.
Mauro Ranallo: The former EBWF Women's Champion is finally entering the match.
Tam walked slowly down the ring as the four members of the opposing team stared daggers at her. Tam made it to ringside with a look of nervousness but at that moment the rest of Oedo Tai recovered and attacked The Rebellious Angels from behind. Tam took advantage and went under the ring, pulling out a taser and a stop sign which she slid into the ring. Tam looked under again and she had a look of intrigue before an evil smile appeared. Nakano reached under the ring and pulled out a razor wire board.
Nigel McGuinness: Oh dear god.
Mauro Ranallo: The danger levels just went up.
Tam slid the board into the ring and entered the cage. A referee entered the cage and the match officially began. As the two teams lined up and stared at each other, the crowd cheered in anticipation. Finally they all charged at each other and traded punches. Eventually they split off with Becky and Winter facing Tam and Jamie in one ring, while AZM and KAIRI faced off with Liv N Bliss in the other ring. Becky grabbed Tam and went for a Manhandle Slam on the trash can, but Tam countered and hit a Violet Screwdriver on the can. Winter hit Jamie multiple times with a trash can lid. Tam snuck up behind Jamie and when she turned around Tam went to spray her with blue mist… but Winter shielded her face with the trash can lid, then spat blood in Tam's face and hit the Frost Bite.
Mauro Ranallo: Tam got a taste of her own medicine.
On the other side Alexa hit AZM with a DDT and went for the pin.

Before the ref could count three, KAIRI landed on Alexa with an Insane Elbow and rolled her over for the cover.

Liv hit KAIRI in the back with the stop sign, breaking up the count! AZM tried to sneak up behind Liv but was shocked in the back with the taser by Winter. As AZM convulsed, Jamie entered the ring and hit Winter with Hayterade. After Jamie hit Liv with a big boot, Alexa ran up and jumped on Hayter's back and tried to dig her nails into Jamie’s eyes but was quickly thrown down hard on the mat causing her to clutch her ribs. Jamie hit a vicious stomp to Alexa’s midsection and pulled her up for a suplex but Liv got up and hit Jamie in the stomach with the stop sign. Jamie set Alexa down but Alexa grabbed her neck and Liv N Bliss hit a Dropkick/DDT combo.
Mauro Ranallo: Everyone is down.
Tam got to her feet after managing to clear her eyes and slid the razor wire board into the middle of the other ring, her eyes locked on Alexa. Tam grabbed Alexa by the hair and dragged her over to the board. Tam shouted at Alexa “Remember what you did to me?” before she set Alexa on the top rope. Tam climbed up and set Alexa up for a superplex but Alexa fought back and bit Tam’s forehead. Alexa slid down from the turnbuckle and grabbed Tam before hitting a running powerbomb into the razor wire board.
Nigel McGuinness: OH MY GOD!!
The crowd chanted “holy shit” as Tam shook with pain, her back sliced. In the first ring, AZM set up a table and when Alexa entered she went to punch her but Alexa kicked her in the gut and hit a DDT. Alexa dragged AZM to her feet and placed her on the table, then grabbed a trash can and placed it over AZM's head. Alexa climbed to the top rope to cheers. KAIRI went to stop her but Becky took her down and locked on the Dis-Arm-Her and yelled at Alexa to “do it.” Alexa jumped off with Twisted Bliss, putting AZM through the table. She hooked the leg and the referee counted…

Becky helped Alexa up and Liv and Winter joined them. The four hugged in triumph and friendship before raising their hands.
Mauro Ranallo: The war is seemingly over, and at the end of the day The Rebellious Angels stand tall!
Alexa, Liv, Becky and Winter continued celebrating as Warfare went off the air.
