After a video package recapping the build up to Wrestlemania and previewing the matches on the card, there was a huge firework display and the camera panned around the sold-out Raymond James Stadium before cutting to Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness at ringside.

Mauro Ranallo: Good evening and welcome to the biggest night of the year, Wrestlemania XX! I'm Mauro Ranallo, and I am joined by Nigel McGuinness.

Nigel McGuinness: What a night we have in store here in Florida! Kicking things off, we've got a triple threat match... it's going to be Bobby Lashley versus Christian Cage versus Roman Reigns!

Lashley made his way to the ring first, followed by Christian Cage and finally Roman Reigns. When all three men were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Lashley immediately charged towards Reigns, hitting him with a series of punches. Cage stayed in the corner, letting the big men fight it out. Reigns fought back, hitting Lashley with some right hands of his own, then lifted him up for a Samoan drop... but Lashley broke free and hit Reigns with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex! As Lashley got to his feet, Christian Cage hit him with a dropkick, then followed up with an inverted DDT. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Lashley kicked out! Cage then turned his attention to Roman Reigns, who was back on his feet. Cage charged towards Reigns, going for a clothesline... but Reigns ducked out of the way and hit a back body drop! Reigns then charged towards Christian, going for the Spear... but Cage moved out of the way at the last second, and Reigns went shoulder first into the ring post! As Reigns fell to the mat clutching his shoulder, Lashley grabbed Cage from behind, hitting him with a full nelson slam. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Cage kicked out! Lashley got to his feet and stomped on him several times, then pulled him to his feet and threw him out of the ring. Lashley then turned to Reigns, who was still clutching his shoulder.

Mauro Ranallo: Roman Reigns looks like he's in a lot of pain here... he might have separated his shoulder colliding with the ring post!

Despite hurting his shoulder, Reigns challenged Lashley to fight him. Lashley nodded, then charged towards Reigns and hit him with a series of punches. Lashley pulled Reigns away from the corner and whipped him against the ropes, before hitting a powerslam! Lashley was about to hook the leg, but before he could, Christian pulled him out of the ring! Cage threw Lashley into the ringside barrier, then slid into the ring. As Reigns got to his feet, Cage grabbed him from behind, setting him up for the Unprettier... but Reigns broke free and shoved Cage against the ropes, before hitting him with the Spear! Lashley then entered the ring and hit Reigns with a Spear!

Nigel McGuinness: Another Spear! Lashley is the last man standing...

Both Reigns and Cage were down, and Lashley held up his arms triumphantly, then covered Christian Cage. The referee counted – 1... 2... Cage kicked out just before the 3! Lashley then covered Reigns and the referee counted – 1... 2... Reigns kicked out! Lashley looked frustrated, and he turned his attention back to Cage, dragging him to his feet and setting him up for a powerbomb. He lifted Cage up... but Cage countered with a hurricanrana! Both men got to their feet and Cage hit Lashley with a clothesline, sending him over the top rope. Cage then grabbed Roman Reigns and hit him with the Unprettier! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Mauro Ranallo: It's over! Christian Cage gets a victory!

Nigel McGuinness: Kane and Maven are in action later on tonight, as is Alexa Bliss... could Wrestlemania be a clean sweep for The Coalition?

Cage celebrated, then made his way to the back.

The big Wrestlemania entrances were sure to take center stage as Leva Bates was introduced first. Bayley came out second with Taya Valkyrie third.
Mauro Ranallo: There will be a fourth in this Fatal Fourway and these ladies are anxious to find out who their opponent will be.
“Aphrodite” hit and the crowd went wild and got to their feet as Torrie Wilson came from behind the curtain on the Grandest stage of them all. The ladies in the ring tried to remain unimpressed as the living legend headed into the ring.
Nigel McGuinness: These ladies know this is there time to shine!
The bell rang. Torrie and Bayley rolled outside early, leaving Bates and Valkyrie to face off. Torrie and Bayley then went after Leva and Taya. Bates took care of Torrie and Bayley with a clothesline/bulldog combo. Valkyrie went after Bates, but Torrie and Bayley go after her. They zeroed in on Leva, but Bates got out and hits them with a double German suplex!

Mauro Ranallo: How did she do that!

Leva had no time to rest. Valkyrie and Bates unloaded on one another until Valkyrie hit a head butt to the neck! Bates then delivered a German Suplex to Valkyrie that was good for 2. Torrie and Bayley were sent back outside by Bates with a flying hip attack, but Valkyrie avoided a head kick and hit Bates with a straitjacket neckbreaker. Taya followed up with a diving reverse DDT for 2.

Nigel McGuinness: Near fall for the newcomer!

Valkyrie was sent outside, but she tripped up Bates on the apron, then hit a draping DDT from the apron to the floor! Valkyrie headed up top and wiped out Torrie and Bayley with a crossbody! Torrie and Bayley began double-teaming Taya outside, sending her into the barricade. They brawled by the announcer table as Valkyrie regained control and went on top of the announcer table.

Mauro Ranallo: Wait! Torrie Wilson grabbed the ankle!

Torrie tripped Taya up, and knocks Valkyrie off the table. Torrie suplexed Valkyrie off the announce table and onto the floor. Torrie returned to the ring where Bayley was working over Leva. Torrie jumped in for the double-team. Bayley began to get frustrated. Bates fought back on Torrie. Bayley took the opportunity to lay in a big kick to Bates, followed by a Widow’s Peak variation that was good for 2. Torrie and Bayley went for more double-teaming, but Bates regained control, sent Torrie outside and drills Bayley with a Superhero Kick! Leva hurriedly went for the pin.

Mauro Ranallo: It’s over! Leva Bates has won it!

Nigel McGuinness: Taya Valkyrie was suplexed out here on the outside and wasn’t even part of the decision. She’s staring Leva down.

Leva noticed Taya’s gaze and gave her a little smirk as a hype video for the next match began to play.

“Cult of Personality” hit and the crowd went wild for the Second City Saint who got down on one knee, turned his wrist to check his watch, and yelled ‘It’s Clobberin’ Time” to the delight of the fans. Fireworks shot off in typical Wrestlemania entrance fashion once he was halfway down the ramp. Christy Hemme introduced him, and he entered the ring under the bottom rope, and turned back to the entrance, bouncing on his heels a little as he awaited his opponent.

Mauro Ranallo: CM Punk returns to Wrestlemania and the crowd is here for it, Nigel!

Nigel McGuinness: This one should be a barn burner, Mauro.

“Moments” by Sevendust hit, and the lights near the stage dramatically dimmed as a horse drawn chariot came in from state left. Aiden English sat in the chariot as it carried him to the ring. His lovely wife Raquel Diaz at his side, Elias Samson and Chavo Guerrero in the back of the chariot.

Mauro Ranallo: The Kingdom arriving in style.

Nigel McGuinness: Raquel will be in action later tonight where she has an opportunity to become the EBWF Women’s Champion.

Mauro Ranallo: This could end up being a very good night for The Kingdom.

As the chariot came to a stop near the ring, Aiden and Raquel shared a brief good luck kiss before The King stepped out to ringside. Christy Hemme introduced the former world champion and Aiden entered between the ropes. Punk was staring him down.

Mauro Ranallo: No love lost between these two! Here we go!

The bell rang, and they circled the ring. They locked up, and Punk backed English to the corner. Punk gave a clean break and challenged him to come at him. They circled the ring, and English kicked him. English kicked him down in the corner before Punk turned him and hit some shoulder blocks. Punk hit a low dropkick to the back of the head before wrenching the arm and elbowing him. Punk punched him in the corner, but English turned him and kicked him down. English sent him to the corner, but Punk avoided an avalanche. Punk hit a high knee followed by a short-arm clothesline. He got up quickly, went to the top rope, but English had him scouted and rolled out of the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Punk had him outsmarted there.

Aiden charged back in the ring and hit a step-up enzuigiri. He took Punk down with an arm bar, but Punk whipped him off. Punk ran into a knee, and English kicked him in the face for a near fall. English stretched his arm against the rope before punching away at it. English reapplied an arm bar, but Punk got to his feet. Punk went for the GTS, but English slid off and hit a double knee arm breaker for a near fall. English smiled at the erupting crowd as Punk struggled to get to his feet. English kicked him in the face for a near fall.

Nigel McGuinness: Brutality from English!

English went back to the arm bar again, and Punk once more got to his feet. Punk punched English before hitting a body slam. Punk clutched at his arm.

Mauro Ranallo: Aiden English has been torturing Punk with that arm bar, and now Punk is feeling the pain!

Punk tried to shake it off and went to the top rope, but English kicked him in the head for a near fall. Aiden was jawing at him, and continued to kick him in the head. Punk countered out of a Valkyrie Arm Breaker attempt, and he punched and kicked away at English. Punk hit a clothesline before running into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. English then hit a baseball slide that sent him out of the ring. English followed him outside, and Punk tried to surprise him with a GTS. English slid off and sends him shoulder first into the barricade.

Mauro Ranallo: Punk’s arm has taken a beating!

English helped Punk back into the ring, and stood up whipping him into the turnbuckle. Punk caught himself and stumbled backward, lightly bouncing off the ropes and swayed right into…

Mauro Ranallo: The Director’s Cut!

Nigel McGuinness: This could be over!

The bell rang.

Christy Hemme: Here’s your winner, Aiden English!

Aiden looked down at Punk, and lifted his right foot to rest on Punk’s chest as the referee raised his arm in victory and an ad for the Wrestlemania Sponsor began to play.

MATCH FOUR

Mauro Ranallo: What a night we've had so far! Our main event tonight will see the EBWF Tag Team Champions, Randy Orton and Edge, go one on one for the EBWF World Championship. Up next though, we're going to crown new number one contenders for Rated RKO's Tag Team Titles. The Guerrillas of Destiny, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, requested a shot at the Tag Team Titles, and they have that opportunity if they can defeat Kane and Maven and Cameron Grimes and Tommaso Ciampa in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match!

Grimes and Ciampa made their way to the ring first, followed by Kane and Maven and finally G.O.D. Hanging above the ring was a briefcase, and all three teams looked up at the briefcase as they entered the ring. When all six men were in the ring, the bell rang and Grimes immediately charged towards Kane... but Kane grabbed him by the throat and lifted him up, hitting a Choke Slam! Kane and Maven then went after Ciampa as Tonga and Loa stayed in the corner, waiting for their moment to attack. Kane and Maven beat down Ciampa, then threw him out of the ring and turned their attention to Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. The four men met in the center of the ring and exchanged blows, with Loa going up against Kane while Tonga battled Maven. Tama Tonga was able to overpower Maven and he hit the former Tough Enough competitor with the Tongan Twist, then worked with Tanga Loa to double-team Kane. The two brothers lifted Kane up, hitting him with the Magic Killer! Tanga Loa then told Tama Tonga to get a ladder, and Tonga exited the ring, grabbing a ladder from ringside. Tonga slid the ladder into the ring and went to re-enter the ring, but before he could do so, Tommaso Ciampa hit him across the back with a steel chair! Tonga fell to the ground and Ciampa entered the ring, where Tanga Loa had set the ladder up and was climbing to reach the briefcase. Ciampa still had the steel chair in his hands, and he threw the chair at Loa, hitting him across the neck and back with it! Loa looked dazed, and Ciampa grabbed him, powerbombing him off the ladder. Ciampa then went to climb the ladder, but Maven attacked him before he could do so. Ciampa was able to overpower Maven, and he set him up for a piledriver... but before he could hit it, Kane hit Ciampa with a big boot!

Nigel McGuinness: Great teamwork there by Kane and Maven!

Kane and Maven began climbing the ladder, but before they could reach the top Cameron Grimes and Tama Tonga grabbed the ladder, pushing it over. Kane and Maven landed on the ropes, then fell out of the ring. Tonga and Grimes fought over the ladder, with each man trying to grab it but neither man letting go. Tonga was eventually able to take the ladder away from Grimes, and he put the ladder down then grabbed Cameron Grimes, hitting him with a double underhook DDT. Tonga then began to climb the ladder, but as he reached the top of the ladder, Tommaso Ciampa climbed up the opposite side of the ladder and fought with Tonga at the top of the ladder. Just when it looked as though Ciampa had the upper hand, Tama Tonga grabbed him and smashed his head off the top of the ladder. Tonga then grabbed Ciampa and hit him with a cutter off the ladder!

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia! Both men are down!

Both Ciampa and Tonga were laid out on the ring mat, while Kane and Maven were on the outside. Cameron Grimes and Tanga Loa got to their feet, and looked up at the briefcase, then across the ring at one another. Grimes and Loa exchanged punches, and Cameron Grimes was able to gain the upper hand. He set Tanga Loa up for a German suplex, but Tanga Loa broke free and hit Grimes with a spinebuster. At this point, Kane re-entered the ring and locked eyes with Tanga Loa. While Loa was distracted by Kane, Maven entered on the opposite side of the ring and climbed to the top rope, then hit Loa with a dropkick! Maven then rolled out of the ring and grabbed a table, which he brought into the ring and set up while Kane grabbed Tanga Loa. Once the table was set up, Kane lifted Loa up, Choke Slamming him through the table! Kane then told Maven to climb the ladder while he stood next to the ladder, guarding it.

Nigel McGuinness: Kane learning from what happened earlier in the match... if anyone wants to stop Maven from reaching the briefcase, they have to deal with the Big Red Machine first!

As Maven neared the top of the ladder, Tama Tonga and Tommaso Ciampa got to their feet. They ran towards Kane, and Kane grabbed both men by the throat, going for a double Choke Slam... but Ciampa and Tonga worked together to block it, then hit Kane with a double suplex! Meanwhile, Maven was at the top of the ladder and reaching for the briefcase, but Cameron Grimes climbed up the ladder behind Maven and grabbed him, hitting a German suplex! As Ciampa and Tonga got to their feet, their temporary alliance was disbanded and Tonga hit Ciampa with a kick to the midsection, then lifted him up, hitting the Gun Stun. Tonga then picked up the steel chair that Ciampa had brought into the ring earlier, and waited for Cameron Grimes to get to his feet. When Grimes was on his feet, Tonga drilled the chair into his ribs, then hit him across the back with it. Tonga then turned around to see Kane back on his feet. Tonga swung the chair at Kane... but Kane blocked it, and snatched the chair away from Tonga! Kane lifted the chair up and was about to his Tonga with it, but Tanga Loa hit Kane with a low blow!

Mauro Ranallo: I can't believe Tanga Loa did that! He cheated!

Nigel McGuinness: It's a TLC match, Mauro... anything goes!

Kane dropped the chair and Tonga and Loa dragged him to the corner, then hit the Super Powerbomb! With all of their opponents downed, Tonga and Loa climbed the ladder and retrieved the briefcase.

Nigel McGuinness: It's over! Guerrillas of Destiny are the number one contenders for the Tag Team Titles!

Mauro Ranallo: What a match that was, Nigel!

Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa celebrated as a video package played recapping the Breakout/Gateway Championship Tournament.

Mauro Ranallo: Raven will be disappointed to have lost tonight, but the Breakout Title is some consolation!

As Raven placed the Breakout Title on his shoulder, Miz turned to him and held up the Gateway Title, taunting Raven. Miz then exited the ring and made his way up the ramp, continuing to taunt Raven as he headed to the back.

Mauro Ranallo: And here comes Alexa Bliss, who is taking on Ronda Rousey in a hardcore match! There is no love lost between these two superstars...

A video package recapping the rivalry between Bliss and Rousey played as Alexa Bliss entered the ring. After the video had finished, "Bad Reputation" hit and the crowd booed as Ronda Rousey stepped out onto the stage. As Rousey walked down the ramp, Bliss rolled out of the ring and charged towards Rousey, taking her down with a clothesline! The referee called for the bell, officially starting the match. As Bliss re-entered the ring, she went to grab the trash can, but before she could grab it Rousey charged towards her, hitting Bliss with a series of punches. Rousey then lifted Bliss up, hitting a gut wrench powerbomb onto the trash can!

Mauro Ranallo: That can't have been good for Alexa's injured ribs!

Mauro Ranallo: Up next is a clash of two of the EBWF’s most notorious superstars. The living legends will have the opportunity to steal Wrestlemania with this match.

I…am…Phenomenal…

The words flashed across the Tron as “Phenomenal” hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction to the arrival of AJ Styles.

Nigel McGuinness: He’s a polarizing character here in EBWF, but you can’t deny that he’s one of the most talented wrestlers on the planet.

AJ walked down to the ring, and climbed up on the turnbuckle taunting out to the crowd. “Judas” hit next, and the crowd cheered the arrival of Chris Jericho.

Mauro Ranallo: And the EBWF Original performing here tonight at Wrestlemania XX.

Nigel McGuinness: What a career milestone for Chris Jericho.

The crowd sang along to Jericho’s theme as he stared AJ down, and rolled in under the bottom rope. The crowd was hot for the match, and the bell rang. They circled the ring. The crowd immediately started dueling chants as they locked up. Jericho backed him to the corner. Styles turned him around and they tussled for position until the referee broke them up. They gave a clean break, and Jericho smiled cockily. They locked up, and Jericho applied a side headlock. AJ twisted out, but Jericho grabbed the arm and wrenched it. Styles twisted out, kipped up, and gave him an arm drag before posing for the crowd. They circled the ring and locked up again. Jericho kneed him in the midsection and chopped the chest. Jericho sent him into the ropes and gave him a back elbow. Styles punched back, but Jericho reversed a whip into a back elbow. Jericho hit the ropes, but Styles followed him and connected with a leaping clothesline. Styles elbowed him in the back of the head and applied a front facelock, but Jericho backed him to the corner and shouldered him before chopping the chest. Jericho whipped him to the opposite corner and hit a corner clothesline. Jericho send him to the opposite corner again, but Styles twisted through the ropes. Jericho then took him out with a springboard dropkick, which knocked Styles to the floor. Jericho rubbed his hands together with a smirk as if that had been too easy.

Mauro Ranallo: Jericho is adding insult to injury here.

Styles got back in the ring after taking a moment to recover. Jericho caught him with a suplex for a one count. Styles punched him in the midsection and chopped the chest. Styles sent him to the corner, but he ran into a boot. Jericho went to the second rope and hit a missile dropkick. Jericho got him to his feet, and Styles chopped away at the chest. MATCH EIGHT
Image

Christy Hemme: The following contest is a Triple Threat Match, scheduled for one fall, and is for the EBWF Women’s Championship.

"Toreador II" by Apocalyptica hit the PA System and Raquel Diaz walked through the entrance curtain as the crowd booed. With a purpose, she began making a beeline toward the ring.

Christy Hemme: Introducing first… From El Paso, Texas… RAQUEL DIAZ!

Mauro Ranallo: Here comes the winner of the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble, and judging by the comments she made, she wasn’t too thrilled about this match becoming a triple threat match.

Nigel McGuinness: She may not like it, but Becky earned her spot in this match by beating Tam Nakano. Given Raquel’s penchant for violence, she can look at it like this. It just means one more body for to rack up.

Raquel made it to the ringside area and climbed up onto the apron before she entered the ring and her theme cut out.

The lights in the arena dimmed and the attention was paid toward the entrance while a video played. The PA System began to play “Funeral of Queen Mary” by Henry Purcell. The video showed a close-up of Becky Lynch. The camera slowly zoomed out, to reveal that Becky was wearing an all white attire with black boots, and a black bowler hat with her feet propped up on the table. The camera zoomed out further to show that Winter was wearing the same white attire and black boots.

As the camera zoomed out, everyone heard the voice of Becky Lynch. “I’m sharpened up and ready for a bit of the ol’ ultraviolence.” The video stopped and the arena was drenched in darkness save for a lone spotlight where Becky and Winter stood, still dressed in their attires from the video that just played.

The spotlight turned off and after a few moments, “Celtic Invasion” by CFO$ began blaring throughout the arena, not that anyone could hear it due to the cheers from the crowd that drowned out the music, and the lighting was brought back into the arena in shades of green and orange. With the light brought back into the arena, there was revealed to be an army of droogs on either side of the entrance ramp. Becky and Winter made their way down the entrance ramp.

Christy Hemme: Accompanied by Winter… From Dublin, Ireland… She is the Cerebral Lassassin… BECKY LYNCH!

Mauro Ranallo: Every since she beat then-champion Shayna Baszler heading into last year’s WrestleMania, Becky Lynch has been hell-bent on a mission to become the Women’s Champion. She had to jump through every hoop conceivable in order to get a title shot. She had the chance to win it at SummerSlam, but thanks to Natalya, that didn’t happen. She had to continue jumping through hoops until she beat Tam Nakano and was added to this match.

Nigel McGuinness: If you don’t believe the hoops that she jumped through, she’ll tell you herself. You don’t even have to take her word for it. You just look at her history from the past year.

Becky made it to ringside with Winter and started taking off her leather jacket while glaring a hole through Raquel. With no hesitation, Becky ran into the ring. Once she got up to her feet, she charged toward Raquel and took her down with a Spear and started wailing on her with hard-hitting punches while Raquel covered up as “Celtic Invasion” cut out abruptly.

Mauro Ranallo: There they go! You had to know that Becky wasn’t going to take those comments made by Raquel in stride!

Nigel McGuinness: They already started the fight but Tam Nakano hasn’t been introduced yet.

Becky continued wailing on Raquel like a woman possessed before Raquel could find it within herself to turn the tables. With Raquel in control for the moment, she started throwing punches of her own at Becky while Becky covered up.

Mauro Ranallo: Now, Raquel is on the offensive.

Nigel McGuinness: She’d better stay on Becky, because the Cerebral Lassassin will use any opening to her advantage.

Right as Nigel said that, Becky managed to get her feet up into Raquel’s armpits and pushed her off. Both women got to their feet and ran at each other. They started throwing punches at one another again. Becky managed to get the upper hand and grabbed the back of Raquel’s head before she drove Raquel face first into the turnbuckle in the southwest corner of the ring. After Raquel was driven face first into the turnbuckle, she turned to face Becky. When Raquel faced her, Becky started throwing punches in Raquel’s face again before she hit Raquel in the stomach with a hard knee strike.

Mauro Ranallo: This isn’t part of the match right now. This is simply a confrontation.

Nigel McGuinness: There’s been some bad blood brewing between these two since Becky was rightfully added to this match.

Raquel turned the tables on Becky and now it was Becky in the corner. With Becky in the corner, Raquel started throwing punches at the Cerebral Lassassin. Raquel stopped momentarily before she bit Becky’s forehead. Becky began backing Raquel out of the corner and to the center of the ring. Raquel stopped biting Becky’s forehead and ran to the ropes. After she bounced off the ropes, Raquel ran right into a devastating clothesline from Becky that caused Raquel to fold up like an accordion.

Mauro Ranallo: MAMA MIA! What a clothesline from Becky Lynch!

Nigel McGuinness: They’d better send Tam Nakano out here or else there won’t be a match.

Tam Nakano ran down to the ring with the Women’s Championship belt in her hand and slid into the ring as Raquel got back up to her feet. Right when Nakano got up to her feet, Nakano was knocked to the mat by a punch from Becky. Becky followed it up by knocking Raquel down with a Dropkick. This forced Raquel to back into the Northeast corner. With Raquel backed into the corner, Becky started throwing punches at her abdomen and rib cage. She punched Raquel - one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten times - before she punched Raquel extra hard in the face, forcing Raquel to fall to the ground while the crowd cheered.

Mauro Ranallo: Now, this match is under way and Becky is in firm control.

Nigel McGuinness: She wants that title and tonight could be the night.

Nakano approached Becky and the Cerebral Lassassin grabbed her by the back of the head. With Nakano’s throat in her clutches, Winter threw her toward the corner. However, the force was great enough to send Nakano over the top rope and to the floor. After Nakano hits the floor, Becky turned to face Raquel, who had gotten to her feet. Raquel dropkicked Becky causing Becky to back into the Northeast corner. With Winter in the corner, Raquel climbed up to the second rope and started punching her in the face. Raquel punched Becky in the face - one, two, three, four, five times - before Becky pushed her off and Raquel came crashing down on the mat. Once Raquel hit the mat, she immediately got back up and ran toward the corner, and she jumped up onto the second roped to punch Becky again. She punched Winter - one, two, three, four, five times - before Becky pushed her off again. Raquel got up and ran at Becky again. This time, Becky got her foot up and Raquel ran right into it, and was knocked to the mat by a Big Boot from the Cerebral Lassassin while the crowd cheered.

Mauro Ranallo: We saw Raquel attempt to gain control of this match, but the resourcefulness of Becky prevailed.

Nigel McGuinness: What did I say? Raquel needs to stay on her.

Becky walked over to Raquel as the Ultra Diva stood up to see the Cerebral Lassassin shaking her head “No” before she took Raquel down with a clothesline as the crowd cheered. Raquel quickly got up and Becky backed her into the Northwest corner and began stomping on her. Becky stomped on Raquel’s stomach – once, twice, three times, four times, five times – Raquel dropped to a seated position in the corner before Becky continued stomping away – six times, seven times, eight times, nine times, ten times – before the referee got between them. Becky quickly went right after the referee, who dove out of the ring while the crowd cheered.

Mauro Ranallo: Becky’s really a house of fire right now.

Nigel McGuinness: What Raquel said about her is still fresh in her mind.

Nakano slid back into the ring with a chair and snuck up behind Becky. Right when Becky turned around, Nakano cracks her in the face with the chair, knocking Becky to the mat. The referee slid back into the ring and pulled the chair out of Nakano’s hands, and he threw the chair out of the ring. With Becky down, Nakano went for the pin.

ONE!
TWO!
THR-NO! Becky kicked out and Nakano couldn’t believe it. Nakano stepped on Becky’s throat and used the rope to aid her. The referee yelled at her to let up and Nakano refused before the referee started to count.

ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR! Nakano let up and Becky rolled over to her side. Nakano stomped on the back of Becky’s head, causing Becky to roll over to the Southwest corner. Becky rolled over to her side again, and Nakano stomped on the back of her head, causing Becky to roll over to the west side of the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Thanks to that chair shot, Tam Nakano has control over this match.

Nigel McGuinness: Yeah, but she needs to stay on Becky.

Nakano stomped on Becky’s head again and followed it up with stomping on Becky’s chest, causing Becky to roll over to the Northwest corner. With Becky lying in the Northwest corner, Nakano continued stomping on Becky’s chest, stomping on her chest – once, twice, three times, four times, five times – and followed it up with punching Becky’s head – once, twice, three times, four times – before the referee physically pulled Nakano off of the Cerebral Lassassin.

Mauro Ranallo: Tam Nakano is showing tremendous viciousness tonight.

Nigel McGuinness: Well, Becky and Raquel wouldn’t hold back. So, why should she?

Before Nakano could approach Becky, she was taken down to the mat with a chop block from Raquel. Nakano got up to a knee and Raquel knocked her back down with a Dropkick. Raquel turned her attention to Becky in the Northwest corner and walked up to her. She grabbed Becky by the head. She lifted Becky up to a kneeling position in the corner, and started throwing punches to Becky’s face. She punched Becky in the face – once, twice, three times, four times, five times – before getting into the referee’s face. Meanwhile, Becky used the ropes to climb to her feet in the corner. Raquel turned her attention to Becky and ran at her, only to be caught with a big boot from Becky, knocking Raquel for a loop while the crowd cheered.

Mauro Ranallo: Raquel ran face first into Becky’s boot once again.

Nigel McGuinness: What did I say about giving Becky time to recover?

Raquel ran at Becky again. This time, Becky ducked and lifted Raquel over the top rope with a big Back Body Drop. Raquel landed face first on the ringpost. However, Raquel’s arm took some of the damage away from her face and she was able to drop to her feet on the apron. Becky walked along the ropes and Raquel grabbed her by the head from behind, and dropped off of the apron, knocking Becky to the mat with a Reverse Guillotine Drop as the crowd booed.

Mauro Ranallo: Just when you thought that Becky was going to regain control of this match, Raquel put a stop to it.

Nigel McGuinness: This is smart on Raquel’s part. She’s learning that Becky is the kind of person that can use a split second to create an opening. She knows that Becky is very opportunistic, and she did a great job in closing the door on that opportunity. That’s the thing. You can’t give Becky an opening, and Raquel has found this out.

Nakano managed to turn over and she draped her arm over Becky’s shoulders.

ONE!
TWO!
THR-NO! Becky got the shoulder up and Raquel slid into the ring. Nakano got up to her feet and Raquel took her down with a Gory Bomb. Becky got up to her feet and Raquel took her down with a Gory Bomb before going for the pin on Becky.

ONE!
TWO!
THREE-NO! Becky got her shoulder up at the last possible second as the crowd cheered. Raquel quickly placed Becky into the Lasso From El Paso as the crowd booed.

Mauro Ranallo: THE LASSO FROM EL PASO! SHADES OF HER FATHER!

Nigel McGuinness: This might just clinch it for Raquel Diaz.

With Becky in the Lasso From El Paso, Raquel grabbed Becky’s right hand and was about to slap Becky’s hand against the mat three times, but Becky managed to use that arm to repeatedly elbow Raquel in the ribcage, forcing Raquel to let up. With Becky and Raquel down, Nakano somehow managed to turn over and draped her arm over Becky’s shoulders.

ONE!
TWO!
THREE-NO! Becky got the shoulder up. Nakano crawled over to Raquel and draped her arm over Raquel’s shoulders.

ONE!
TWO!
THRE-NO! Raquel got the shoulder up. Nakano got up to her feet and ran to the ropes. Raquel got up and dropkicked Nakano in the legs, forcing her down to a kneeling position. Becky ran at Nakano and hit Nakano with the Straight Fireball, forcing Nakano up to her feet. Nakano stumbled right into Raquel with the latter picking up the former and dropping her with the Gory Bomb. Raquel covered Nakano’s right shoulder and hooked her right leg. At the same time, Becky covered Nakano’s left shoulder and hooked her left leg.

ONE!
TWO!
THREE!!!

The closing bell sounded after Becky and Raquel simultaneously pin Nakano. Becky got up to her feet and raised her arms while Raquel got up to her feet and also raised her arms.

Mauro Ranallo: Becky and Raquel simultaneously pinned Tam Nakano.

Nigel McGuinness: Yeah, but who’s the winner? Who’s the new champion?

Christy Hemme: The winner of this match and NEW EBWF Women’s Champion…

A second referee came out and showed the referee an instant replay of the closing moments of the match. It showed that Raquel went for the pin on Tam Nakano a split second before Becky Lynch did. Becky and Raquel looked on with their hands on their respective hips while they waited for the decision.

Mauro Ranallo: There’s some confusion in this ending here. The referee’s are conferring with one another.

Nigel McGuinness: No matter who is declared the winner, there will be controversy.

The match referee left the ring and walked up to Christy. The two had a small conversation over who the winner was. After the conversation concluded, Christy made the announcement.

Christy Hemme: Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has informed me that Raquel Diaz went for cover a split moment before Becky Lynch. Therefore, the winner of this and NEW EBWF Women’s Champion… RAQUEL DIAZ!!!!

"Toreador II" by Apocalyptica hit the PA System once again and the crowd booed furiously as the referee entered the ring with the Women’s Championship belt.

Before Raquel could be handed the championship belt, Becky hauled off and punched her in the jaw, knocking Raquel to the mat instantly as the crowd cheered. Raquel grabbed the ropes and started using them to pull herself up. With Raquel in such a precarious position, Becky ran at her and knocked her down with the Straight Fireball (V-Trigger) while the crowd continued cheering.

Winter pulled two chairs out from under the ring and slid them toward Becky. Becky grabbed one and placed it in the center of the ring. She grabbed Raquel by the arm and pulled her toward the chair. She lifted Raquel’s head by her hair and slid the chair under her head before she slammed Raquel face first into the seat of the chair.

Becky approached the second chair and picked it up…

Mauro Ranallo: Don’t tell me she’s going to do what I think she’s going to do.

Nigel McGuinness: Oh, she is. I told you that no matter who was declared the winner that this would end in controversy.

Becky raised the chair in both hands, and the chair came crashing down on Raquel’s head as hard as Becky could hit her with it while the crowd cheered, wanting blood.

Mauro Ranallo: MAMA MIA! WHAT A CON-CHAIR-TO!

Nigel McGuinness: It was like a gunshot went off!

Becky looked toward the referee and snatched the Women’s Championship belt out of his hands before she left the ring with it all the while, the crowd cheered her and broke out into chanting her name overwhelmingly.

Mauro Ranallo: Becky’s leaving with the title!

Nigel McGuinness: Well, she thinks she’s the rightful champion, and it’s hard to disagree!
MATCH NINE
Image

Mauro Ranallo: And here we go! A hugely anticipated contest between two tag team partners of the most prolific tag team in modern EBWF history!

Nigel McGuiness: I know that Randy Orton and Edge have demonstrated cohesiveness to the camera in the final hours before Wrestlemania, but mark my words. It's all coming to a head tonight!

"You think you know me..."

The crowd gets to their feet and cheers almost universally for the Rated R Superstar as he makes his way down the ramp to a spectacular pyrotechnics display with glorious smoke and strobe lighting effects. Edge was rocking a custom made duster for the occasion. Edge hyped up the crowd and thew up the devil horns as more pyro exploded behind him.

Mauro Ranallo: You can feel the energy coming off the veteran Edge!

Nigel McGuiness: I’m telling ya, Mauro. You look at a guy like Edge and everyone thinks he’s an underdog. This man is a multi-time World Champ, Royal Rumble Winner, King of the Ring winner, he has done. it. all. The fact that anyone would think of him as an underdog is ridiculous. Put his list of accomplishments up against anyone else in EBWF history, and there are very few that can match it, if any.

Edge got into the ring, mounting the turnbuckle and taunting the crowd again. He got into his corner as his music faded.

“Go back to sleep!”

The heavy, plodding industrial sound of “Counting Bodies Like Sheep” blasted out of the speakers as the World Champion slowly walked out from behind the curtain. The crowd gave him an overwhelmingly mixed reaction as he made his way down to the ring, no pyro, no special effects. The EBWF World Championship was draped over his shoulder as he stopped briefly to look out at the crowd before continuing his journey.

Mauro Ranallo: This has such a big fight feel tonight, doesn’t it, Nigel?

Nigel McGuiness: It certainly does, Mauro. This is the kind of match that comes around once every 10 years. The stars had to align for this to happen and the winner is the EBWF fans.

Randy stepped through the ropes and glanced at Edge with a smirk. He mounted the turnbuckle and looked out at the crowd, staring a long while. Finally after teasing it long enough, he threw his arms out in his signature pose.

Mauro Ranallo: Randy Orton certainly has a tall task in his first defense of his newly won World Championship title.

Nigel McGuiness: This man still holds the record for the longest World Championship reign, and he plans on breaking his own record! I believe him!

Randy got into his corner as Christy Hemme took a microphone.

Christy Hemme: Ladies and gentlemen! The following contest is scheduled for one-fall, and it is for the EBWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIIIIIP!

The crowd cheered loudly, ready for the main event.

Christy Hemme: Introducing the challenger! From Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 243 pounds… EEEEDDDDGGGEEEEE!

Edge grinned and threw the horns up one more time as the crowd cheered for him.

Christy Hemme: And his opponent. From St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 235 pounds! He is the EBWF World Champion, RAAANNDYYYYYY… ORRRTOOOOOOOOONNN!

Randy raised the World Championship in the air, a cocky smirk on his features. He handed the title to the referee who then showed it to Edge, then raised it in the air.

Mauro Ranallo: And here we go!

The bell rang for the main event and Randy and Edge circled each other. They lock up and tussled around the ring for position. Orton got leverage, took him down and applied a side headlock. Edge fought back to a vertical base and whipped him off, leapfrogged him, and hit two arm drags back to back. Edge goes for a third, but Orton put the brakes on. Edge applied a side headlock and hit a takeover. Orton shifted his weight and rolled him over for a one count. Orton applied a head-scissor and cinched it in. Edge fought out and went for a headlock, but Orton slithered away.

Edge applied a side headlock, but Orton backed him into the ropes. Orton whipped him off, and they crisscrossed before Orton kicked Edge in the shin and tripped him. Edge slide out of the ring and cursed under his breath as he paced on the outside. Orton remained in the ring with a cocky smirk. Edge got in the ring, and they locked up again. Orton took him down with a drop toe hold, but Edge slid out of the ring. Orton tried to follow, but Edge tricked him getting in and out of the ring. Edge surprised Orton with a big boot at ringside, sending him to his back on the outside mat. Edge picked up the champion and rolled him in the ring. Edge threw Randy off the ropes and caught him with an arm drag and applied an arm bar.

Mauro Ranallo: This match starting off very technical, by two veterans and students of the game!

Nigel McGuiness: It’s only a matter of time before this blows up, Mauro! Mark my words, Rated RKO is on thin ice tonight!

Orton fought up to a vertical base and lifted Edge up, but Edge applied more pressure to the arm, so Orton dropped back down. Orton eventually got back up and stomped Edge’s foot to force a break. He followed up with a whip into the corner turnbuckle. Edge charged forward from the corner and hit a head-scissor takeover that sent Orton tumbling out of the ring. Edge mounted the turnbuckle and taunted the champion as Orton took a break outside the ring. Orton took too much time outside, so Edge leapt off the turnbuckle and hit a flying clothesline to the outside!

Mauro Ranallo: Look at that! Edge is leaving it all on the line in this match!

Edge attacked Orton outside the ring, leading him towards the barricades. He slammed Orton’s head multiple times and threw him back into the ring. Edge talked a little inaudible smack to Orton punched away at him. The challenger followed up with a knee in the midsection. Edge kneed him again and dragged him down with a crossface. Orton fought back up to a vertical base and tried to surprise him with an RKO, but Edge pushed Randy off. Edge went for the head and arm submission, but Orton got to the ropes. Edge picked up the champion and went for a hard right, but Orton dodged and crushed Edge with his headlock backbreaker.

Orton rolled Edge outside and drove Edge into the barricade. Orton continued to shoulder check Edge into the barricades and slammed his head into the ring steps. Orton whipped Edge into the commentary table before hitting a back suplex on it! The table didn’t break and Orton rolled Edge off of it and got Edge in the ring, picking up a near fall. Orton cinched in a chin lock, and Edge struggled wildly. Hearing the crowd cheer him on, Edge fought up and elbowed Randy several times as he go out of the hold. Orton violently whipped Edge into the corner, and Edge collapsed to the mat holding his neck. Orton started circling his tag team partner, stomping his hand, his head, any vulnerable spots.

Nigel McGuiness: This is why Randy Orton is the champion. He knows how to identify your weakness and exploit them with absolute precision.

Mauro Ranallo: Hard to argue with that, Nigel. But Edge still has fight in him.

After a big final stomp, Edge rolled out of the way and Randy’s foot hit nothing but canvas. Edge snapped up to a standing position and traded multiple blows with the champion. Edge connected with a knee to Randy’s midsection, and Randy clocked him with an uppercut. Both men fell to their knees. They still punched each other from this position. They alowly got to their feet, and Edge chopped away at him. Orton stumbled back, but then hit a snap dropkick and sent him out of the ring. Orton slithered out of the ring and stalked Edge. He grabbed Edge’s arms around the ring post and pulled Edge throat-first into the turnbuckle connector. Edge stumbled forward, gasping for air. He got on the apron, and Orton grabbed him. Orton dragged him up to the top rope and clubbed his back multiple times. Orton took some time to tuck Edge’s arm over his neck and went for a big superplex. Edge hooked his leg to stop the superplex, then grabbed Orton’s head and leapt off the turnbuckle with a devastating tornado DDT. Orton crashed to the mat head first and Edge covered him for a near fall.

Edge slowly picked up the champion and whipped him towards the ropes. He bounced off the ropes himself. They each hit the ropes for a running cross-body, but they had the same idea and wiped each other out.

Mauro Ranallo: Edge and Randy on the same page, unfortunately for them!

Nigel McGuiness: These men are so evenly matched, if anyone wants to know why they’re the best tag team in the history of the EBWF, watch this match to understand!

Both Randy and Edge were motionless in the middle of the ring. Randy rolled over onto his stomach, holding his abdomen. He laboriously moved to one knee, and Edge did the same. They both looked at each other, breathing heavily.

Paul Heyman: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!

Mauro Ranallo: What the…

The crowd soured immediately as Paul Heyman came from behind the curtain to interrupt the exciting back and forth contest between Orton and Edge. He smiled despite the vitriolic response from the crowd. Randy and Edge both looked at the entranceway, both enraged.

Paul Heyman: Randy Orton. For years I have courted you as a potential client and have failed. As long as your tag team partner Edge is in the picture, you will never feel the need for the services of a brilliant mind, such as myself. I thought that I could drive a wedge between the two of you by sewing mistrust and doubt, but I understand now that that was a fool’s errand. And that is when it came to me.

Heyman grinned as Randy and Edge both got to their feet and started saying inaudible, but clearly not pleasant things at Heyman.

Paul Heyman: Rated RKO is a juggernaut. An unstoppable monster that has run roughshod over EBWF for far too long. And the only way to kill a monster, is by unleashing a bigger... far more sinister... monster.

Hey man dropped his mic and walked out, leaving Randy and Edge in the ring. There was an uneasy murmur in the crowd as Randy and Edge looked at each other quizzically.

Mauro Ranallo: Not really sure what that was abo--

And that's when the light's when out, and the EBWF Tron came to life.

The ring was bathed in a deep red as The Fiend appeared on the ramp, holding a lantern that appeared to be made of a severed head. Randy and Edge, still panting from their match, both tensed up and prepared as the new menace stalked them down the ramp.

Mauro Ranallo: What the-- what has Paul Heyman done?!

Nigel McGuiness: I'm at a loss for words, Mauro! Paul Heyman has brought in some help in the form of pure evil!

The scarred, demonic face mask of The Fiend had the disturbing smile permanently etched on it's features. Draped in a long, black duster, The Fiend walked up the steps slowly, not seemingly concerned about the 2 on 1 disadvantage he was walking into. As soon as he ducked his head under the top rope, Randy and Edge immediately charged him, laying in hard hammer fist shots to the back of his neck. The Fiend shoved both men off seemingly effortlessly, sending them rolling away from the intruder.

Mauro Ranallo: The Fiend is engaging with the tag team champions, and doesn't seem to be concerned just one bit!

Nigel McGuiness: How would you know if he's concerned or not?!

Edge and Randy looked at each other and nodded. Edge engaged first, but the Fiend blocked his shots and hit a headbutt. Randy charged next, but The Fiend immediately jammed his fingers down Randy's throat, catching him with a Mandible Claw! Randy flailed wildly, trying to fight out of it but The Fiend's grip was locked on tight. Edge began pummeling on The Fiend to try and get him to let go, but the Fiend grabbed Edge's head and hit a DDT without breaking the Mandible Claw on Orton. Edge was motionless as The Fiend cinched in his hold on Orton, causing him to fade from consciousness. By the time The Fiend finally broke his grip, Orton was completely out on his back. The Fiend walked over to Edge, picked him up, and tilted him down. He kissed Edge on the forehead and planted him with the Sister Abigail.

Mauro Ranallo: I'm... at a loss for words. The Fiend just managed to dispatch the longest reigning EBWF Tag Team champions of all time. And not only did he do it single handedly, it didn't even seem that difficult.

Nigel McGuiness: I mean, granted Randy and Edge were tired from the match, but it's just one man!

Mauro Ranallo: That's not a man, Nigel. Like Paul Heyman said... that's a monster. And Heyman has just unleashed him on EBWF.

Surrounded by the motionless bodies of Edge and Randy Orton, The Fiend outstretched his arms to the stunned crowd, as "Let Me In" by Code Orange again began playing loudly. Flames erupted from the ring posts as The Fiend laughed maniacally. The EBWF logo flashed across the bottom of the screen as Wrestlemania went off the air.
